Evening Jr.
No not really - just bagging some profits where I can.
Doing the oppositie of any sensible investor, as I am cashing in my winners and running the losers !
I have a history of selling losers just before they start to recover, so I am trying to be more patient with the fallers.
My main losers atm are CEY, GSK, IMB, CEY, 88E, RDSB.
I've just added BEG to my p/f as believe Insolvency Practices are going to be very busy once the Govt support taps are turned off.
Also the US markets have run so far, a pull back will come when we least expect, and the FTSE will suffer more as usual.
I look in disbelief every week to see the FTSE below its 1999 level, and the US markets are up 4,5, and 6 fold. I am not confident in buying US shares, so stick purely to UK shares, which is probably quite foolish.
Anyway back to POLY, it does seem to be undervalued, and had superb results for 2020 depsite covid. As long as gold continues to recover, POLY should do the same, and to a lesser extent CEY. I am hoping to buy back here on any decent fall, which may be before or after the divi, and like you expect the SP to fall more than the divi when time comes - as most big divi payers have been punished severly with bigger drops than their divis.
Clearly need a lot more lessons with hitting the notes in the correct order LOL.
Take care, keep safe, ATB and cheers - CSDI
Hi CSDI
Great minds think alike!!
I like this share a lot, but am expecting a bigger than divi drop - but what do I know?
Would happily come back in at any time but looking for an attractive re entry point whenever that might be.
Are you now playing the notes in the right order?
Hi Jr
Funny but I did the same yesterday(Thurs) - sold at 1637p just before the bell.
Very tidy 9% profit in one month is a nice result.
Will keep an eye on this for few days, as might have time to repurchase for the divi.
If not, will look for another opportunity.
Seem to be more in trader mode these days rather than LTH. I've been busy selling 5 shares this week and buying just one.
I'm keeping my other goldie-miner (CEY) as stil under water on that one.
GLA - CSDI
And for me too, but horses for courses.
I am a high income hunter.
It's always right to take profit but this is a long term hold for me............
Always good to take a profit!
Against my better judgement sold out at 1631 after the great run.
As usual my timing is not the best but happy to have banked a decent profit.
Good luck to all holders and enjoy the juicy dividend - I think you will have a good ride.
