Taken a few more again late into trading - might be totally wrong on this position, but happy to wait until the end of year and review - hopefully at my buy prices they will look okay approaching the end of this year.
I wonder if US is back on line yet?
Picked up a few more shares today - this MC value is crazy when you look at ATOM Value and approx yearly turnover of $40m in Argentina, plus USA sales/pofit, plus Paraguay drill (maybe delayed but not confirmed as yet!)) plus farm out, plus Greenhouse/Lithium
I will keep adding at these prices as Im sure at some point this will turn!
Dutch TTF benchmark gas futures (TTFMU2) has opened 5% higher at €231/MWh, around 15 times higher than the long-term average,
I do find it odd that Steven49 has sold out and yet continues to spend his time on this board complaining about the Argentine economy as if trying to justify his decision. Yes, this share hasn't performed as many of us have hoped but there are still positives out there.
I thought you would have been better searching for somewhere to invest your funds rather than adding negativity to the board.

Argentina's central bank has raised its main rate of interest to 69.5% as it tries to contain soaring inflation.
The bank put up its 28-day benchmark rate by 9.5% percentage points, its second hike in as many months new figures showed inflation in the country had hit a 20-year high of over 70%.
we have extra production hitting the bottom line in H2.
There is also the drilling in.Paraguay which we haven't had too many updates on of late - hopefully news soon and that all is still in track in Paraguay. Must admit I feel a bit annoyed about Paraguay - PL said they had definitely got it right this time - then a cos of 17% was quoted and OK is stepping away from.President to focus more on the new group and possible deals. Just hope we get a better result in Paraguay than that 17% suggests all imho.
Than there is a farm.out of the gas field - again hopefully that can move forward successfully.
So, by the end of the year we might get a much better sp but the uncertainty 're President Energy in terms of future strategy gives me a cause for concern. In my eyes it would be good if they could diversify - use some of that revenue to get further production via other acquisitions and keep.using that strategy. Gerry the right assets at the right price can transform.a company - other companies have done this and OK is supposed to be good at deals. This night sound a bit of a rant but having been invested in this company for some years now I just want to see it better.
Will also be interesting to see how the new strategy works 're Atome and lithium but that is going to take a while to come to fruition. Time will tell.

Lol there fairly good results actually, no copy paste G L do some research on argentina
I think steven49 has 3 or 4 stock posts that he simply copies and re-pastes here. If I had a pound for every time he posts "seller still selling", I'd be rich. Alas, I probably won't get rich holding President either, but the Argentina results are not bad at all.
Seem to be very good results re turnover/profit with more to come from Salta in H2 plus US sales/profit to add to these figures- plenty going on with PPC but so unloved by the market. Can see the seller coming in again once the initial rise first thing started to slow down - all very strange and feel PPC is being played.
Still not sure/clear why they needed that recent bond and no mention in PL comments re Paraguay drill which may mean the drill won't happen this year as planned (which is what most were expecting anyway)
Very happy with my investment here so far (not price of course but fundamentals seem strong), just not sure what it will take to bring new investors/traders in other than the drill in Q4/Q1/Q2 who knows when...
:)
i bet you're glad you got out...you smart investor !!!
Think argentina been big mistake investment wise, 64% inflation and rising, economys in terrible state, poverty high, uninvestable
Dog of a share
Just like clockwork - a few purchases of 250k and sold into very soon afterwards - it just feels a little planned to me but this is the stock market and anything can happen I guess!
Constant drip feeding sells, gone on 4 years.
The announcement on 25th July said pretty much that President had failed to achieve Shareholder value and is going to try a complete change of direction to help improve things by;
1. Peter Levine, is stepping down as CEO, before the end of Q1 2023. He will step back from his current broader role in the Group to focus on developing the Green House.
2. Within the next few months, the Group will rebrand and change it's name from President Energy to something else.
3. Also there will be a share consolidation to move away from the penny/micro share image
If the same consolidation is 100/1 then maybe I will get to see the new rebranded PPC shares trading at £1+. I had always hoped PPC shares would one day be worth £1+ but this alas was not the way that I (or my bank manager) had hoped for it to happen. Still after all these years of failures, PPC does have a decent core business, and perhaps with a fresh start, fresh management, a change of name and a change of luck it could turn out alright. I would say I wouldn't bet on it, except that I already have .... d'oh! D'oh! D'oh!
I don’t know what is wrong but Ppc is worth more than the current SP, but the market clearly has a different view. I can’t get my head around what it is, is it the company or PL?
Something needs to change as clearly it’s not working.
Being a US Dollar based business insulates President to a material degree from the high inflation unfortunately suffered in Argentina at present and careful management of Peso balances is being exercised to mitigate exposure.
keep posting your negativity steven !!!!
inflation running at 64 percent in the past twelve months and consulting firms forecasting it could hit 90 percent by the end of the year,
4 lot of investors who been in 4 many years have heavy losses and only natural too be negative too P L HE IS CEO, looked more promising today, sea blue and up 6% GL
I remain invested because I trust Peter Levine.
I am from now on going to ignore the bulletin boards.
Why people who claim not to be invested here post comments, I don't understand, unless its fomo.
Why people who claim to be invested here but are vitriolic towards PL I also don't understand. If you don't like the man or the company then sell.
I have a reasonably substantial investment in President and Atome and look forward to the new strategy and future with confidence.
Regards
Dill
There'# a lot if **** to stir
Assuming they had to put out an RNS due to the retirement of Martin U. The additional detail provided was a little ambiguous and very specific on certain areas and not mentioning others. I think PL is playing a little game with the ongoing seller that is out there! Ironically, they are all buys this morning so far, at the time of writing.
Would've been nice to know how many barrels were sold in July at Market prices at US$105.8 - over 50% more than the Argentina barrel price!
I wouldn't say it was a good or bad RNS - so waiting for a more comprehensive update - hopefully when this seller has finally moved on!
....smoke and mirrors b/**** !!!
eg ..
''To maintain and enhance production in Louisiana a gas lift system is currently being installed and implemented with wells expected to be fully operational again in August.''
So how operational is this now ?... and for how long have they been/ will they be at this level of restricted operations ? .. is that end Aug or beg Aug.. etc..? maybe even zero production there for a month or six weeks etc during this install ? .. who knows..
The points brasso makes about the debt grow out here just cannot be ignored by the happy clappers: It's SHOCKING, full stop..
Those three new wells are text book ppc.l.. well over bugeted cost and well under expected production levels.. that is what seemingly happens endlessly as the norm at ppc.l.. then you layer on top seemingly endless outages/breaks and then you layer on top the fixes costs for these.. eg another fix in lousiana not long after the last - huge - one etc..
In answer to NM's q: i've given up on this being 'investible' years ago..,, and I've all but given up on this being range trade bettable now too.... although if you can get a very very low enough average versus the field you've generally got some sort of chance of a range trade bet..so a few k at 1 odd p average is a bet i'd kinda still consider having a go at here.. (i've got 2k at 1.5 ish currently .. might another a 1 or more K on top if this goes to 1p ish )
Yes disapointing, poor trading update and nothing on Paraguay, positives r sellers look exhausted
