You provided it your self Rookie , want me to explain is again? Analysts projection 2,6b
Using your figures;
5.5% of 5B gives us a share price of around 28p per share
Using the analysts projection 14-15.
What's the share be averaging 14-15p.
Can it be any more easy to understand?
Whoops big city dev, still waiting on your maths big man, don’t have my account shut down though, I’m just asking the question.
"5.5% of 5B gives us a share price of around 28p per share?"
OR of 2,6b c14-15p. Remind me, what's the price averaging out again?
Maths hey!! LOL
5.5% of 5B gives us a share price of around 28p per share? Gives us access to any future acquisitions and major backing to fund the likes of zama and sea lion( not that I can see sea lion ever getting the green light)
This deal isn’t as bad as it looks, not ideal for long term holders but anyome sub 50p could get their money back within a couple of years imo.
Isn't 5% of $5/6bn kind of what we have now?
Still feel 5% derisory
It doesn't really matter. They have paid down a chunk of debt in exchange for 60 odd percent of the company.
We get 5%.
Obviously they will want the share price to rise once they have equity in the new company
"is it better for the SP to be lower so they can offer a lower price?"
- it's a rescue deal. When a company needs one of those, it's share price reflects it's difficult position.
For the reverse takeover, is it better for the SP to be lower so they can offer a lower price? I’m just trying to gauge whether to buy some shares now or wait until we know the exact terms of the offer.
