The shipping industry has decided to put it’s house in order for one main reason, public pressure concerning environmental matters. That pressure comes via public platforms and fora focusing public opinion in the direction of political power.
QFI on social media is not about looking to sell MSAR to a specific customer, it’s about selling our company as a solution, a player in the future of environmentally less damaging fuels en route to zero carbon. We want the public to buy in to what we offer cos where the public goes the industry will likely follow.
Oh Indigo get with the real deal :) facepalm and social s..t is the real deal these days. These so called in influencers are just what QFI need, sit on a beach and promote the company and its great potential! Take a few photos of the fuel in action on a 2 stroke and hey ho you have a following. All the boards around the globe are on social media did you not know.
This post is not a representation of the poster or anything to do with the issues with social media. Is that what you say!
Indi, I think you'll find it's Mmmwwwaahh! :-)
Yes, but greenfield aren't the only option available to Quadrise. Unless I'm mistaken, Morocco is there in the background also.
In all fairness qfi are waiting on greenfield
We are in agreement. Quadrise is the only share I've held of years and keep saying to my self it will happen in the next 6 months/3 months/ next month. I've not commented much over the last couple of months because I'm getting bored of waiting and waiting. I really thought more was going to happen in Q1 and now April has nearly disappeared again with no real update or news....Plus we are all still on tender-hooks waiting to find out the second marine company still!!
I agree 46Gillingham, getting the message out there has never been a strong point. Hopefully the sign up to the UK Chambers of Shipping can help provide a little more exposure and start a confident build up of positive media. Obviously the biggest and best media is a signed commercial contract. After that, exposure to a working product that generates real value, then IMO it will sell itself. It’s been a long long road and yes we have all had our moans and groans. We might even still be groaning in a years time but for me the next 3 months is crucial and forward progress must be achieved and maintained.
Here he is. Font of all knowledge.

QFI have never been super busy on media. Its one of the big bugbears I have about QFI. I think they have single-handedly missed every major opportunity to capitalise on media stories about the shipping industry in recent years.
Additionally over the last 4-6 months they have started posting regularly on LinkedIn which although good to see frankly its a waste of time up to 20 Likes usually the same people liking including me and no shares....If this is a route they wish to go down each post needs to be supported with money helping the post reach a wider market....Sadly I think they are poorly advised and wasting money on this front. The cheapest and probably the most effective way to get better media coverage would be for either Mike or Jason to email/call every journalist that cover any story in our target areas suck as these articles:-

They are still happy tweeting away :) I doubt they have time for any RNS's. I hope they have not forgotten about MSC now they are super busy on media :)
Considering all our developments due by H1 I find it hard to believe we won’t receive some updates next week as the first month of Q2 comes to a close.
Plenty of LinkedIn activity from Quadrise too from their joining of the UK Chamber of Shipping yesterday to their publicly referring again their shipping trail with MSC 3 days ago. It seems everything’s going to plan as they wouldn’t be shouting about it still otherwise, plus we have the developments in BioMSAR, Utah and Morocco to be updated on. Plenty to chew over so an update would be very welcomed next week!
Few on here will be made up it's not risen today.
