LOL yeah, they can feel the doubt seeping in.
You can always tell.
Devon is full of the brown stuff. Keeps up the pressure for his paymasters, countering anything slightly positive with his negativity. Has no interest in the shares yet feels the need to part with his wisdom on us. Not to mention his love for the creditors. Classic de-ramping.
I just like watching you wriggle when you can’t come up with the sums dev you silly billy.
"There are so many valuations of newco... "
New a truer word.
But, investing is about working with educated certainty, where as gambling is rolling the dice and keeping your fingers crossed.
You'd have to belive the market is mispricing this by a magnitude not to belive the lower valuation.
The alternative is a gamble.
I know, it's the MM's keeping the price down, but then why ever worry about Shorters if the MM's are all powerful? Or could it be the market is pricing this correctly, and inline with the 2b valuation....
There are so many valuations of newco... we need PMO to come up with guessestimate of the new mcap.

Based on Premier’s immediate pre-merger announcement share price, its market cap. was US$184 million. With its shareholders set to own 5.45% of the new entity (assuming that the creditors take the maximum cash payment available), the newco needs to have a market cap. of at least US$3.38 billion for the deal to be at a premium to the pre-deal valuation. The newco will have net debt of US$3.2 billion on deal completion, which would give an enterprise value of $6.58 billion.

You can just look back and do your own research, but it was early on after the news first broke. I think he may had been quoted in either a Reuter's article or Metro article. I'm pretty sure it was the Reuters article. I'm surprised you think any different, as the present trading implies that value, more than the billions more, that some believe. But as you said, you've sunk a few hundred thousand into this....so you must be clear in your own mind of the value. I just made a note of the valuations and thought better of invesing in an over levereged companies equity. Why worry what others think if you've already made your mind up, or start googling if you can feel the doubt setting in.
just after the merger proposal was announced Jeffries said it valued PMO 's equity at between 200 and 250m dollars.
Or post the link? Seems very odd a 50% discount to comparison company’s with less debt and more production more reserves and tax advantages?
Can you break that down for us then?
It's from a report/press commentary provided by an oil analyst. It's been posted here previously.
It's the implied valuation driving the share price today.
Devon, please explain how you come to the 2.6 figure then please
'My English is not so good. I am a Fugu chef from Fukuoka'
Almost as believable as the market cap for the combined new entity being anthing in excess of 3b. Think more like 2.6.
LOL Still, it gave me a laugh.
Fugu isn't SK.
crap day is what to expect from Premier on a Friday.
Fuguupthejacksie is definitely SK
My English is not so good. I am a Fugu chef from Fukuoka.
Oh dear, sorry if I've offended anyone.
Fug and crack, reported and filtered.
Hello Rookie1. No, not that, of course. I recommended what I did, because I think it will benefit fellow investors.
Ah so you sold at a huge loss and want others to do the same in the hope you can buy back in cheaper and recover some, gotcha.
Hello nicktheglobe. I agree about gas, and am invested in other 'gasies'. Regarding Premier Oil though, I will stick with my plan of staying out for at least the month of November of this year. Thank you.
Don't think I'd sell PMO at this level. It has a good asset mix, including plenty of gas, which could become highly valued. Gas prices in US and Europe have made a full V-shaped recovery and moves to 'renewables' are likely to favour gas as when the wind and sun aren't running to plan it's the CCGT that's switched on. Gas can also be used to make blue hydrogen.
Hello Keithgl. I was an LTH, and sold-up this week to invest elsewhere throughout November at least. My recommendation would be that other LTHs do the same. Thank you.
Fugu you need to go back under the rock you came from and have a little more sympathy with LTHs who have high SPs to worry about. This share price will pick up especially with the news of a very good vaccine on the cards from Oxford.. I've had enough of you bye bye - filtered
Premier Oil's assets seem better than Chrysaor's assets, which is one reasoning why I believePremier Oil's share price may continue to flag through the month of November.
