Should say grant news could be in July as decision making is not in the gift of the company.

Dp was a heavy investor in synairgen and made similar trading moves on that stock to myself between July and October 2020. Both of us scored big on that move so his handle name is not what he lives up to with investment practice. I went back in afterwards and remain in synairgen where DP has a token investment and we probably differ where that share is now going. We both have similar trade positions in Rainbow Rare earths although he probably holds more than I do. DP values the stacks as they are on his methodology as proferred by the company CEO and arrived at a value of 400p a share. I used metrics that would be applied if it were a mine like some of the analysts have chosen to do as it was the only logical reason why the share today is only 15p and those figures give a 1 year figure of 30p for Rainbow, 40p at two years going to 60p. Unfortunately DP got upset that I used different numbers as the stacks are post-mined and he is correct on that point. However, until Rainbow earns big monies the analysts will keep using the wrong model as I have, but that is how it is.
As for Pensana, DP has followed all what was published recently on other forums about information not divulged by Pensana at this time. Some of those points were answered and some were not and a few may well be resolved through new innovations that are on-going. I doubt he is invested with Peak and is probably not shorting the stock. The reality is, Pensana have not divulged a lot of information as they know Lynas and Chinese producers may exploit for their benefit. The downside is that we have not got all the investment information at this time. I suspect a lot more information will be made known during the coming months. What is unfair is to just assume the worse scenario as the company is securing its funding through banks when a fair amount of evidence is that more informed sources were happy to continue financing the company as it works up a case to secure financial approval. The next key news will be in July on grant news and whether they were successful in getting some funds to build the Saltend plant.
I really don’t see point in sh*t posting under-researched views on forums of companies you don’t invest in. You must be so bored. Get a life
Hi Fireant, There is nothing wrong with asking questions when you are New to a Stock and are Genuinely interested, But when Trolls and Short Traders start asking questions that are designed to destroy sentiment and have been well and truly addressed numerous times by the Company or are on another Forums. Dumbo outed himself as a Troll last week. Could I suggest that instead of answering his questions we just ignore him ?
DP, you are correct that most African countries have more political risk than developed nations. Not entirely sure that South Africa has none, not with their Guptas experience and previous political leaders. They have a far more developed economy, but that is not the same thing. I have spent the last 20 years working in West Africa, in most, the politely risk is acceptable enough to consider investing and risking capital.
A considerable amount of the worlds resources are concentrated on this continent. The whole world need resources to continue functioning, African countries have few means to support a rapidly growing population. Contrary to popular belief, the majority of these countries have very intelligent and well educated technocrats supporting their elected governments who do care if things work or not. They need these investments and in most cases welcome and support investors. With the proviso that they are good guests in their country
When calculating NPV’s a significant allowance is made for the political risk in the discount factor. I would hope that anyone investing in an African mining venture will have some sense of geopolitics and gone into it with their eyes wide open,
DP regarding the small tax take. Angola SWF has a 23% stake in PENSANA. Giving them 25% royalties on Angola revenue and then the largest share of the profits derived from the end user price. With full transparency on the margins from mine to Saltend factory gate You do make a very valid point though. There are two other RE miners, one with an established trading house as a major shareholder, who cant boast the same. In their cases, i would agree that the host countries need to ensure they get a fair share of the potential profits to be made by the companies exploiting their resources.
For clarity, the tax will be based on the Pensana Angola operation revenue as based on the established transfer price. I believe in a previous post you alluded to a number of about 20% of the final product price. Which my maths makes about 4%
OH dear Dumbo, one of my sources has just fingered you as being a Peak Investor, no wonder you are upset. I can now see why you of all people should be concerned: But it still does not excuse you !
Peak has more than enough issues for you to be concerned about, I suggest you try to fix your own problems rather than make fallacious comment here; it really is rather bad sportsmanship to try and trip up your opponent in any race.
1) Four years on and they are still waiting for an ML
2) Shipping your (admittedly low level but still concentrated Th & U) to Teeside
3) No supportive Government to back you, in fact Tanzania is going to screw you for every $ they can
4) Little or no Infrastructure in place, hundreds of miles of road to an East African Port
5) Distinct lack of Expertise, All your experienced operators have left to join Pensana (and be justly rewarded).
Good find Mumbles, there was no way that the FT would have authored it.
Dumbo, Just because you did not write that crap does not mean you and anybody who reprints it could be found liable
You are clearly unhappy to see Pensana succeed where others are failing, which is fair enough if your interest lies with another Company, There is one simple remedy to your dilema, sell out of LYC,RBW,MKA or whoever and put that money into PRE. Other than that, I suggest that you question your own motives.

