Yeah cheers Wacky. It may seem very rich from someone who invests in o & g but I'm otherwise a bit of an eco warrior, I don't drive, cycle everywhere, have a war in my house on plastic etc.
If we can make money and do the planet a favour at the same time, it's very good karma. I have a vegan daughter who refused to touch o & g shares
until she read up on PRD and has given them the benefit of the doubt. As Malcy said, we are the
o & g Greta share so it's an investment that let's me sleep well.
Morning Nic,
Absolutely agree 100%
I know I keep banging on about CO2 and Trinidad whereas Morocco if successful will make more money initially but IMO without a successful CO2 outcome, all of our projects will be worth a lot less.
And more importantly it could be the saviour of the planet in which we reside.
Looking forward to today.

Wacky
It looks almost too good to be true. Oil is used to produce hydrogen, hydrogen is used to produce blue ammonia which can be used in CO2 sequestration.
We have oil, we have a partner that produces ammonia and we are big into CO2 sequestration technology. It's something to consider as we are already out of the starting blocks.
Morning all,
I posted this a while back but no one picked up on it.
https://www.equinor.com/en/news/2020-01-23-viking-energy.html
As known shipping is the biggest contributor to green house gas emissions, so to have ammonia powered ships makes perfect sense.
Also Equinor attended the Cerm project briefings and have links to the ammonia plants in Trinidad through Norsk Hydro and of course the last bit which I found rather interesting, Equinor run 50% of Corrib.
That could be a way out for the greens in Ireland to give the go ahead for Ram head.
Just a thought.

Wacky.
Interesting NICODEMUS63,....first I had heard of blue ammonia;-
Headline:
"Saudi Aramco ships blue ammonia to Japan for zero-carbon power."

Blue ammonia is a new one on me Nicodemus63 .....I need to do some reading :)
I wonder how this fits with the Cerm Project.
http://www.thecermproject.com/home/overview-of-the-cerm-project
Just thinking aloud here but the latest big word in green energy is blue amonia.
As things stand will will be getting CO2 from Massey an ammonia producer, to produce oil.
Blue ammonia can be obtained from oil and captures c02 and produces hydrogen.
Not sure if PRD are going to be having anything to do with blue ammonia but I can see in theory a very clean cycle of CO2 capture and reuse to.produce more oil, to produce more blue ammonia to capture more CO2.
I'm sure our bod will be aware of blue ammonia as we are 'The Greta Stock' as Malcy puts it , we are in partnership with a major producer of ammonia, we use their mmonia's co2 for EOR.
This would be at the vanguard of world beating eco energy technology, surely we can't be looking that big? Just a thought.
I'd be happy for them to be panicked into allowing Corrib south or Rams head to be drilled under predators licences, but LNG is a very plan B from Paul.
A real political tightrope to be walked here, every savvy businessman needs to be a wily political beasts well and I believe Psul G is the man..
We don't want the Irish panicked enough to reconsider the shut down of Corrib and Shannon. We do however want them to be very concerned, so to start urgently looking at acceptable alternatives. Of course, even non fracked LNG is Satan's breath as far as the hard eco greenies go. He's has to play the compromise, best transition fuel card and play it well. Will help if whichever POTUS is banging the same drum and attacking fracking but not conventional gas.
Agree Nic the long game in Ireland will be interesting to watch. Ofgem fanning the flames in PRDs favour too

Ah well Tesla, plenty other stuff going on for them to chat about, co2 eor, Morocco drill, Conco, Ireland. That was a great Bloomberg article someone posted this morning about Ireland and importing fracked gas being a real no,no. The Irish are deadly serious about this, a very acrimonious Brexit divorce is on the cards, with Ireland centre stage. PRD really are in standing in the right place to take advantage at one of the most pivotal times in the UK's history.
Without an RNS it could be a very difficult interview 2mrw if Malcy asks about FRAM. Paul might have to go no comment. If he says the option has expired, that's sp sensitive and if he says negotiations are continuing that suggests the option has been extended, which is also sp sensitive...
After hours would be bad............!
perhaps tomorrow......... :)
All the best (an good luck :)
sadly still waiting for the lesser spotted great crested RNS :)
PRD aren't shy of releasing a mid day RNS out MEM..........!
now that funding has been announced on BPC, perhaps a mid afternoon RNS is in order ref FRAM...........!
All the best (our Koot will do you a deal...........fosho...... :()
No RNS, you have to consider the most likely position, talks continue re Purchase Option with BPC.
So much news to come, the only issue, Timing of said news
