Hi Pat, i think we need to remember that the company were not obliged to do this for PI's and it has probably complicated it for Novum and Neville's. Just a view to consider.
I’ve been reading the posts on the IPO. It all sounds a bit cloak and dagger and not very transparent. Is this normal procedure with a company’s IPO.
If successfual, as a certificate as I don't have a Crest account
How are you receiving them?
I asked for £10K via John Belliss, contacted Howard (Neville's Registrar) acting for HUI and was sent email yesterday to complete application. Sent bank transfer for £10000.05 as requested on the subscription email to Nevilles registrar. No guarantee I will get them in which case they would refund to my account. GLA
sharesport - I got an email from Neville Registrarson behalf of Hydrogen Utopia International with an invitation to subscribe. Theres a unique link per person within the email where you fill in your detail then arrange payment. Once the allocations have been finalised on the 4th of January you will be sent a share certificate or refunded your money. I spoke to Jon Bellis 2 days agao chasing info and he said there is a delay but that people who have stated interest should be contacted by the end of this week. I guess that's possibly where the delay in you being contacted is.
Hi KiaKaha - can I ask which portal you are referring to please as I have had no further contact since I was advised by Novum that they would request a letter of subscription. Are we following the same process but you are further along than me? At present I am awaiting a letter of subscription and have made no payments and am currently in a holding pattern. Many thanks
stophe - yeah not a painless user experince is it. I am at least nearer to being onboard with HUI than I was yesterday
KiaKaha - I sent Novum a screen shot, the minimum value is questionable and you can't adjust your target figure, but even if you click to pay by card it just gives you the details for bank transfer. Novum said just do a bank transfer for the value you want. I'm starting to have doubts about the whole process, I am not filled with confidence.
Hi sharepsort - I've hit a wall with making payment. The figure on the portal doesnt match the value divisible per share needed for the purchase . I cannot edit their number and whislt it's only a 10p difference wont allow me to make the payment. I've escalated for assistance.
I don't think you can buy through normal channels HL, ii etc, otherwise information would be on there websites by now. I use iweb and they only transfer in through Primary Bid, so I've asked Novum who else I can buy through, as I don't have a Crest account and don't like the idea of having a paper copy of share that's live on an exchange that I can't sell quickly if the situation calls for it.
This was their response to me also at first but I’ve been calling them up every other day and grilling them along side novum. My order has been called in for a couple days now and still hasn’t placed so I think they are waiting on novum at this point.

When I contacted HL on Dec 2 they told me this IPO was still in the very early stages and to watch for alerts on the website. When did your correspondence with them start.
KiaKaha, Thanks for the information. Can I ask if you have paid any monies out yet. I am with Barclays who will add the shares to my account electronically / from certificate when available. With regards to payment I understand that I need to pay HUI direct and that this is initiated via a letter of subscription. So far I have advised Novum my subscription amount and am awaiting the letter - is this the similar to the letter you have received from Nevilles? Thank you
Dr Anomaly is this automatically sent to everyone on the list? Do I need to reply if my broker (HL) are already placing my order?
I came to a road block when filling it out when asked if I wanted my shares issued either through my crest ID or certificate with my previous details.
I presume my broker will use their own crest to handle this with novum anf save me the hassle?
Well I sure hope so considering they’ve already taken my cash payment.
Hi Sharesport. I’m going for these via subscription and have received an email from Neville Registrars this afternoon.
Does anyone know how many shares are currently in issue for HUi?
I read in the prospectus that the £4m raised by way of placing will issue 53.3m new shares. Seems like a drop in the ocean when compared to PHE’s 4billion.
Would be able to compare the 2 nicely if anyone knows.
At first I thought 7.5p was quite pricey but now I’m starting to think it could well be a bargain considering the slice of pie on offer!
Thanks Dr A - is the e-mail from Neville for those who had brokers who could facilitate the process? I ask as my broker doesnt get involved with IPO's but will add the shares when available. I am awaiting a letter of subscription.
I received mine.....get on it early as you may need to open a Crest account, unless your happy getting a paper copy of the shares sent you, then you need to transfer into your account.
I'm waiting for reply about the application value, minimum looks to be just over a grand, but you can't change the target value its fixed at 10k? anyone looked into this?
I'm dealing through ii and they don't have any information on the IPO on their website but speaking on the phone I was told there has been a lot of interest in this one and just need to keep checking their IPO information section till the news breaks.
