1 week ago all was sweetness and light.
A bad week generally and its doom and gloom!
Either invest in Pow and let the process run or quit for something safer.
Ignore Ayatollah bin later!
Have a nice glass of wine!
I will ask him again, but I know he will not answer....
Ayatollah, are you invested in POW ? YES or NO ?
absolutely warped
aya - I live in a 2-bed run- down semi on the wrong side of town, drive a 15year old Honda, holiday in Switzerland, send my grandchildren to a very expensive school, sit on the local council, and do a bit of gardening. I have a pathological dislike of people who sit on their aaases, moan and groan, blame everyone and anyone but themselves but do nothing to change anything. If you asked them to they would run a mile. And of course make ill founded and abusive criticisms of people they know nothing about just because they are losing money in the AIM casino.
Aquae, totally understand everything you have written and for the record I like PJ, heās one of the reasons I bought in but Iām always conscious of movement and growth within the company. Not the growth thatās based on hype, we need concrete results before I can fully relax.
Agreed. I think BTC has distracted from metals and is only just dying down. Minign year is only getting underway. Results are due. Corporate actions are promised. To be complaining now is a bit infantile until there's been chance to execute. The new acquisitions have been a big boost no-one really expected. PJ is professional but personable and has a good track record. No one thinks he is the messiah just that he's doing what CEO's should really and giving us all the best chance.
I think the warrants in hindsight have been overdone and more should have been at a higher price but still no debt and cash to spend could be worse. Victim of success partly but could have kept the lights on longer if things had struggled in the market more.
Dean fair to say there is a split between those who consider PJ to be The Messiah and those who think he is just a Very Naughty Boy; the answer lies somewhere in between. What we do know is that PJ has invested a lot of his own money in the company, has added further to his holding at a time when he could have exercised his warrants at below market price instead, and is not afraid to make hard decisions to write off an inherited asset that he feels carries to much risk v reward.
There have been setbacks such as the weather impacted Canadian Silver exploration and there have also been delays and issues with the Molopo Farm drill and core logging, but across the Portfolio projects that have lain dormant with partners for months and years are now being progressed at pace.
The assay results for both Molopo Farms and Haneti should both be available before the end of March so not too long to wait and April will see a resumption of the Canadian Silver Mine exploration, and work to float RRAS on the North American exchange is underway.
One thig is for sure, PJ is a Chartered Accountant by trade and does not like to see money wasted; especially his own so unless project after project starts to disappoint, suggest you cut him some slack for now.
PT Iām making a point about being sensible when it comes to investments. Iām not a blowhard by any stretch but people acting as if I donāt know what Iām taking about or how to work my way around mining companies and AIM or the FTSE for that matter is just damn right disrespectful.
We all have strategies and reasons when investing and just because I am not happy with the current situation within the company i AM invested in, others tend to bash and judge me. I am happy with several aspects of pow, however, there are parts that need action before you lose the spark itās built up the past year.
History tells us nothing lasts forever. Just look at VAST as an example. Promising, promising, accumulating new assets, copper, diamonds etc, but couldnāt get a winner even though it was written in the stars. Now they have a small production of copper at BP but no one will touch it.
You have to ask yourself, why are you invested? Is it to sit losing money for 1-5 years or as a SH are you looking for returns on your investment as part or a risk and reward strategy?
Clown is what I think but I'm arrogant & inexperienced.

" if I could show you how much Iāve made in aviation and pharma since the start of the pandemic it would make your eyes water (not boasting before you have a go)."
Sorry but I've got to ask what everybody else is now thinking: If that isn't "boasting" then what are you doing?
what a happy board we have
Wiltshire, you can stop the condescending approach on the way you type to people, Iām not a child so stop speaking down to me. Iāve also been involved in investing a long time, therefore not new at this by any stretch.
Your arrogance comes across as inexperienced yourself, a mr know it all on the basis of your responses. Iāve been involved in mining for a long time previously, but changed direction to aviation and pharma companies when the pandemic hit. During the recessions, itās well known commodities rise as everyone turns to gold and you see the course being played out where it hits highs as peopleās focus on shifting their investments.
