What prompted the takeover logic for this tiddler ? What future value does TERN believe to be in the PIRI assets to prompt this move ? TERN share price has fallen so the Market has valued the deal as it usually does, nor has it sent PIRI share price to great heights. So Market still not convinced what are the synergies or benefits, unless of course another suiter fir PIRI is being flushed out as a white knight. Interesting that SURE is unmoved by all this.
suggest you read your post from the first of June - unbalanced. LOL
you seem a tad upset that I am making hay while the sun shines. Sub ten pence a share for Tern and all the percentages they own in what are recognised in their sectors as "best in class near as dammit" investee companies.
You seem a tad more rattled than normal. You have been saying that Tern is trading above its Nav of 9p and that it will drop. Yet you seem unhappy that it is dropping, or is it because I am highlighting the bargain to be had here and you do not wish it to be broadcast.
Out of character for you not to be happy that the share price is dropping or did you get the timing of your last entry level all wrong. Oh dear, "C,est la vie" as they say.
Ooops. Wrong board, sorry.
Hi. I notice that there have been a number of RNS publications under Tern and more so for Piri where people are posting their holdings due to some rule during a takeover for people with a 1% or above interest in the offerer or offeree companies within 10 days of the announcement,
https://www.thetakeoverpanel.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Summary-of-provision-of-Rule-8-July-2021189117.3.pdf
As a just in case if you have not already done so and the rule does apply to you then assuming working days apply next Tuesday looks like the final day to get your notification in.
Interesting strategy. Assuming I read you correctly you are buying Pires at sub the Tern offer price of 8 pence in the expectation that if the deal goes through you will get free money or rather free Tern shares. I assume you have seen the recent RNS announcements for Pires which suggest holders are in fact selling off or converting 4 pence options in order to sell off whilst you are being clever by buying as the Pires sp drops whilst at the same time the Tern sp is also dropping. I'm not sure I understand the logic. The sums are a bit hard for me but the 8 pence offer was made when Pires were at 5.2 pence. Since the offer Tern has fallen 24.2% so the 8 pence offer is now equivalent to 6 pence with Pires having dropped 7.7% to 4.8 pence. I think you need to be a bit careful here because seems to me that if Tern continue to drop faster than Pires then throwing money at Pires could work out to be a negative sum. You are in effect playing with two falling knives and betting on which one falls faster with the added disadvantage that both knifes are decreasing in value.
no, you are unbalanced
on the piri exchange rate so I am happy with all the sellers here. 0.51 tern shares to every Piri share. l am now building larger stakes in both. It is like Christmas has come early. You should be purchasing shed loads as you have been trying to talk the tern share price down for what seems like 2 years.
Both quids in. Except I do not talk a share down to get in at my Target price like you do. The two shares will follow each other up and down.
lol
Re 5th April post GedW. Spot on with speculative prediction that Corporate news would arrive in June. a bid comes along to add excitement to this share. So far the predicted buying in has not materialised. Seems like the PIRI bargain hunters are keeping their powder dry, for now ?
I wouldn't take this as a given, some big shareholders are far from happy with this deal and will vote against it..For long term holders this is a pretty poor deal
and Tern at 13p. This 8 to 11% disparity in the sp's needs to close and will self correct the closer it comes to the deal being concluded. I believe that our North American connections that go back a decade and more with Al will prove extremely beneficial to some of Pires investees . Here's to a prosperous union.
I have sold a few tern and bought pires shares and should make 8% extra on share holding. I believe that both sides have a great deal to offer as a combined force. Just to let you know that Jolly spectator if you look at his tern history is always extremely negative. One of many unfortunately on our board who does not hold shares but has plenty of poorly researched posts. Genuine investors in Pires or Tern know that the sp will multi bag when any decent exit is announced and before that nav remains the handcuffs on sp.
Looking forward to both shareholders doing extremely well in the future and the fact that Tern is buying Pires tells me you have some class talent in your investments as Al Sisto is no mug when it comes to spotting a rough diamond.
TERN is perhaps over-priced @15p relative to recent NAV c8-9p...but I guess it may secure a decent exit one day on pf lol
nice implied discount here still tho
tp 5p to load up (implied TERN sp sub 10p dyoc)
Interesting news today giving long sufferers an exit into a larger company with decent prospects, if you believe in the potential of their small number of focussed & dynamic investments.
SURE VENTURES's share price is moving nowhere ? PIRI having committed shed loads of money into this and other investee companies is showing little growth. Indeed more and more funding is being milked from shareholders, with little or no reportable significant appreciable Corporate upside. PIRI continues to show weakness and that is despite positive mutterings from its investee outfits. SURE VENTURES should be the bellwether indicator of things to come, but the share price isn't and has not moved very from when PIRI started chucking shareholders secondary offerings into it. to get to 17p or even 21p PIRI shares need to rise 400% just to allow some PIRI share buyers break even, some were burnt the first time around and still reeling after chasing previous piri poor investment choices.
.. Is this share so dead at the moment? Seemed to be hot a while back... What's the state of play?
General theme here! Wiser after the event. But follow market sentiment and win win win. Follow the money. How much have the Investee Companies raised £150 Millions + with no appreciable value upside, how much is PIRI valued ? Says it all really
The Bottom Line on using Bollinger Bands
Buy when the SP is at lower Band or under
Sell when SP is at top Band or over
Example... https://www.cityindex.co.uk/~/media/forex/images/education/articles/technical-analysis/bollinger-bands.jpg
Well, maybe there is going to be another chance to buy cheaper than earlier on....
Profit-taking is going on nothing special if considering the share price has run into a higher territory than should be in the short term.
Yes SP has gone over the higher Bollinger Band, and at this stage, the norm is to take profits.
Indicator Slow Stochastic also wants to move lower
Spikes do not last and PIRI has done that in 24 hours

Haha, apologies vbeckers. I was trying to raise without selling Pires, I needed £100k cash in my SIPP to exercise and was basically fully invested as like an idiot I'd been "buying the dip" in a load of stuff that the wealthier tech stock promoters were pushing. Like an idiot I've been expecting the market to improve and it just didn't. With the warrants expiring at the end of this quarter and my broker historically being pretty slow to exercise, I've been having to sell things at a loss. I got 75% of the funds raised without selling Pires, but just couldn't see how to get the rest.
Anyway, all done now, looks like I'd have done much better if I'd waited a day. Surprised the market hasn't reacted badly to the Pluto delay but I guess people are noticing there's lots of other value in the Pires PF and the NAV of Pluto is above the valuation last used to calculate the Pires NAV anyway.
Once the warrants are exercised this is back to being my SIPP's largest holding. Though still (narrowly) my second largest investment overall, after DRUM.
And another spike up to 6.30 v 6.60p +0.60p (10.26%)
and that is a 2 figure % rise
Intraday chart https://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=staticchart&s=L%5Epiri&width=300&height=295&p=0&t=23&dm=0&vol=0&cb=
6.15p +0.30p (5.13%)
Doing well on the charting front as the last 5.95p point is broken and now a clear path to around 7.50p.

The last 10K buy that has moved the 6p offer to 6.20p now.
MMs by now should be short of stock, so any small buys are should be moving the price higher
