I am annoyed though because I thought he would hang it out to the last. so i voted against all but the 1st one in the hope a new MD would then be appointed and give us a real understanding on what is going on.
To be fair he did himself no favours, in an interview he said i will try to avoid more placings ans shareholders have had enough of them, then their is the tiger on the leash remark in so many interviews, Italy dragging on and on.
Plus the fact he gives a very pore interview each time.
And at long last he has sort of moved on.

This is going to be interesting, in a conversation with Ed a little while ago I thought that things were going quite well as he felt positive about income in Italy and of course upside from Spain. It may be that shareholders feel that those geographies and the power station in Spain were not what they wanted and that limited revenue did not give them enough scope.
The shares had had a good run before recent results after which some disappointment regarding income from Italy appeared and the fact that the shares are 17% up on the news probably reflects optimism regarding a change of direction for the company.
Thank goodness ED has gone. In the last two shareholder updates he was unimpressive and the poor skills almost convinced me to sell even at a loss. My 11 year old grandson is a better public speaker!
Bringing in an experienced CEO can only help with progress and give more confidence on delivery which has been woeful even allowing for the pandemic. Rebuilding trust of shareholders is critical and possibly more II involvement through new CEO's connections. Hopefully costs will not be increased materially.
Lesson #1 here - never buy shares in a natural resources company who's CEO is primarily a dairy farmer. It will not turn out well.
Natural Gas futures are flying today
nice to see this s/p bounce today.. predictable perhaps.. How big a bounce is the q.. 1p on top shout be sutekhs below interesting.. seems a punchy shout, but nice momentum currently and if you add a feel good agm on top, 3,25p to 3.5p may well be upon us soon enough.. In that case I may live to regret selling half my holding recently.. but i've added back two tranches - 2.3's and 2.8's - today so have a decent enough holding again here now..
New Ceo. New chapter.
Total Assets of GBP5,748,211
agree that Ed moving on completely after a relative quick transition/handover would seem to be the most useful outcome from here.. having his salary on top of new ceo's salary for a company of this size for many many months is not a good thing imho ( unless he's being paid much lower consultant rates versus his old salary going forward.. I'm guessing not ?)
I think Ed going should on its own add 1p to the SP
Great news - just topped up
Hopefully it’s only temporary whilst he gives new guy the passwords and he’s lockers
Such a snake, slithers his way into a new role on the eve of getting the boot.
Great news today, pxen has had zero credibility, onwards and upwards.
did a top up at the open to celebrate the changing of the guard here.. Good luck to the new CEO.. Can't say I'll miss Ed as I found him a dead head.
Perhaps the next step is to put pressure on the new CEO to have him removed altogether
Best RNS I've seen here for years - hooorrayyyy - surely SP should react very well to this news ...
Shame he stays on as an employee though - let's hope Mark can finish him off and show him the door asap..
What a coward resigning the day before he was sacked by us holders.
If he was pushed out by us in the vote it would make another job more difficult.
