RKB- when you are ready, I am interested to hear your thoughts on why you invested here. I am always interested in good poster like yourself., especially with the in depth knowledge of Qbt that you have.
I understand you are waiting for a certain poster to disappear first , which I would also like . I just ignore the usual suspects now as I figured them out ages ago.
Morning Eddie, interesting read in the new house, great that the oil tank is being filled for you as a sweetener but be very careful buying right now as the housing market is slowing an prices have been overinflated, many have had to end up in a bidding war to get property, ok if you have capital behind you and don’t mind waiting till the next housing cycle, if it’s your forever home and your are secure in your financial position then ride it out.
PV is all well and good on the sunny days but not so clever on dark winter days for producing and replenishing a power wall, also when it snows make sure you have a way of clearing. All about management of the renewables as you will see.
I note in another post you like to keep a balanced board, let’s hope you also chastise those that post unfounded negativity as well as unfounded positivity. I am myself a glass half full person and quite optimistic but do need to also keep my feet on the ground so it’s helpful to read posts that might indicate I have missed x,y or even z.
A board should be able to debate and I like to think optimistic as it should be full of investors who have done there DD on their investment, the chancers and traders with this is going to the moon and those ghat have missed that still have positions to take screaming scam and misleading comments I don’t have time for but this is a sad reflection on how these chat boards have become.
Anyway good luck with your house move:)

Reginald Eccles: True Gentleman
I only had the pleasure of meeting Reginald on three occasions, all at AGM’s.
The first time we met was at the AGM in 2017, the one where ordinary shareholders were going to vote against the Special Resolution. Reginald chaired the meeting and had the difficult task of ensuring that the proxy votes that I had were not voted against the special resolution. The AGM was I believe uncomfortable for FG but after good interactions through “the chair” I voted for the special resolution.
After the formal close of the AGM, Reginald had a conversation with me and gave me some excellent advice and he said that he welcomed shareholders holding BoD’s to account and that I should continue to conduct myself the way that he does when executing his NED duties.
Whenever I met Reginald at future AGM’s we would have interesting conversations and I was always left with the impression that he took his fiduciary duties seriously.
There was one occasion where I had emailed LSE, FCA, Nomad, PR, FG & RE and I was copied-in on a response in error and that is when I knew that Reginald was looking after all shareholders interests (the Nomad was barred)
Over the years I have met and conversed with numerous Directors and Reginald is the one that stood head and shoulders above them all.
My thoughts are with Reginald’s wife, son, daughters, family & friends and Francesco at this time.
We have seen some despicable posting yesterday and they should be ashamed of what they have said.
I was going to Post some thoughts, but I will desist while we have a particular troll on our B.B.
