If you have successfully avoided reading my post of 20 Dec 2011...and why wouldn't you!!!
It is still available...it attempts to be informative
It has been reposted on here by a couple of kind people of an intellectually /technically enquiring disposition
Remote survey, successful and experienced investor, keen champion of the PRD story, breadcrumb trail …… ;-)
GRH Thankyou yet again. “ to very accurately identify Hydrocarbon energy levels “. Remotely into the bargain. Now that is an astonishing advantage !!
Good post by MEM...
I was going to try to follow up on it...
did some drafting...and decided the options might now be too numerous to cover!
Very informative post Kasjnaton...thank you
FandM...your view (as to which technology for which output) is basically correct
IE...deploy RSDD-H to VERY accurately identify hydrocarbon ENERGY levels ...
do so fully remotely!
Then use limited 3D to confirm structural presence
This is all covered in more detail in my post of 20 December 2011...
which ...again... history has proved to be 100% correct ...every single drill correctly forecast
Hi FandM, it was Absolutely no problem at all to put that post up. Just happy to see that the information contained within has been of value to some people.
Good evening everyone, have to side with Nigel about the fake screen name, company is coming up to a really important few months and last thing we need is new investors being confronted by fake names etc on what is normally a good Bb...can also understand Mem frustration and "walking away" until some news appears, was pleasantly surprised with tick up today and hoping for a lot more in next fortnight with new company presentation and q and a with Graham/lonny.....
Little bit i've been wondering about and hopefully some of our excellent researchers can enlighten me/others on this......the 3d survey is planned for q3/q4 next year ....a fair chunk of cash to throw about, this will be well after mou4 is drilled, so can i assume( i know assume makes an ass out of you and me) that Pg is ridiculously confident about mou4 to enable us to spend that much?also thought that 3d would be better to test mou4 location or is it for future drills? bear in mind that by then if mou4 is a success, then we should be well on our way to first gas delivery....so Pg / lonny will have a lot going on in a short space of time....
Please just leave now. You have a chance to leave with a tiny amount of grace, but that is almost gone. So answer the question from GRH, or leave..... and for those of you who don’t know what the question is, here it is AGAIN:
you did claim relevant experience a while ago ...
and you were kindly going to set out for the BB what you have achieved
either in the markets
or of course within E&P itself
Despite a reminder having been posted, I don' t recall seeing your note on that...
The last post was pure deceit, some fool (brainless deramper) using my bb name.
The last post was pure deceit, some fool (brainless ramper) using my bb name.
What I mean is that MOU-1 was a discovery and hot on its heels will come MOU-4 & 5, hopefully proving up our turbidite fan structure.
PRD is burning through its money (not ours as retraded shares do not go into the company coffers!) but the wee man clearly has a cunning funding strategy.
Exciting times ahead as we continue to create more VALUE.
Looking forward to the uptick in share price following the next 6-12mo timeline!
HSI is a screening tool only, useful for evaluating regional geology. 3D seismology is infinitely more diagnostic: particularly when calibrated by well data...
The drill bit decides everything though, Griffiths needs a solid discovery at MOU-4 or we are approaching the end game...
Think of PRD as a drilling company hoovering up your money, thats what I do with infant oilers...
Very helpful Kas . My idiots view was seismic for rock types, depths and shapes followed by the good stuff for EM indicators in organic and inorganic materials that reveal at least an interesting level of the hydrocarbons we’re after. All deciphered by AI , historic records and miners nose :)). Clearly not that simple !! Thanks for the info.
As the subject of RSDD-H has been brought up, with some people showing some interest in the technology I thought it worthwhile to repost some links to articles on the subject of hyperspectral imaging which I had found previously, please see those links below;
https://www.dlr.de/dlr/en/Portaldata/1/Resources/documents/2013/Erdbeobachtung_280313_web_72dpi.pdf (Specifically page 51)
My knowledge on seismic and RSDD-H is very limited, however I think the following is a simple analogy that may be of use;
Imagine a cube, and within that cube there are spheres.
The size of the cube along with the size and number of spheres is entirely up to your imagination.
Seismic is able to identify the location of all of those spheres, aka seismic anomolies or bright spots, however it cannot, for the purposes of a hydrocarbon discovery tell which ones, if drilled, will be a discovery or a duster.
RSDD-H is able to map the surface of the cube and therefore give the location for a drill but it does not tell you how deep to drill.
It is therefore a combination of both siesmic and RSDD-H which reduces risk of drilling a duster and thereby increases the chances for a succesful drill.
Very clever stuff !!
Of course …
RSDD-H had correctly identified/called every Sound drill correctly
It was a 100% success rate
but BY NO MEANS UNUSUAL for RSDD-H
Prior to drills at Tendrara, the tech had also wholly correctly forecast the result for the Badile 1 drill in Italy
I was with my associate in the boardroom in Sevenoaks (where I happen to live)
when BM (who I have a lot of time for)
asked for the tech view on Badile
it was provided there and then with more detail provided later
Whilst no confidentiality agreement was entered into
I hope you will understand
when I say that I don’t want to go into much detail…
due to reasons of common courtesy
I am not on this BB to talk about the technology
But suffice to say …
those who know me, know of my own views
and of the resoundingly successful results I have witnessed /been party to over many years
I am pleased to say that I count as close friends, the wonderful people behind RSDD-H
Do you mean the £20m of new 3D? Could we start planning drills etc before the whole lot is completed?
If so, I’m really not sure. We might want to see the whole picture first, or if the early surveys picked up something juicy …..
But honestly - well above my pay grade.
AndroclesB. Do you know if the interpretation of seismic feedback is contemporaneous so allowing focus of efforts on an ongoing basis and reducing costs ?
Thank you Adc.
From my knowledge, seismic only gives information about structures that are likely to be oil/gas bearing, not details of porosity etc. Having said that, if you have drilled on a structure and found certain intervals to have good porosity (Mou1?) then if seismic identifies similar structures elsewhere your odds are improving.
As for non-invasive techniques, and biological markers, GRH is your man, and check out
Geological knowledge on a par with my French. Patience please. 3D business. Does it inform of the porosity, permeability and organic matter available for Kerogenisis should historic conditions have allowed it’s occurrence? . Are there organic markers of flora and fauna that might indicate resource presence and so assist drilling focus ?. Are there other non invasive techniques that have had some utility ? Methodology on his excellent Reddit forum comments on our discoveries lack of C02 and H2S condensate. Does this in conjunction with the well pressure’s which so impressed Kieth lower the bar for a profitable well at MOU 1 ? All charitable contributions gratefully received.
Yes...it is a long way from GME and long way from users
The EV is off the scale due to debt
If GL pulls it off ,he will have done well
Obviously I am extremely familiar with their licence areas having called every drill correctly
I do not recall ever having seen a CPR for TE5...
Just 'management estimates'
I might have missed it
But I might not have
The porosity on several of the drills was less than half than prd's
Their permeability on several drills was pretty grim as I recall
Hats off to GL
And there are some good locations within their licences area...for explo drilling
As I told JP and BM many times...over endless coffees
Guercif is a very different ball game!
All in my opinion of course!!!!
From Sound RNS this morning. As GRH will point out Tendrara is relatively stranded compared to Guercif. Looks like the approach to financing shows that Paul’s comments about a gas user financing development is very much viable.
I’ll put my tin underpants and anti BS hat on now
Development of the Tendrara Production Concession
· Advancement of Phase 1 Micro LNG engineering and commercial gas sales contracts
o Post period execution of conditional LNG sales agreement with Afriquia Gaz
o The agreement covers a 10 year Take or Pay liquefied natural gas sale and purchase at Tendrara
