IMO, if it works , it’s bloody massive. Shipping, the great no solution to.
Took a 500k with City index, the only SB provider left for QFi.
Thanks, Cupacoffee. I am unfamiliar with Alba Minerals so I can't comment, and am probably sounding more impatient than I actually am (or have now been for years). I don't expect to be alerted every time someone brings Mike his morning coffee but rather think there is probably a happy medium of better engagement of news flow with shareholders even if there aren't big milestones to report. There are a lot of very engaged people, who are interested in this company both here and on the forum (my thanks to you all), so a bit more reciprocity from the company would likely be appreciated by many. There are plenty of things they could update us on without spending much time/ effort , which many of us are probably sad enough to find interesting!
I think the BOD put forward their best estimate in Q4 and early 2021 prior to the funding on all the current project which we all got very excited about not least the new II. Wonder if the II have better and more current news than us?
gr1bbler - sounds like you're describing Alba Minerals and the approach GF had taken to ramp up the SP. Many were burnt, and the SP has suffered because of it. They released another RNS today, which should have had quite a positive impact on SP, but it's done nothing more than a blip.
I prefer the no updates from the BOD, unless there is substantial positive news.
I think there is more a hurry to make as much as possible up to 30.6.2021 on the Company side. So they can report of progress.
I would wait one week and then we will see.
But the news will be more on Utah samples arrived, Tests where made and we will shipping the equipment in next few weeks to Utah.
The same will be for Marocco, we are now on site (or will be in few weeks) and the MSC will sound something we are on track to prepare for tests….
I think it comes down to expectation management. Don't spout off with promises of regular updates, overly ambitious project deadlines and "9.5/10" confidence levels, if you know there is a reasonable chance this won't materialise. And people are likely to feel more aggrieved when it doesn't if they've just put their hand in their pocket for a fund raise.
To be fair our BOD should be updating us not RNS's from partners
To be fair we know why Utah and Morocco are behind and are being told that MSC is progressing well. They are not going to spoon feed us with updates when there is nothing significant to report on
I fully agree, 46G. The reality has been a far cry from the promise of regular updates we were sold, which, regardless if there is plenty of good work going on in the background which we don't know about, should've resulted in some (any) communication once the previously outlined "deadlines" became recent history. It has been hugely frustrating and only a whopper of of an update will justify the prolonged silence for me.
Its very apparent that the BOD have suggested deadlines on all the current projects none of which have been meet. Having been a holder in QFI for over 10 years I'm hardened to their appalling record on achieving deadlines or keeping shareholders up to speed on what's going on. I apricated thing may have slipped but no news or updates even just to inform us that there initial time line has slipped I think is very poor.
