"As there seems to be a difference in oil from each site, perhaps multiple samples would be wise"
I think when/if Greenfield ever get into full scale production, (at least 1 x 5,000 bopd unit) there could well be a mini QFI lab on site to monitor the oil produced and tweak where necessary the added ****tail for MSAR production. QFI will want to ensure the MSAR offering is consistent and where slight differences occur, there will be no bearing on quality, efficiency and operational effects of using the fuel.
As there seems to be a difference in oil from each site, perhaps multiple samples would be wise
Theres a lot of AT trades going through on the bid.
I’m not so sure.
Just as you only get one chance to make a first impression, Tomco/Greenfield must be aware that they will only get one chance to get their sample tested at QRF and subsequently and successfully emulsified on-site into LSMSAR.
With that I mind I don’t expect news until late June when the LSMSAR is produced at Asphalt Ridge and Greenfield pull back the curtain for The Big Reveal and accompanying razzmatazz involving marching bands and a pair of F-16’s fly past.
It would be a potential PR disaster and a permanent loss of credibility for Tomco /Greenfield to give a running ‘Olympic Torch’ commentary on the samples’ progress across the Atlantic and back.
Consider if QRF announced that the sample is still contaminated with clay fractions; or the sample in its present state can’t be emulsified. Or the sample was lost in transit as the container it was in was swept overboard after the Maersk container ship suffered a power blackout after its VLSFO fuelled engines failed and the ship was beam-on in a storm?
Or the UK spec. QFI MMU hook up to USA on-site utilities was delayed 4 weeks due to incompatible connections?
All this is why we might not hear of anything from Utah for another 6-8 weeks.
Agreed Wonga. The key words from QFI are “representative samples”. There’s absolutely no point in Greenfield sending samples which may be inferior to a fully optimised production system, so they won’t.
I'm guessing they're still having issues with quality/consistency of processed oil. I expect Tomco will be eager to trumpet the news that they've achieved their goal and proved the system works by sending the samples asap.
The lack of news on this front leads me to believe they're not there yet...
Many thanks.
As oil is being produced I would hope so.If this is the case we should have POC confirmation from Quadrise in 2 to 3 weeks .
I'd hope Tom would issue an rns to confirm assay then dispatch, especially given the past errors which were not published
Question, do we think the oil samples have left Utah yet ,
Fair play some good active banter and educational insights on this forum at the moment and I have enjoyed reading these posts over the months and years....not like the shambles and comedy going on on the futura forum at the moment ??
That’s quite radical indigo!
So I guess Monday would be a good day to give us a positive update with new shares being admitted.
@fyoz and moving forward, no need for further placings until self sustainability. A lot better position than two years ago
"Almost twice as many shares on issue now compared with the time you are referring to which was seven years ago"
Depends on how accurate you want to be. In 2014 there were 807m shares in issue versus 1390m now. That's an increase of 72% not double. So approx 10% increase per year, which for a pre-commercial AIM company is pretty good
Its highest point was 50.98p on 02/12/2013... I remember it well... Let's hope the history of promises and delays is finally put to rest in the near future.
We all know how the Maersk issue finished but do not forget it was not a fault of the fuel. MSAR was a success in the trial and the product worked. Just because they went down the wrong route with VLSFO then it’s behind us and done with. We are all just sitting or standing patiently waiting for the next MSC update. If it is really positive and delivers strong progress then yes IMO we will lift much higher because this time the globe wants shipping to see a new light. We certainly have so much more in our favour this time round. If MSC as big as they are use the fuel then many many others should and no doubt will follow. Patience is key , this is a long journey
We have Mir shares but allowing for inflation and the fact we now have four trials in play including BioMSAR we should now be at around 30p on speculation alone and the nearer we get to a positive result the price should get to around the £1.00 mark. Then a signed contract or two and this little baby could easily get to, well your guess is as good as mine but with the Maersk debacle haunting us we are where we are. What will put that to rest is the contract that we all believe will be signed with many more to follow.
Those that get in now, all being well, will make a tidy profit. We have a great many fun months ahead and with Covid also soon to be just a memory that has not helped us progress as we should have, the flood gates will open.
Almost twice as many shares on issue now compared with the time you are referring to which was seven years ago.
The only thing that would hold it back are memories of what happened last time.
Yes Colins.. holding your nerve is indeed the name of the game..
I'm still standing.. GLA

i bought years ago at 12p and rose to 50p all off the back of Maersk trial with no commercial deal signed.......I only have that to base it off but interesting to know what would hold it back under 10p in what now feel like similar circumstances
Obviously there is a huge difference between the MCAP of our company priced to fail and the potential MCAP with multiple commercial contracts signed! Where we sit and how this pans out between the old price and say the price in 2 years time is anyone’s guess. Any sign of those samples or just the kit and fuel on its way to Morocco then I would guess that double figure share price might not be far away. A comprehensive MSC update also could show just how serious and compelling this future could be.
No news is good news. !!!
Those that bought at 2p or less are smiling big time but even the newcomers to QFI have done very well over the past few weeks and they are telling their friends of the profits made (on paper) and so the word spreads.
When solid news EVENTUALLY arrives I have no doubt the bounce will take us to at leat 20p plus, and that will be on just one positive result from the tests underway.
After that who knows where we will end up, but going back to that old chestnut of who will hold their nerve and not sell for what will be substantial profits for many.
So our big problem will be who will he left standing to attend the £1.00 party.

Come on the 7s well it looks like I was wrong I said it would hover around the 5s until a deal is signed I still believe it won’t do something amazing until deal is signed but as I’m nearly always wrong that can only be a good thing lol I’m pleased for all Quadrise share holders who have reached their buying average and others who are not there yet it will come good luck
