Just to be clear - the previous poster did report my post. Not sure why, but I guess he doesn't like me and tends to report most of my posts. Ahh well, such is life. The commitment of Prof. Asim and Dr Niamh might have more to do with the fact they are being paid rather than working to instill confidence in the shareholder of Provexis?
Morning all. Just to be clear Colby, no I didn't report your post. I did report Percy, vile abuse, and he reported mine for simply pointing out what company law says. Strange, I don't make the law. Bern/sphinx. I agree that we don't exactly know if the prime purpose of the RNS was to report the sales increase or confirm the funding. Both were important, both could affect the way investors considered the company and so could be described as price sensitive Personally, the commitment of DSM to marketing, and the commitment of Prof. Asim and Dr Niamh to continued widening of the scope of health benefits, are the reason for my own confidence. Let others see shadows, those are two tangible factors that can't be denied.
Err Sphinxy ... A trading update RNS came out on the 10th May 2017 (See http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=PXS&ArticleCode=ktu7lxur&ArticleHeadline=Trading_Update ) , and, one of the things in that update was "In its preliminary results statement currently scheduled for early September the Company expects to report on a strong year of progress. ... The Company expects to report revenues for the year ended 31 March 2017 of 228k, a 148% year on year increase (2016: 92k)." So it's quite possible that they were advised to inform the market of that change because it was considered material, though, to be fair, that trading update came out on the same day as the results of a placing were announced, so that change in revenue might have just been an aside, but it seems unlikely. I'd be surprised, but delighted, if the YoY revenue change for the FY just ended is more than 30% At 30%, I wouldn't expect that to be considered particularly material, so wouldn't necessarily expect a trading update, but if it was more than say 50%, and the company sat on that info until the results came out in September, then, as well as being even more delighted, I think I'd be asking questions as to why the market hadn't been informed. If we don't get a trading update in the next two or three weeks, then I'm sticking to what I said last Friday, and will be assuming that no major news needs to be brought to the attention of the market for the FY recently closed. The upshot of that would be an expectation of total revenue in the order of 250 to 300k for 2017/18. If anyone wants to hope /believe anything else, then that's entirely up to them ! BB
https://inews.co.uk/news/environment/the-government-promises-crucial-action-on-air-pollution-but-mps-and-campaigners-say-its-not-enough/ Article confirms the need for action now and the need for more awareness of the benefits of our Fruitflow to help manage the serious British and global problem. "The government promised to crack down on air pollution by pledging to halve the number of people living in areas of dangerously high pollution by 2025. But the eagerly-awaited plan to clean up Britains air was sharply criticised for lacking the concrete and ambitious actions needed to fulfill that promise" " with Green Party co-leader Caroline Lucas saying it was like taking a water pistol to the air pollution wildfire. Just a reminder that 2017 results showed a 148% increase ,which did not require the company to inform the market !
If I were on the board of Directors i would issue a n update to stop any speculation , just a thought
As like with London and many more large cities as he population grows more and more people will suffer from the bad health effects of poor air polution. And as the new patent states "(EN) WATER SOLUBLE TOMATO EXTRACT PROTECTS AGAINST ADVERSE EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION" So, sadlyl, as the world population grows and grows the need for products like our Fruitflow will grow and grow too. And in my opinion, as like with the Chinese company By-Health in collaboration with DSM and Provexis they intend to meet this growing need, and governments like in China and India and around the world will be in full support of tackling this growing problem based on Prevention is Better and Cheapter then Cure; and with the growing pressure on our National Health Service our government will also be looking at these factors. Hence, in my opinion DSM and By-Health will be looking seriouly into buying us out.(hence, the silence.)
Thank you for sharing that information, gives me a glimmer of hope for the future
It seems that my previous post was libelous and defamatory hence the reason it was removed. Not sure exactly which bit, but apologies to the board nevertheless. Anyway - MultiID's aside (which incidentally are libelous and defamatory) and have no relevance to PXS, its been 5 months since any communication from the company....
Why do you confuse an opinion with a fact. A fact is a known, and you don't. As for the other multi ID poster claiming to be the only one who is realistic. Again, that is an opinion masquerading as a known. At least Snuffler on the other board qualifies his gloom, but again, only in his own opinion, but still trying to involve others in his personal tunnel vision. Said before, it is perfectly legitimate to disagree with you. You hand out abuse willy nilly, I take the rise.
Alf, you've an annoying habit of equating clinical depression with a pessimistic view of Provexis although it is true to say that any holder of shares in this Company is fully entitled to feel let down and frustrated. I would like to remind you that my outlook on life does not reflect the fact that we are all very likely to lose our investment here due to the poor BOD and the inertia of DSM. Forget Kennedy et al, they are scientists and don't give a toss about us. Same goes for all the other hangers on "promoting" Fruitflow because, as far as I can tell, the message hasn't got through to their peers.