However, smart investors donāt follow the heard and if I could show you how much Iāve made in aviation and pharma since the start of the pandemic it would make your eyes water (not boasting before you have a go). Itās way more than gold would have made me throughout the past year and more.
I moved away from oil exploration as this will be worthless in 10-15 years time but my eyes are ears are always open to potential multi baggers in relation to mining which is why I bought in to pow. Several months down the line, through all the rises and pull backs, Iām not too far away from where I averaged up to. Now Iāve been here before in mining. We have all the momentum and it slowly dwindles as we forget the reason we invested in the first place, to make money and discovery of hard assets. Why else are we on AIM?
For you to sit there and tell me Iām not correct when we are waking before we are crawling you are lying to yourself. The bubbles eventually burst, PIs normally get bored and you donāt get years upon years to keep accumulating but not producing the goods.
No discoveries, No production No investment.
Opp_Hunting I see you are very new to LSE (but not to investing) . I read through all your posts today and you have already made a great contribution here , so many thanks for that , and I hope you will keep posting regularly.
There are a lot of nay-sayers appearing here, which happens a lot on LSE when a share has a retrace ( when itās going up loads of rampers appear to tell us itās flying to the moon, so go figure.) I always try to be polite and understanding so Iām not going to judge the glass-half-empty folk , people are worried about their money and an awful lot of people really struggle to cope with a share going down (Iām married to one!) but imo this is an absolute stand out opportunity for potential multi-bagging. It is very much following PJās vision that has me heavily invested here with nearly 4M shares. I am currently 14% down and not in the slightest discouraged. In fact I will be buying more as funds become available. Yes this is high risk but that risk is managed by the spread of projects POW are developing. This kind of small-cap Company isnāt for everyone but for those of us who are looking for something potentially life changing I think we are absolutely in the right place. Lots and lots to look forward to in the months ahead.
you sound pathetic! give over and get on your bike or rubbish car and leave the BB ta
Ayah, but is your track record in the market as good as PJ? That is the important question do you walk the walk as well as talk to talk and how much money have you made?
Remember that POW is not equivalent to just one startup but a multitude of startups under one management - so the chances of a success is much higher given the management experience in this sector. We have still a long way to go in terms of junior resources mining lifecycle which can loosely be defined as below:
Land Bank & Pre-Drilling Exploration --> Drilling Exploration --> Discovery --> Define Mineral Deposit & Resource estimate calculation --> Preliminary Economic assessment --> Pre-Feasibility Study --> Feasibility Study --> Finance & Production plans --> Mine construction -> Mine operational.
We know we are in the first two stages of the above lifecycle.
Now as per my analysis, the best step in the cycle for investors to get into junior mining stock will be the Drilling Exploration stage, during which any half-good news will make the sp run up 5x-7x. Upon completion of each of the above steps successfully, the sp will jump up by 1.5-2x. If the PFS/FS stage throws up positive surprises (multiple by-products on the same mine etc), then expect a bounty. I do not know what the future has in store for POW but this will be the best time (and stage of development) to get into a junior explorer in my opinion (DYOR pls).
Reading between lines in few of PJ's interviews, POW would definitely get larger mining partners/offtake partners involved after PFS/FS stage. I do not think that PJ wants to see be part of the mining story(Develop & run a mine), POW clearly wants to own the exploration space which is high risk and high reward. So all we need is one good set of assay results and faster route to PFS stage on at least a couple of projects here.
I am still very much hopeful on Molopo as well as Haneti. Hopefully PJ is making meaningful bets on the Canadian side, Australian Gold JV has a much higher probability of success given the area and its history. If the sp persists below 3p-3.5p come this April, then I would be certain to top-up on my ISA accounts ;).
We are all aware Rome wasn't built in a day. Patience's required plenty of news to come. One good result and we will all be happy and financially rewarded. Ignore the trolls as they are not invested here but they do appear on very board just weirdo having nothing better to do.
Wow this message board was subdued for a couple of days, looks like it has erupted suddenly today.
Guys, there is no point venting out on message boards, let us all use this board for valuable information sharing and of course for airing genuine concerns.
