Let’s hope they put their money where their mouth is and lead the way by including it in their own brands. Good to see a quick start in their marketing.
Good find Dr_H. Seems to have encouraged some buying this pm. 0.75 - 0.90 going into the weekend, might be an interesting week next week...
Good find Doc.
Shows some commitment to the massive gut health sector, with Fruitflow at the centre of their scientific studies.
Dr. Robert E. Steinert, Principal Scientist at DSM comments: “DSM is committed to helping people improve their gut health and use this as a gateway to overall wellbeing. The results of this study are incredibly encouraging and support earlier findings that polyphenol-rich extracts can lower TMAO concentrations through a targeted and beneficial modulation of the gut microbiota. We’re looking forward to working with our customers to develop new dietary supplement solutions targeting the gut-heart axis. Looking ahead, this study paves the way for future research into the gut-brain axis, especially age-related cognitive decline. This is an exciting time for gut-health research.”
Would have/would be a good fit in a few i-Health brands of DSM

It is strange that DSM have papers around why FF is beneficial to menopause, but then don't use it themselves with Phenology.

The gut health opportunity with DSM is massive. It just remains to be seen whether they actually do anything with it. If they are serious about it, we will see it appear in their own products like Culturelle, Hologram, Up4 etc. If not, it will just be at a few trade shows and slowly get customers like FF did.
I'm at 0.94 gaf so in a similar position. My first buy was at 8.18, 14 years ago, so it's been a long wait and a hard slog. I'm still convinced it will come good, one day. I hope it does anyway, I've got a fairly big chunk here now.
Ignore alf's usual disdain for his fellow holders, in another ten years he'll be telling people they should have done this or that. SP will probably be 0.065 by then but he'll be praising the board on a sound job whilst waiting for their "many multiples" to appear. Just joking alf, we all love you really.
Good luck gaf, keep the faith!
Maybe they are saving FF for Gut Health?

Doesn’t seem to include ff , if not think they’ve missed a trick here . ........https://www.dsm.com/human-nutrition/en/talking-nutrition/introducing-phenology-from-hologram-sciences.html?utm_source=marketo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=issue-41&utm_term=global&utm_content=hnh&utm_vehicle=personalized-nutrition&mkt_tok=MzM5LVNYVy03NjEAAAGJXbcAvS94dYjkfTAXwYhEk7td5FNHEmJbvl_ZzZn3BTNbzof5-U8x66A13CZDzmFjNnAlfPX4UEkag6JIRFkFGtEBiwDKAJgiPYf3WnMEWTVTHpg6q6A

Why the massive spread
There has been ample opportunity to adjust your holding while the price was much lower than todays.
These " it's the only investment cash I ever had" claims do get a bit wearying. Did so few people really take no notice of the involvement of the backers who reversed the decline a few years back? I saw great significance in the involvement of Stuey Luey, bless his cotton socks.
If you are stupid, we'll all stupid. Most of us here are in the same boat. However, the next 5 years appear to be massively different than the last 5 years. We should move into profit in the next financial year.
I've been in this for so many years. Stuck at 1p. This company really does do my head in. Fruit flow since 2009 and im still hoping history repeats its self. Am I stupid. 20p one day.
Direct sales also begin this month to Fruitflow brand users.
Invoice financing is another option, quite straightforward, but involving some loss of margin.
Options.
You would hope after nearly 5 months of negotiations that they must be close to a conclusion with the third party , as you say gix if they pay nearly £300 k out of our funds the market should be informed I believe .BUt this is provexis we’re talking about .
DSM's current stock expected to be in excess of €1m (£886,906)
Cash in bank at 30 September 2022 = £745k
How much stock we will buy and therefore how much cash might be needed is still unclear so would like to think that we would get an RNS on or just after 31-1-2023 when the first payment is due.
Just remember its stock we are buying and it will be sold at a profit.

From the interims :-
"Based on its current level of cash it is expected that the Group will therefore need to raise further equity finance, or potentially new loan finance, in the coming months ..."
So, as Alf and yourself have said, it doesn't have to be in January.
Given our cash burn rate, I'd say February is the most likely time. If we don't manage to arrange something without going to the market and need a placing then I'd guess it'll be early February ( to allow time to put everything in place ).
If they are going to raise money on the market, I hope they use Primary Bid or similar to allow anyone to help fund it ( though I'm not sure if we still have an association with PB ? ).
They have a couple of other options, such as stock financing (overdraft), and logistics funding, (third party handler)
I suppose the increase in income from the new deal will keep the reserves at a certain level .
I realise they have £700k in the bank but do they really want to deplete the safety net we’ve have with that !
That has been the major problem for 13 years cannot reach the mass population;don't need educated people;just serious marketing
No.
Read the rest of the update and you will see that they have enough cash to cover at least two of the payments, and that there are other funding options.
