AlfaMale, you are such dishonest type.
You quote a bit from whole sentence and refer only to it. That is dishonest.
I said if there will be short squeeze (19% of all shares) than there will be massive buying pressure.
Be honest when you quote someone. Otherwise you look like a fool, not alfa.
About closing shorts. After hour transactions might indicate this started to happen:

Kenni boy,
I suggest you go back and look at when the previous 20% of shorts closed, before you start ramping this with your inexperienced "massive buying pressure" comments.
Do that and let us know, before you get carried away thinking that your $40 Brent prediction gives you any credibility on here.
Check out GKP breakout,,, nudging up on every single buy after 2 months of consolidation.
AM Brent futures spiked to 40$ yesterday, now 39.3$
I promised I will speak to you at 40$ couple days ago, when you were saying I am dreaming about 40$.
Well, I do not have to say more.
"massive buying pressure "
Just like the last time the shorts were up at around 20%?
Keep dreaming.
This is one heck of a volatile share. I would expect this over in AIM shares (!). Drops nearly 1% in a split second yet stays still for many minutes. Smells of dodgy 'bots.
On FCA website is daily spreadsheet with short position (also historical - it is all there) declared to them.
https://www.fca.org.uk/publication/data/short-positions-daily-update.xls
PMO is still shorted by 3 entities and they will have to close those potions at some point, meaning buying 19% of all PMO shares. That is massive buying pressure and if prices start to climb, they will start to close, meaning squeeze and spikes. I hope :)
Looks like were ticking the volume box...
Where is DBNO? Still hoping that poo will retrace? Must be lonely in that dark, dank, unheated cavern of his, waiting for Godot.
They don't get paid for holding a short lol
Don't forget they are getting paid daily for holding the short position.
I think thats the point, why not cover some @ 20p..
but if theyre happy @120p , so am i.
ARCM held their short open when the SP went as high as 120
What makes you think they will be locked in at 30p ?
They are totally locked in,, i would imagine they bought a few through other investment vehicles to hedge the short.
They claim this monster short is hedging them against the debt that they own, but you would have thought they would unwind it accordingly as we went under 20p.
Blatantly stupid imo ,, if oil sees $50/$60 in the next month as i expect, they have no chance of buying those shares back under 150p
ARCM cannot ignore this now ! This could cost them a lot of money holding a monster short. £43,000,000 to buy their way out ? I had trouble buying 20k worth lol
Let’s hope we see a monstrous squeeze here and they get locked into that short !
