It is my understanding that the preferred path is thru Debt rather than Equity financing. Given our Chairmans experience in Finance and the SWF's participation it should not be too hard to put together a consortium of Financiers, the one possible impediment may be the relatively small amount of Capex required ?
If we can keep the Register at around 200M shares there is potential for the EPS to be around 20-30p, which would translate to a SP of at least GBP 3-5 The only current REE producer (ASX:LYC) is now trading at a PE of 20
Sorry about previous message, it got posted before completion. Me too, a few people bought these at much lower prices on ASX, no doubt they are now offloading as the LSE price is higher.
It is an interesting Company though. I understand the demand from EV's and Windfarms but Angola (and the Angolan Sovereign Wealth Fund) plus a couple of years before any revenue is due makes me feel that the shareprice might take a while to warm up.

On my watchlist, going to wait for dust to settle before buying, oh and that spread needs to narrow too.
Yes, I've glanced at the website before and it does look a well planned project with lots of potential upside. I've found prospectuses very useful in the past as they have to be passed by "competent persons". I'm familiar with them from BKY's main market listing in London and on the Spanish Bolsa. It's refreshing to see a project that's relatively free from the political risk such as that suffered in Spain. I'll quite possibly be on board sooner rather than later .
I note that there is a requirement for working capital of A$76.2m needed at the end of the year to commence production at Longonjo. Perhaps PA will use a similar path to obtain funding as he did with SGRF at BKY? Having no debt at present is also a big plus.
Hi Brox. As with all prospectuses, it is a liability document first and foremost and a marketing document only second. From what I can see and understand, this is a very well thought through project, meaning that the whole exercise is being managed several steps ahead of what is immediately visible. I expect there to be regular news flow and I reckon they are well advanced with funding discussions. The amount needed is not actually that huge in relation to the value at stake. The price will take a day or two to eliminate the arbitrage with ASX but I reckon the sooner you get comfortable, the happier you will be in the end. GLA
There's obviously the big question of how this project is going to be financed - a par value of 0.1p per share allows for large amounts of dilution. PA's legacy of the SGRF financing for BKY suggests that down the line this could be done on advantageous therms for shareholders however. The $7.5m investment from the Angolan sovereign wealth fund is undoubtedly a very positive sign.
It's one to watch for me at the moment - bid was around 30p on the LSE at close yesterday, but it's trading at 19p on the ASX as at close this morning.
I'm working my way through the prospectus at the moment; here's a link to a copy from the website. It would be interesting to hear others' views..
