Massively oversold with NAV well above MCap. Rerate finally underway from solid floor.
is awakening!
Pressure building today. Excuse the pun.Loads of buying in the last couple of days. Is something in the offing !!!
Don't forget Pressure Tech's nuclear abilities in pressure systems too....
16 New small nuclear power plants have been ordered by U.K. in Green Revolution
This has all the attributes of a turnaround given the new chairman and the huge opportunities open to tbe specialist skills here. Pressurised vessels of all sizes will be in demand as hydrogen use and its storage escalates. The regular validation of critical pressurised equipment is also a safety critical task carried out by high-barrier-to-entry specialists which Pres provides. These key personnel will be free to address that market as lockdown eases. Lots of growth prospects in numerous fields and the asset value allows room for manoeuvre.
Japan, Russia, Germany and China are all making massive investments in the use of hydrogen as a green resource. However it is produced it requires storage in large pressure vessels. Guess who specialises in the manufacture, storage and validation of those vessels. (Clue, it's in the name) It really is just a waiting game till the Instos start to re-evaluate what Pressure Technolgy can do. Fixation was on oil and gas but the fact that Shell has given Pres the exclusivity to produce storage cylinders for it's European petrol stations speaks volumes. Hydrogen is so much more customer friendly than battery power for reasons of customer behaviour, vehicle weight and cost. Plus the fact that several of the production methods use the hydrocarbons that Shell currently produces in the changeover. Interesting....very.
Looks an excellent base to kick up from here given exposure to hydrogen and nuclear plus overseeing statutory periodic revalidation of pressure vessels here and overseas.
hi mate
always interested in valuation ratios and looking for undervalued companies
followed PRES previously - very low mcap now and i think seems base level here
Revalidation team
Interesting to note that the MCap here of £11m is currently covered by book assets of £31m. The company has stated that it will make a loss this year and is writing down £14m intangibles etc but £31m-£14m=£17m. That leaves £6m scope for loss without eroding assets. The outlook here looks a lot more encouraging after the exclusive contract with Shell to supply hydrogen tanks, the shift to green energy and the unshacking of the realisation team post lockdown. Interesting.

RIP to the gent who died in 2015.
Take that fine and move on.
Trial proceedings have concluded and the jury has delivered a guilty verdict pursuant to Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for 9 December 2019 and the Company expects that the penalty will be determined at that time.
................big unknown now is the financial penalty and the reputational damage.
it didn't mention the H+S case currently being undertaken. As long as investors are investing in the knowledge of that alongside the update of the 21st which made no mention of it.

Getting a mention on Vox pods
Someone has got wind of the fact that the Greenlane deal is in the bag! With this millstone out of the way, Pres will return to its roots and be a specialist engineer making nice, healthy cash profits - hopefully.

About time some blue.
Some big trades today, maybe Capital financial?
I see pressure technologies are in some of capital financial’s portfolios as of October 2018. Shares may have to be dumped on the market if they still hold them.
Some speculation on that and the lowly sp.
meet says hold an cumuleerrlate
Sorry, ignore me, I got confused over the figures here.
Hey Worzel, can you help me understand why sp was over 8 in 2014. What changed?
