Agreed, but what i mean is when you guys see them buying up those large chunks, you follow like sheep - so if you truky believe they are sharks you would do the opposite right ?
why don't you find out by yourself?
Just look at their history....
Nothing good about their kind, they circle around taking chunks out of companies and manipulate to suit their agenda. You only need to look into recent dealings to see what they do.
Even worse when you consider we allow them to get away with it in this country.
please explain why GS are sharks ?
You beat me to it Arcmhunter.
Gs selling nearly all is good in my opinion as they are sharks and we need rid of them.
. . . and why whould you dump such a holding if you were bullish and just days before a Trading Update ?
Goldman Sachs arent stupid !
Indeed why sell such a large holding - certainly NOT take over, so is it TD's keen and spectacular refinancing skills that may be spooking them - lets face it, who wants to be heavy long when a company restructures debt covenants held by one of its biggest shorters - duh !
Who’s to say they weren’t acting on behalf of a third party.
GS probably held many of the shares of the ARCM short position and have now sold those in my view.
GS bought at 28-30p, not bad profit. Probably do the same somewhere else.
Is that sea-fishy or fresh-fishy?
GS sold about 48M shares in 6-7 days????
Is that possible? something is fishy here????
Any thoughts?
Why would GS selling the majority of their holding be a sign of an impending bid? Any bid would be above the current sp so surely the opposite would be the case?
What do you make of the latest holding RNS, basically showing they have sold most of holding?
