Says will sell natural gas at average price of USD3.52 per metric million British thermal unit between May to September, compared to USD1.35 in prior year.
Echo have indicated better demand and gas prices this morning hopefully good for PPC
AParky I think we are already at the value appreciation stage , just got to let a few more stale bulls sell out and we will be good to go. Having watched how this moves when we get a couple of higher volume days i believe most stock is in sticky hands.
" Robust Group net 2P reserves of over 24 MMboe as at the year end with additional 9 MMboe of 2C contingent resources convertible to reserves on licence extensions" And this before we start
" Later in H2, there is a planned 3D seismic data acquisition programme over a formerly prolific Canada Grande field within the Puesto Guardian Concession, Salta Province to find new well locations to target and drill the productive A6 sand there. An initial land survey by potential contractors is currently underway. The best wells in Canada Grande produced initially as much as 1,000 boepd"
If the chance of another successful gas well drilled and the news of a farm out deal doesn't move the sp up over the next two weeks we are in for a long long wait for it to ever happen.
Either a major lift in earnings or a massive find in Paraguay.
Now must be time for PPC to gain some much needed interest from investors, ten trading days till end of month and news on Paraguay Farm Out. Really hope for a mid day RNS to make it a little more exciting IMO .
Drilling Update RNS - President's H1 2021 drilling campaign in Rio Negro, Argentina progresses. EV-1001 well at Estancia Vieja field now spudded ahead of schedule.
Update on twitter.
Not a clue comeonvog, would have to go back over rns list to get a ball park, never gives himself free shares though like most ceo's maybe not but does pick them up through his discounted loan :)
AParky Thks for high lighting about the CGC subs, will be watching with interest ;-) . I wonder if you have any idea how much PL has stashed away over the years from the interest, or are we to feel sorry for him as a main share holder and down on his investment's . ( But not forgetting the subscription last year looks after him self at all times ) .
True we have moved forward in the last couple of years without much improvement in the sp, as comeonvog says PL has a lot to do before he can right the wrongs and justify the dilution and the interest he has made over the years.
Just seems a little coincidental that the farm out news was pushed back and is now due a week after CGC subscription, now if the news of a farm out and well results came out next week before Fridays mid market price, which is the deadline for CGC and sets the price I would have to eat humble pie.
Agree in terms of the company enhancing newsflow, given this its in the company interests to announce asap, particularly ahead of any subscription. The issuance of shares has typically accompanied a programme or acquisition.
I've been an investor since Paraguay the first time round and I am the most optimistic I have been as a holder.
Just hoping the coming months more than justify my more recent confidence and purchases.
The_Doc Peter L has much to prove to the market, after years of issuing share like confetti with little regard/respect towards investors let's not give him to much credit just yet. Now after saying that and my rather negative posts , we are moving into a rich vain of company enhancing new flow. Only 11 days for conformation on our Paraguay Farm out and with strong POO should bring interest.
AParky rec and agreed your last post.
No you can't hold back news flow your quite right Doc but you can hold back gas flow testing until your ready to release the news.
No it doesn't help the company but if they are investing a wodge of cash it does, example traffigura.
Parky, you cant just hold back newsflow. If there was something to announce yet then it would be.
It doesnt serve the company to give CGC cheap stock.
We could get news anytime but my bet is its being held back for a reason, either the well isn't performing as expected or its being held back until after CGC have bought their final tranche of subscription shares. Mates rates.
Would expect operation update soon.
