Agree with GRH, I'm sat patiently.
I hold 1mil shares. The drop from 22p to 14p is a paper loss of £80k for me. At 22p I was up £190k. For some on here it's even greater, yet we're the calm ones. Admittedly most would sell for those returns, probably why they don't see those returns themselves.
I've said this before, invest based on your convictions, you'll sleep better at night.
FYI I've been her since ipo. This is the most exciting time in the companies history. Ef the fundraising.
Hi HT,
I hope you are well. And I do understand your frustration around the placing.
FWIW, I do not actually think the placing was mainly responsible for the SP challenges of late (I view the short term movements are irrelevant anyway) - though the way it was done may not have helped.
I suspect that, because this is a pretty tightly held stock, we are seeing untoward amplification - at the moment to the negative but a couple of weeks ago to the positive (when it zoomed up to 22p).
These things are part of the journey and we will likely see more of them as PRD moves forward.
There is nothing I have seen that should have caused a fall in the SP. In fact, my view was that the RNS might have led to an uptick (the dog in the park agrees with me and is also a little befuddled by it).
So, on small volumes, we are seeing amplified delta (difference). On the sell-side (which would appear to be the cycle we are currently in), there is not the support of big buying pressure (because virtually no-one outside this BB knows about or understands this company), so the negative delta is not especially pretty.
When any positive news comes in (as I expect it will), the delta amplificiation to the positive could be massive. Precisely because of the tightly held nature of the stock (small free float).
It works both ways and, FWIW, I am not worried about these SP movements.
The only thing that matters is VALUE - and I can see no information in the public domain of late that should have changed an assessment of what that value might be.
Hi Hull
Good for you!
The point remains...
re share price being very different to shareholder value

You back then Nige.. you know what.. no one likes a show off or for that matter an arrogant prikk . Can’t wait for you to call the lottery numbers. Or shall we forget the numbers and use some letters instead… PRD any good Nige?
Hi GRH I now to your greater knowledge in these matters. However as I have stated on these BBs ,instead of registering with the Broker,I sell part of my holdings on the announcement and buy back as it reaches the placing price. It usually works for me and with PRD it has not only allowed me to gain more shares but given me a near free holding.
My error, more like just under 4 hours in calling the placing...
"Rights Issue, Open Offer, Placing 04 Jun 2021 08:45
A window of opportunity is now available to fund what the colossal licence area needs and what Predator cannot afford (unless they gamble on MOU-1 well results). It is now feasible to fundraise, with certain constraints due main market listing, to invest in 3D seismic and three further exploration wells".
Hulltiger I called the placing on the day of the RNS, fairly obvious that PRD needed money, drilling is horribly expensive and subject to a number of technical and geological risks therefore it was logical for the company to mitigate such risks by replacing and caching money in advance.
In the duster case and with a <10p share price at best a placing would have been extremely dilutive.
TBH not expecting to have called the fundraising a couple of hours max before it happened but sometime within a few days!
Hull
sorry
I disagree
Your post conflates 'shareholder value' with 'share price'...
they are not even remotely the same thing
The former is permanent
the latter is fleeting
I trust PG (who has a lot more shares than I do) NOT to dilute the value of his own equity
I am merely sitting quietly

Yet again our beloved Broker has raised in the scheme of things, a small amount of money for the company. In doing so they have destroyed share holder value, far beyond the dilution caused and pocketed a very tidy sum for doing so.
In my opinion the financial boards who oversee this bottom end of the market, need to have a look and create a more open and fairer system that all companies have to adhere too.
As I have said many times moving forward the company must be very careful in the appointment of a Broker/Nomad