according to this, thorium is a usuable additive, for multiple products.
and nothing to be worried about, radio activity wise..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorium
well, ime sure if there was any kind of radioctive isotope,in the ore body...over the legal requirement
government /comp legal requirements, would have found it,other than a poster,on the ft chatroom.
DP I've found your FT comment, its in the comments in this article published in the FT 0n the 25th January. https://www.ft.com/content/80961cbe-53ee-4a9b-86dc-00b7ac7b79c2#comments-anchor apologies to those who can't get through the pay wall.
it is buried 1/2 way down in the 72 comments, from an anonymous contributor who called himself Minerologigist. i guess you knew it was there (is it you?) . Doesn't seem to state any sources for the data contained therein.
regarding the DFS, for the basket price. it is in the Pensana website in the archives. I found it, I'm sure you can f you look hard enough. I'm done trying to make an argument for some one who obviously has an agenda other than trying to establish the facts.
You have also failed to provide a proper reference, Your supposedly copied post is most certainly not from FT.com, the Financial Times is a highly reputable publication with a building full of Lawyers to vet any articles for Libelous comment.
As far as Radioactivity is concerned there are several studies done by Oak Ridge (Real experts) that have shown that the levels in Open-cut mines similar to Longonjo are about 1/10th of the WHO acceptable limits. So long as the Radioneuculids are not concentrated (Lynas) they present no issues at all.
Now I suggest you either retract that FT statement before Pensana's Lawyers drag you before the Courts
You really are very well named, Try reading previous discussion before raising Old and worn out arguments. Or perhaps you have and have just moved Forum: If so here is my previous response to a similar claim by a another Dump punter I call Shed, not you by any chance ?
We have had this discussion before, First off, the average Th grade at LJ is about 750ppm not 850, and the stated head grade for at least the first five years operations will be 0.61% not 0.325% ! But that makes little difference as it is immaterial to where the Thorium ends up.
So you are claiming that is ONLY the NdPr is associated with the Thorium, ? WRONG You will find that at both mines the Th is spread throughout the Ore body and is even found in the contained Waste,
Now Lynas don't seem to advertise their mining rate, but they do say that they send 20kt pa of Concentrate to Malaysia ~ so assuming a mining rate of 500ktpa of Ore containing 700ppm Thorium. Then put that thru your Mt Weld concentrator and you end up with 20,000t of Concentrate containing 350t of Thorium which you ship off to dump in Malaysia. Where it has now caused such a stir that Lynas is now at possibly RISK of a Class Action. I assume you read my Post on AID before it was moderated ?
Any idea what the Total cost of this Fiasco might be ?, Move to Kal, considerable CAPEX, increased OPEX. no wonder Management are always making Provision for some FU or other and that Dividends are but a dream for your Shareholders.
Where as, at Longonjo they will mine and process three times as much Ore (hardly any waste) containing about 900t of Thorium.
However this is where the difference comes in, Pensana then removes all of that Thorium and Uranium in the concentration process to then mixed back in with the 1.5Mt tailings and dispose of it back into the dumps, End result ~ almost no change to the current status of the Environment

RE: SharesToday 10:15
DP in response to the concerns regarding Radionucleides,. Pensana response to the queries raised during the Saltend planning process was that there would be none.it is possible they were being less than truthful, but that is extremely unlikely and potentially extremely prejudicial to the authors career prospects, and potentially freedom if that was the case . I’m sure the controls by the Health and safety executive will be extremely diligent on this aspects. I have included a link of Pensanas response https://newplanningaccess.eastriding.gov.uk/newplanningaccess/files/9D737F06AE49BB1AB834F1C53A1853AF/pdf/21_00153_CM-RESPONSE_FROM_APPLICANT_REGARDING_GROUNDS_OF_OBJECTION_AND_CONCERNS_RAISED-3965794.pdf
Dumbo, You already outed yourself as a down ramper, Why are you insulting everybody by still thinking we will listen to a word that you say ? You will find the answers to most questions you can dream up in a reply I gave another Dumb punter on HC:
Eddie, please read and TRY to understand, if not get the Chemist to explain it to you.
Firstly: Why would Pensana stick to the 'Typical Processing Route', It is that is which got Lynas into all their troubles in the first place !
,All of your questions are ancient and have been well and truly put to bed by several posters, but seeing as you are a bit slow on the uptake, I will tell you once again..
1) That is a Standard statement for any Company in Development, (But you may want to ask it again on Monday).
The same could be asked of LYC Do they have sufficient funds in the Bank to fund the move AND meet future possible Legal costs ?
2) Please explain High Risk, Angola and the UK have welcomed Pensana with open arms, while Malaysia is currently telling LYC to FO;
3) Reference to a single sample, in reality the averages are similar to LYC's, The Big point is that LYC concentrate their U & Th and ships it off to be dumped in another country !
So what is to like, about Pensana ? A tightly held ~ 200M share registry, Possibly the biggest NdPr Resource currently in development, Two host Governments that are highly supportive, Well developed Infrastructure already in place, Very experienced Financial and Operational Management, Relatively short and secure shipping route, About as far away from China as you can get. the list is endless
But what I like most of all, Is that I purchased my Shares at an average of $0.20 and now expect to sell some at $20 in about 2-3 years time, So I already have a 10 bagger which is going to be a 100 Bagger
Hear hear "reallymental" ,excellent first post:)
Stick with this, you will make good money and it is a great first investment (with the exception of Hamilton's involvement!!).
Pensana is the first company I've ever invested in. I wonder how such blatant market manipulation is even legal. HamiltonEngineering if you are reading this, GO **** YOURSELF! I hope you and your ilk die a painful and miserable death.
Fireant-just so you are aware, this is a very decent Board with some really excellent LTHs and posters.PRE shares have however, been subjected to an aggressive and concerted short attack by a bank prop book or hedge fund represented on ADVFN chat as HamiltonEngineering. He also occasionally appears on LSE as CityMiner. The more experienced realise that his arguments are completely unsubstantiated, often blatant lies and in my opinion his market/company knowledge leaves a lot to be desired. However, his operation has shorted a lot of shares and spooked out many of our looser, more inexperienced holders.I give you this background incase you wonder why some of our replies were a bit curt.Anyway your history shows you to be completely genuine, so welcome as a shareholder and any further questions fire away.
