No ceasefire chance.
32 BTG's and 250 tanks have been positioned in place to retake Kherson from the Russians. The real counter offensive hasnt even started yet.
FA - Sorry mate but you need to take less hopium and more realium. You make the fatal assumption that Russia wants to do a deal to keep only those 2 areas. Russian state media is now saying Ukraine is their land historically and are talking about taking it all again.
USA defence spent $801 billion last year, don’t see money being a problem and that’s before the eu and U.K. funds get added.
Now that most of Luhansk is captured and Donetsk is almost surrounded, he likely began to consider returning to the Minsk agreement, as this would have sped up the process, without loss of life and destruction. However, judging from todays headlines it seems Zelensky is being convinced to fight on with the 50 billion defence aid package in hand, this level of support is unlikely to continue in the long term however, as the effects of global recession shift priorities in allied nations, so he will take this opportunity to fight them off but he wont get many more.
the company will act in the best interest of the share holders, there are a lot of things that can happen we dont understand, its one company and any debt and product can be moved around, if i remeber rightly he did mention it in the live stream
I highly doubt they will load all the debt there. Russian debt will be on Poly Russia and the Kazak and Cyprus debt will sit in the Kazak. 2/3 of the debt will likely be on Kazak. Risk is that Poly Russia is prime sanction target or even delist. Hard to say.
The problem Poly has is getting finance so hopefully the split solves that partially. Im sure Russian banks will be happy to lend to Poly Rus and possibly the Kazak too.
@panda if no payment then we would benfit from off loading all the debit onto russia, thats money in the bnk in Kazak ;-)
What payment Newdealz?
Why would we get a payment and where from?
At trades...
I see you're a POG man, so I'm assuming you know a little about what's going on?
Ill keep an eye on poly tomorrow to see if you're right, just so I can get a better idea of you're expertise can you tell me what you believe the poly SP will be at close tommorow, Monday 23rd May 22...
Cheers
and another thing you didnt mention the payment we will recieve if the split goes ahead, they are not giving it away for free ;-)
It's always back to business as usual at some point .lol
@Atrades no different to the same statement Zelensky made last week and the week before and the week before that... There might be a little bear action first thing but nothing more than a few 'week' hands leaving (excuse the pun), im not scared that easily thankfully.... ;-) Ide rather let the BOD tell me whether we are going to split or not, than try and second guess, Zelensky's polical posturing via the media to get the message across and for negotiations to begin, both sides have to give something so its normal for both sides to say im only accepting this and not that, my view is negotiations will still go ahead, personlaly do not listen to Putin or Zelensky, the middle men are the ones pulling the strings
Agreed , no peace. Holding for the split . This tanks tomorrow unfortunately…We knew the risks. Nothing FAir analyst (bias analcyst) says will change that imho. GL all.
Kince - You are right.
The amount of hopium being taken on here talking themselves into thinking the war might be over soon is driving all this talk.
No ceasefire, no peace, no end to this war until something significant changes on the ground.
Anyone who disagrees is delusional. In fact the only time I ever hear talks of peace is on this BB. Almost 3 months people keep linking posts mostly from Turkey talking about peace talks. Well let me enlighten everyone on here. Turkey is full of CRAP. Ive been watching TRT world for 84 days. Edrogan is a clown who is only interested in his own profile, Russia has been hoodwinking the hopium crowd using Turkey. Its all FAKE. Russia is doing what ever it wants until it is stopped. No deals, no peace... All the evidence points that way...
If you hold this stock. This is the ONLY plan there is:
Hold the stock and hope for the split.
After split hope for dividend from Kazak
After this hope for a deal on the war which gives Poly a way to trade profitably with minimal problems.
Its never going back to business as usual. Not whilst the KGB crowd are still alive. Not just Putin.
I think there seems to be some misunderstanding about the Polish PM's '' what happens in Ukraine is up to the Ukrainians'' comment. This is a sentiment expressed by many countries that support the Ukraine . What leaders are simply saying is that they will not pressure Ukraine into signing a peace deal with the Russians that the Ukrainians don't like.
Onlyonewhufc.
Spot on. and above all you need to be able to take others viewpoint and consider it seriously to move forward.
Like I have said many a times before there are no outright winners or losers here in this war. The best outcome is a ceasefire followed by a peace agreement. I think the Italians have put some serious proposals for consideration by all.

Pandamonia...
Sorry buddy, that's why you're not on the negotiating team, you have to be open minded, creative and believe anything is possible otherwise we would never, ever move forward..
Good luck matey, that's me done for now...
Ceasefire isnt an outcome. Its a temporary situation and its NOT in UKR interest to ask or call for one. Its tactical suicide. So stop hoping for it because you will be disappointed.
Ive seen ZERO shift in the Russian position and even if they were saying something they cannot be trusted. So Russia will have to pull out of a held city as a sign of good faith. Only then can terms be discussed but those terms will NEVER give up land to Russia.
Havoc...
No the visit is not distancing itself, saying its down to you imo most certainly is...
Cheers
Onlyone i wouldn't call the polish PM visiting and addressing the ukr government in person distancing themselves. But i agree the longer this goes on the more emphasis there will be on negotiating and the terms will definitely depend on how the russian advance is going.
Nobody knows what the outcome is going to be. You lot are just living on Hopium that peace comes at any cost for the SP.
Im realistic that I see no conditions for peace anywhere near realistic right now. Ceasefires are impossible also. 50 billion in Arms has yet to even be delivered to UKR.
Peace will only come when Russia thinks staying is impossible and to expensive in blood and treasure. That will happen inside Russia before Ukraine. So stop looking at Ukraine for signs of peace as they are more likely to come from inside Russia.
No flaw in you're argument because that's how you've decided what the outcome is likely to be..
Polish pm today said its down to UKR what happens in UKR, that's distancing himself and his country from any responsibility, the general public may get a little weary of this war and I believe more leaders will follow the Polish pm today and start to distance themselves from the war to save their own skins and their economiez at a later date?
There is no flaw In my argument. Ukraine has a constitution so its not even Zelenksys decision, There is also a big legal problem with regards to sovereign borders. The UN charter was put in place to stop people like Hitler using force to steal land. Russia is doing the same right now. This is bigger than Ukraine. Do you think EU is going to spend 200 billion moving away from Russian Energy just so russia can keep what it stole? No chance.
EU and US will maintain sanctions until Russia gives the land back no matter what peace deal there is. This is a 4 party negotiation. Good luck with that. As long as they can keep Russia at bay they know the sanctions will do the rest. The longer this goes on the worse for Russia it gets.
If the US wanted a Russian defeat and embarrassment then it would give cruise missiles, drones and torpedos drones to Ukraine to maximise damage. They could hit the Kremlin from Ukraine with 200 missiles like Russia did to Kiev.
The reason they dont is because this is about burning Russia out slowly so they take a deal rather than is defeated brutally.
OK, something has to give and the negotiation process has begun...
Ukraine won't be joining NATO...
Macron today suggested Ukraine won't get into the EU for 15 - 20 years...
Both of these will help, the rest of the negotiations are beginning, I'm not saying its going to be easy but as per FA s comments economics is going to play a huge part over the coming days, weeks and months..
Cheers
Pandamonia.
There is a flaw in your argument.
Onlyonewhufc and FA have both pointed out that Ukraine has changed its stance three times in a matter of three weeks.
Surely it isn't possible to take this matter further if one week Zelensky says something and makes a 180 degree turn the next. I must say both parties will have to concede materially if there is a real prospect of peace in sight. Its going to be hard but that's the only way.