Now THAT is a great idea and definitely something that needs communicating to the BOD. Sandwich boards!!! why wasn't it thought of earlier as an advertising medium for Fruitflow? Although a fundraising may be required for the materials.
Looks to me that we need to get some sandwich boards printed so that "Les Miserables" can parade outside tube stations. Can only say, in all sincerity, I'm glad I don't inhabit their worlds, nigh on unbearable. Dior, genuine sympathy. I hope you have folks close to you that you can share your anxieties with, and believe that human empathy is more powerful than any pill. I was amazed to read that you are still using the Swanson giant capsules, surely Fruitflow + Omega 3 would be far easier to obtain, and to take?
Oh well!! If that’s the case, we can’t say we’ve not had plenty of time to prepare. Some investments pay off, some don’t. That’s half the fun with high risk shares such as these. Don’t forget to turn the lights off on your way out and better luck next time ATB
Pickle. It's game over. No major user, no news on Chinese products, niche pathetic products and money running out. And my Fruitflow + tablets stink of old age. I'm prepared for a total loss on this one.
Fonda ..... someone has ticked up one of your posts so they must be feeling sorry for you. .....but it makes no difference. .... your still getting slaughtered by alfista
Some here may be overly optimistic and some overly pessimistic. Can’t see the harm in either stance as long as it’s based on fact. Regarding Fruitflow newsflow. I suppose we’re kept updated on progress with potential applications, but commercialisation is probably sensitive information and in the hands of DSM and BiHealth. Happy to hold the few I bought not so long ago and likely to buy more if/when positive news from China is forthcoming.
Not quite Henry. My wife looked at Fruitflow and gave it 10 years to realise its potential. About 1 year to go by her reckoning. Will have to get her something nice if these ever take off.
Thank you for your kind responses.
Sorry to hear that you are going through a hard time at present. I think a word of caution is required here. Fruitflow acts as an aid to prevent cardio vascular events but not cure them. If you have high blood pressure as a result of stress then you might well see some improvement, however if it is not stress related you could be putting yourself at serious risk. Remember Fruitflow is designed for the "worried well" not those already ill. In my case they thought I had the early stages of Angina but found nothing on the Treadmill test. Further tests showed an artery 87% blocked. My symptoms were minimal. Take care.
Hi All. I’ve decided to be a human guinea pig and will keep you all posted with my results. Basically I’ve had the worst news a Mum could hear! Result is I’m stressed beyond anything I’ve ever experienced, even thought I was having a heart attack. In short I was given Pills and sent for a heart check up. The result was possible angina but inconclusive. I’ve been given statins and aspirin to take daily and a little bottle of something to take when I can’t breath. I think I’m suffering from anxiety and although it’s hard to control I’m doing breathing and yoga etc to help and I’m not very keen to take pills especially as my results are inconclusive! I’ve had a meeting with dr. Who basically said to take the pills and come back in 6 months. He didn’t shrug his shoulders but might as well. I’ve decided to up the intake of Swanson to the recommended 3 per day and forget about the pills. That was 3 weeks ago and so far so good I haven’t had a panic attack. I’ll go back to the Dr. In 6 months to have another check up but won’t take the prescribed drugs then we can see what he comes up with. Keeping fingers crossed that circulease does what it says. As I said I will keep you posted. I’ve been a share holder in here and sitting on a loss for a very long time but if there’s something positive comes out of this I’ll be delighted.
Henry Fonda ( the fastest gun in the west) has been beaten to the draw by alfista. .....Fonda has had to take 7 bullets from alfista by the tick ups. So therefore round one definitely goes to alfista
Bless, You have a real fetish for criticising me don't you. Percy, I don't think SiS is a disaster, I'm in profit there and expect a whole lot more. I think the job done by the company in establishing a global brand is excellent, and the list of insti investors underpin the commitment to SiS becoming a very valuable company. I'm well content with SiS. You got SiS shares, and sold them, your bad.
The difference is that I have never claimed to know timescales, because I had no way of knowing, whereas you pretended to know, then set yourself up for a whinge when it didn't arrive. There is no way of overplaying a patent, it is what it is. I have never linked that to "a deal". Provexis keep giving the marketing arm of DSM more tools to work with, which I view as a good thing, whereas you wanted the whole research project mothballed years ago, a strategy that would have been lunacy IMO. If Fruitflow has even more potential applications, then the scientists have a duty to explore them. Taking the Ned Ludd approach is so typically you.
Yes, indeed the many patents are very important. Prof Asim and Dr Niamh are the scientific support that is crucial. Now. When you bought your shares, did you look at the market cap at that time? Did you know the timescale involved in the development process? A clear answer please.
