Well Kilgeever, we are on the same page - its just a waiting game now - wont be long
Afternoon Ferret.
Why is it that so many seem to refuse to recognise the dire economic data, unemployment and consequent impact on investment and discretionary spending?
Baffling.
Like most, I grabbed some easy profits, trading in and out as hammered stocks made a small recovery. I'm finding it difficult now.
Everywhere I look I see overpriced shares waiting to fall out of control.
Anyway, best of luck in this distinctly different market.
Market selling off on fear of economies not bouncing back to pre-covid levels within weeks - i mean, get real, how was that even a real possibility. Corporate earnings are testament to that. Unemployment still increasing and now (in US) covid rampaging again - damn stupid Americans opening up too early, 'we wont get affected like other countries - dont need to wear masks' and 'invincible' - yeh like that worked, backfired completely on Trump that one !
I think today is fear of no US market because of long weekend plus the fear of how bad it might be on Monday when the market opens again and market reaction.
Lets face it, this whole rally since May has been built on what - strong fundamentals, earnings, PE - yeh right - as i have been saying for a while the markets are massively over priced and IMO a massive correction is coming - when, i wish i had that crystal ball but there willbe some cheap shares to be had
Its not shorters, its not profit taking, its general market sentiment and fundamentals shining through, as i have mentioned several times. Hence i was short ! Shat my pants when i saw the TO rumour but cant see anyone buying anything in this market - most are reducing exposure to asset purchases or acquisitions. 'Street insider' should be punished for market manipulation IMO
Last night, as I read this board, I thought I was going to miss an opportunity.
Since 2015 I'd been in PMO. Suffered the ups and downs, jam tomorrow. I was treated badly, for sure. Then we see lights but warrants etc, another spanner! A rocky road, bandits around every bend.
So, yes, like many others, I had mixed feelings about the possibility of a T/O, of missing out of a rocket rise this morning, of PMO being sold too cheaply....was it for this I lost sleep in 2016-18!
Then damp squib time. Again.
Where will it settle?
The past two weeks have been dull, directionless and devoid of opportunities in PMO. I'm looking elsewhere but this cursed stock has its claws in me.
Can't see much news out of the US over this long weekend either.
Its same 30p saga all over again, remember how everyone was commenting everyday why wont it moveeee and when it moved, it moveeeeedddd lol Long term its only going one way and that is Up.
Back in, long term now
So the rumour was just that ( or so it seems) and the chance of quick money evaporated. People are angry. That easy money was mine! they cry!
So someone is to blame, or a conspiracy lurks.
The fall today cannot be related to anything else. Happening. Everywhere.