I have been following Junior resources & early stage BioTech for few years now and they both have similar characteristics wrt business maturity timelines and risk-reward. I have never seen any stock in these sectors rise up 20x in the first few months, these things require time to payoff. There are valid points on both side of the arguments here and I believe people here(msg boarders) hold significant stake (0.1% to 0.5% of total shares outstanding shares) in the company from a retail investor perspective, so perhaps hurts if we have bought into it an average @3.5p and the sp tanking more than 25% . But these are not your typical dividend paying stable businesses... the risk-return profile is essentially like start-ups but with less liquidity risk(i.e., you can enter and exit whenever you like). I would suggest waiting for a few months before deciding to sell as the projects have just about taken off now, still significant news flow to be had in the next 6 months.
I agree to the point that perhaps PJ has given out too many warrants @ 1p and 0.75p (he probably feels the same as us) but remember these were issued to entice HNI's during fund raising especially during a 'not so good times for metals' in general. There was no market recognition for commodities mega cycle back then, so would not be fair too berate PJ for what he did to seed much required capital into the company. On the other side, there are questions on PJ taking on more projects without delivering on previous projects - the way I see it is that PJ did not expect the kind of warrant related cashflows into the company initially but now that he has got excess cash over and above that's required for current projects, he is putting it to good use by choosing new projects carefully. I would say his plan is better than the cash slowly being burnt on excessive salaries of the Board and additional unwarranted headcounts in the company.
I hope he has planned the projects and cash management well for it to last at least to take one of the projects to Feasibility Study stage if the discovery comes good, so that we don't go raising funds and diluting again.
One might argue that the opportunity cost in a seemingly strong bull market in commodities is high since you are missing out on good dividend paying, cashflow rich mining stocks that are going up 30-40%, but that is a personal investment decision to make.
I believe a few of us are in and around Greater London area, so would be great if we can make it to the AGM in March. It will be a really good opportunity to ask questions and clear any doubts.
No point in getting personal on these message boards guys, we are all better than that.
Molopo*
Think everyone needs to exert a little patience here. So what if the warrants drag the price down short term, use it to top up. PJ doing a cracking job on several fronts, Haneti or Mokpo results back and youāll get your rewards.
Dean if you could have sold 2/3 times and bought back in why didn't you? I'd put a complaint in to POW if you feel cheated. Jeez I've been in this game many years and of I got upset every time warrants or placings appeared and the SP fell back I'd be a bag of nerves. Lost a lot, made more than I lost is the name of the AIM game and that is why companies are on AIM, to raise money easily by issuing shares. Perhaps the main market might be better for you, say Easyjet or TUI or Rolls Royce, aero engines of course, something really stable and predictable unlike AIM miners
Dean, each time warrants have been offered on a one for one basis with share placing they have been offered at a premium to the sp at the time. For instance in the Dec 19 equity raise that led to the 0.7p warrant offer the sp closed on that day at 0.4p so only fair that asking big investors to risk their cash there is some additional incentive. After all, if pis at the time considered the company a cert to reach a position where the warrant price would be extremely attractive, there was nothing to stop them filling their boots at the time at the 0.4p sp was there?
Another RNS giving hope whilst pulling the money out current SHs back pockets. More shares given out now to Magical and Enable.
Aquae,
Admiral hit the nail on the head. Donāt expand too much if youāre not bringing in results first and foremost. If all fail then this exploration turns to dust and everyones money disappears.
Crawl before you walk is the old saying. Establish ourselves on at least one project to encourage more pis. Instead we single out āmatesā giving them discounts for their monies.
What about us, thatās put our monies in first, before we were moving up in the world? Whereās our 1p discount of shares to be exercised?
At the end of the day itās a results driven business as Iāve said before and to attract more investment you need to come up with the goods, then expand.
Results were due February, Iām not taking about news as in new projects, Iām taking about drilling news/results.
I just asked a question on warrants, no idea what drives you to be a prick about it but thats your dance so enjoy it.
Genuinely baffling why you would give some personal comment about me not being a serious investor like your a super genius who knows it all and i should be on my way, but if it helps your opinion means less than next doors ****erpoos so feel free to spout it like a yappy pup for attention as I won't engage you any further on it.
I like the company, am invested, simply said the warrants are deflating and despite looking could not see how many were outstanding.
Thanks to the people who can discuss shares without being personal or acting like toddlers.
