"....if POG has achieved $1550 for 150k ounces in first quarter, along with Rouble depreciated and declined oil prices."
Gold Average appears to just short of $1590 for 1st Qtr, and Futures trending over $1600.
There was very little, NOT, to like, except the normal with POG, the unknown, and the uncertainty. But, very, well positioned.
On bright side, Gold Price remained around $1600, if POG has achieved $1550 for 150k ounces in first quarter, along with Rouble depreciated and declined oil prices.
Some interesting stuff in the presentation Rusty. Particularly the info re: POX.
"Russia: 40% of gold resources are refractory
— Only limited refractory treatment capacity exists including two POX plants
— The majority of concentrates are exported to China
— Russia has declared gold as strategic asset and intends to prohibit exports of concentrates
— For environmental reasons, China is shutting down roasters - particularly those treating high arsenic / antimony. (Petropavlovsk’s process can stabilise arsenic as scorodite which offers a more environmentally-friendly approach to roasting)
There are only two POX hubs in Russia, and Polymetal's Amursk plant can only handle half the quantity that POG's can. So if the export of Russian concentrate is indeed banned, there should be no shortage of ore for us to process. Looking very promising!
Down almost 10% at one time , investors obviously not liking what they heard
The presentation is in depth. It looks at performance. It looks at forward projections. It puts more information out about the possible transactions of Temi and IRC and is very informative. Takes about a minute to upload ( the broadband speed where I am isnt fast ) so some people might upload quicker. Also gives update on outstanding dents and maturity dates. As I said worth a look, especialLy if you dont know a lot about POG.
On POG website investors page, it refrs to a presenation today-April 2020 can anyone open that, and advise what it says
