PMG never communicate developments inless they have too. I agree it could be viewed that the platypus licence has been reliquished, someone found on linkedin a subsea project manager contracted to PMG on platypus, and the status is shown as current....with pmg, we have look elsewhere for information, as we don't get it from Tom
The OGA are generally accommodating. Their remit is to maximise economic recovery. It would make no sense for them to kick the development years down the road when the incumbents are pushing forward despite a setback outside of their control.
I wouldn't follow the charts on an AIM stock, this could half or quadruple in a day, charts go out the window when it comes to AIM
Selling to get in cheaper, especially here would be a huge mistake, its cheap here and I can't see us falling below 50p now unless we get bad news, just my opinion though!
PMG company PR is poor, shame really
In a future licencing round the block would certainly be in demand I would assume.
I hope we haven't lost it, but all evidence tells me that we have.
The company needs to communicate with its shareholders.
If that's the case under the current gas prices the OGA would surely have had there door beaten down from potential developers........So I'm sticking with Parkmead and Cal.gas with or with out a potential third partner
The licence no longer appears on the oil and gas authorities map of licenced blocks.
So, the block now is unlicensed.
All information available to me shows that P1242 is now back in the 'ownership' of the oil and gas authority.
Not sure I agree.......where's the confirmation we don't have platypus any more.
The Platypus licence
A confirmation from the company that we still have the licence would be an idea wouldn't you agree?
Aye agree....... however GPA is complex with so many potential feeds from other operators.
Dana are skint and wanting out of the oil and gas game. They did Parkmead a favour by pulling the plug on platypus which with today's gas prices money will not be an issue developing it.
Yes, we have been waiting on GPA for years.
The Platypus licence P1242 expired at the end of July.
News is long long overdue, when it comes it may not be good news...
It pays to keep a balanced perspective imo.
NQM: Are we not waiting for official news
Dutch gas futures pulled back from €70 to €63 and PMG failed to break through the resistance at 56-58p.
Without official news, or another spike in gas prices I can't see a reason for it to go higher.
Just my opinion
Really ???
Such a tricky call with PMG as news could come anytime and with little free float it could rocket.
However, I sold 50% yesterday morning as the current spike looks to have ran out of steam for now IMHO.
50% held just in case.
Just hope it's good news mrc
Think we probably got rid of a few stale bulls today. All good for the next leg up.
Would be nice to get some news soon.
Added more, next leg up soon
