Lawrence- about going to the share register next week - I tied to contact IR by phone twice but only get an answering machine.
I sent the IR guy Patrick an e-mail and will copy you in. I put in wrong dates of Mn/Tues but you can perhaps correct that with IR> I will forward you the e-mail to your e-mail in 2 mins!
BofA Raises 18-Month Target Price for Gold to $3,000 ( https://youtu.be/QLn--pJ4QVQ ),....just had a listen, Dark_Knight2020,....that's one of the reason, I'm a POG shareholder,....POX Hub technology (the other reason), added to the outlook for Gold Price,.....recent events, at AGM, highlight the potential, here at POG, (imo).
BW
Look at all the one posters will bold statements about selling. If you had sold why waste your time in registering to only post this?
Fact is gold production is up, gold price is up, debt is down, after H1 results are released the PE will drop substantially.
Have a good feeling about new vote. Having waited for years what’s another 3 months.
Dear Istabraq,
Noted. It was just a bit of fun on a cloudy day. I am please for those doing better than me and hope you are also doing well despite recent events.
The painful part of all this for me is that you have lost some respect of me. Hopefully, I can regain this back soon :)
What it has proved is we can make a small difference, so we should. I hope you will register to vote and then vote in our joint best interests.
To change the subject somewhat, can you shed any light on when the H1 results will be released and what percentage of purchased third party ore was used in the production of last results update. Just want to know if this has been profitable for us.
Wow CofE. I had a bit more respect of you but are we really asking for one to expose oneself in public? The quantity of individual's shares is irrelevant, our mutual understanding and onward progression in somewhat more valuable. Each to their own I guess. Good luck!
Yep I'm up for it just tell me what I need to do,also I would prefer you made the arrangements as I haven't a clue what I'm talking about. Outside of that I don't mind doing the necessaries.
Here's my email
lawrence13@sky.com
Latest RNS IS NOT THE BEST NEWS. We need someone who is batting for us to be in control. More bloody uncertainty.
20k
Lawrence that could be great. I (we) just need to double check with investor relations of POG that the register is open for viewing and taking copies then. It might be necessary to arrange a time as well for the viewing. Shall I contact IR or can you do that?
Otherwise, - it would be good for us to indeed draw up the likely % holdings as they already stand with the majority shareholders to determine what % gap needs to be bridged...!
How does the vote look at the moment;
With all this tornado of doubt, concern and anxiousness since last Tuesday morning, how do the opposing factions currently align by name and voting rights
mdunsire. I use to live just around the corner to that Beckenham address which is the Link Group, until I moved to the south coast nigh on a year ago. However I'm going up to Beckenham next Wednesday and would only be to happy to pop in there and get what you've suggested. So if you could tell me exactly what I need to do I can go and do it, so to speak
mdunsire, I have said I admire what you are trying to do, but I believe you are wasting your time. NOW, let me make myself transparent. I, 100% believe that people should vote. Everything to help the old board if you support them. But, if I say I have 20 million shares, you do not know any difference. Of course I do not have. But we, will not make the difference. Its the institutions. Good Luck every one, and lets make sure, that some semblance of balance is returned.
mdunsire, don't forget, Pavel has contacts as well and a lot of his friends previously had friends in some very far flung places.
GeOrge123 I will be totally honest, although I work in the financial services sector, and have been involved in options, I have never ever, used them, so I am not the best person, The reality is though, there is a potential cost to providers so they will want to make a profit.
coe - so once we have exhausted this forum and reached the values you describe ...we should also cross contat PI on the advfn forum. It would be interesting to see where we get.
Also if anyone lives near Kent, then somebody could take a copy of the shareholder register in Kent , 34 Beckenham road, Beckenham, BR3 4TU. From this we could also get at least the addresses of other Shareholders who are not holding nominee shares with the banks. This could all help to top this value up.....
me, 120,000 shares. If the SP goes down I may consider buying a bit more, but I will not go above 5% of my total portfolio.
50k from me
Couldn't have said it better. Kerimov has always offered fair value, he is a philanthropist who has given back alot.
Ok so the count so far:
1, CofE 535k
2, mdunsire 680k
3, MOG14 100k
4, allywag 850k
5, Everopeful 600k
6, Tuscan_C4S 2.26 million
7, davie_b 15k
8, Lawrence13 1.613 million good to see you still holding tight.
6,653,000 so far = 0.20082553%
If moving this from the middle to one side creates a 0.40% change difference. Therefore, our vote counts.
Come on anyone else will to add to this list?
Who else is willing to add to there current share holding just to reinforce the vote?
"Kerimov .... has never worked or associated with strukov"
That is good news. Kerimov in the past has appeared to be among the more principled of the Oligarchs. He even did his bit in 2008 to try to keep the investment banks afloat. I hope he takes a bigger stake in Pog.
You need premium account to email you. I did not vote because my broker ii did not notify me and I lost my job, I have a few other concerns; including leaving the country. I had to go into my profile on ii to tick something to be able to vote (last year I was notified). I bought the share at around 6, sold at 10-11 (idiot), bought back at 20, 120,000 shares. I thought about selling but I got quite p**** off and want to vote this time. I will vote against this coup d'Etat; i.e. for the former board and against resolution 19 and 20 unless they get clearer
Kerimov the major holder of polyus who bought 3% has never worked or associated with strukov. I personally believe his actions are to prevent UGC merging with Petro as this challenges PolyUS with a bigger pox hub and combined production. His act of buying shares prevents UGC taking over.
yes totally agree Whosnext.
I have naive question
Could a long-time shareholder and would like to gather data for the next vote? by p rivate m ail?
A. Number of shares
B. I voted at the AGM in June Yes/No
C. I will vote In three months:
a) I will vote for all clauses
b) I will vote for all clauses except No. 19 and No.20
D. I think keep my stake Yes/No
Etc... (Name, username ...)
The idea is to evaluate small shareholders pool of votes
I will see Lawrence, who did not ask for anything, I agree, in this mission of trust :-)
Who knows, if the number of shares is significant, the result could be interesting for P. Hambro
Has anyone a correct answer to Toolittletolate's question below because this is really important?!
Rustybucket- you mention that one shareholder bails out ..presumably you are referring to Fortiana (previously 4.62% sold 4.12%).
You will have noticed also that Bonum Capital Cyprus just bought following this 3.5% shares- likely to be an OTC transfer from one oligarch to another. Both are Cyprus based investment vehicles owned by oligarchs. You can bet your hat on these guys (oligarchs) colluding together to get their majority to take the company private. We need to know the TRUE purpose of the intended share issue of ca. 1.1 Billion shares. As previously mentioned if this is not related to the CB but effectively a private issue to private shareholders (i.e. oligarchs) then the control of the company will be lost to the oligarchs. Shortly after it will be delisted from the LSE and we all know what that does to the share price.
