Can you imagine the gremlins on this or other BB's if QFI hadn't released an RNS explaining the current situation re: travel.
It states MAY hinder travel not definitely WILL hinder.
Others are right in what they have posted.
It’s worth remembering that the client are keen to proceed. They’ve also only in the last couple of weeks reiterated their intention for us to be hosted and to run the trials on their site.
This isn’t a case of endless talk and bluster not leading to anything - this is happening. It’s just exactly what the RNS says, this *might* now take just a bit longer pending the details of the new travel restrictions and how we navigate them.
We’re keen, the clients keen, the trials still happening and that’s all that matters.
Indigo,
you need to read between the lines to realize that it will impact EVERYTHING.
I can bet a lazy 50 that Morocco testing won't happen this year. Any takers?
Aussie.
I'm with Wonga on this, why state the following
"However, the ban on inbound and outbound UK flights may affect the ability of Quadrise personnel to travel to Morocco to carry out the trial, with a resultant potential impact on the trial start date. "
When we know that there is a get around this development. It seems they are just looking for excuses. Why on earth put out an RNS with a potential negative impact statement when there is no need.
Just when everyone was getting excited about Morocco starting QFI give us yet another kick in the Gonads!!!
WongaFC,
you are 100% right.
This is Mike Kirk's modus operandi:
1. Find a distraction (Morocco lock down)
2. Slip in some bad news (fuel still not manufactured)
3. Feed it to the masses (RNS)
I am soooo fed up with this management.
Aussie.
Easy enough to fly to Malaga, hire a car and drive to Tarifa for the ferry to Tangiers. Did it myself about twelve years ago. There’s a very nice hotel in Tangiers based on the Ritz but a lot less expensive.
That RNS is a bit concerning. If they have the will, getting to Morocco should not be an issue, especially as the client is probably the Moroccan Govt!!!
Reads to me like they're getting their excuses in early for further delays on this project, possibly getting the fuel manufactured???
Quadrise Fuels International plc (AIM: QFI) notes the announcement today by the Government of Morocco regarding a ban on UK flights until further notice, due to rising UK Covid-19 cases. The Company continues to prepare for the forthcoming trial at the client site in Morocco, with equipment ready to be shipped and arrangements for fuel manufacture in place. The ban on UK flights is not expected to impact the scheduled shipment of trial equipment in October 2021. However, the ban on inbound and outbound UK flights may affect the ability of Quadrise personnel to travel to Morocco to carry out the trial, with a resultant potential impact on the trial start date. The Company continues to prepare for the commencement of the trial in Q4 2021 whilst monitoring the situation and further announcements will be made, as appropriate, in due course.
