I expect it is the excitement of not being able to attend the AGM in person.
Points of interest:
1. Voting figures for and against.
2. Which questions sent in by shareholders will be answered and which if any will be swept under the carpet.
Here's to an enjoyable but different AGM. Hopefully no heckling or disturbance from the floor this year!

Ha ha you should know you're a doctor!!!
Notforalongtime it may well be the case that autoimmune diseases are caused by other things but the fact remains that pharma cannot be sued, don't need to market their products because they are mandated and are in charge of the data.
I've watched closely how they have gerrymandered trials for hydroxychloroquin and saw how the press colluded with them during this pandemic. Big pharma is corrupt and I wouldn't trust any data that they provide.
All these people who died from the pandemic could have been saved with drugs that cost next to nothing but the big problem with that is that there's nothing in it for big pharma. I have known too that simple vit d is a major factor but again big pharma kept quiet on this too.
Jabberba off topic however I did feel need to say, there is zero link or evidence of link regarding any immunisation or jabs and autism. That's not prrof offered up by pharmaceutical companies either, it's by doctors who have studied Autism.
The drama is the report that suggested a link - even though it has been rubbished and the originator has since retracted it - gathered such strength and force that now its stuck in the public domain. This also leads to many parents refusing other medications and an appreciable rise in infant mortality and illness which can be cancelled out by a simple injection.
The reason for the noticable rise in Autism, ADHD and other disorders are that children that where once put aside as 'troublesome' or 'unruly' etc are now being diagnosed correctly. It just happens that these medical breakthroughs coincide with others - such as updated and more efficient immunisation drugs.
IMO if a child contracted an illness and dies because a parent refused to get an immunisation the parent is culpable for manslaughter at best. And as I've always said I'd rather my son had an injection and developed autism rather than dying because I'd rather he didn't risk autism.
Sorry all anyway for step away from PHE stuff. I just truly can't fathom why people would refuse to protect their children. ?? Up there with flat earthers.

Government let GKN be taken over by Melrose (a much smaller company) so anything can happen, also let Sirius minerals get bought out .
testpack3 I understand your frustration but there is considerable evidence that vaccines cause all sorts of serious long term damage (as well as the considerable benefits). In the states they give up to 26 vaccines per child and the number of children with autoimmune diseases, autism and many other serious incurable conditions which suddenly started appearing after the state mandated all these vaccines is not something we should take lightly.
Drugs companies cannot be sued for injuries and as they are mandatory no marketing is needed. Then the drugs companies make more money on treating but not curing the injuries they caused in the first place.
A licence to print money with no recourse. It's legal crime.
Testpack3 - How RR comes out, like many companies and IMO will probably depend on cash flow generation, reserves and asset sales.

The vaccine will be ready by a March, the problem will be Administering it as it will be a 2 stage vaccine. Just watch how much of a struggle the flu jab will be to administer this year.
Silly comment RR going bust. CV19 has had a brutal impact on air travel, and will do until it's safe to fly. An effective vaccine is a year away, and notwithsatanding the multitude of idiots who will not get vaccinated, for a number of reasons, one being that 'impinges my personal freedom', the same argument that the idiots use for not wearing a mask, but wear a seat belt and a crash helmet without even a whimper about 'freedom'. Once a vaccine(s) is redily available, people will return to holidays, business travel and the airlines will recover. It may take 2-3 years, but will recover, and grow. RR will be leading the charge.
Casajaluma - They have just taken on a new intake of graduate engineers. I'm not sure the government can afford to let them go down as a company, they are too strategically important! Time will tell, but I know where you are coming from with your post. Do you think Rolls Royce will end up being nationalised?
Regardless, in times of crisis, often it breeds innovation and innovation at speed.

The case for a UK-wide hydrogen strategy
Read our open letter to the Chancellor
Dear Chancellor of the Exchequer,
As a group of leading businesses that operate in the UK, we are united in our belief that the Government must establish a UK-wide hydrogen strategy. Developing a clear, strategic plan such as this will unlock significant private investment in hydrogen technologies and manufacturing across the country, driving growth and creating green jobs.
The UK has the potential to become a global leader in renewable and low-carbon hydrogen technology, but we must move fast to realise this opportunity and achieve the maximum economic benefit.
A UK-wide hydrogen economy will:
Create and sustain hundreds of thousands of high-skilled, green jobs, in all parts of the country
Drive progress to Net Zero and improve air quality in towns and cities
Secure private investment into the UK, and unlock export opportunities for our products and skills
Increase our energy security by making fuller use of the UK’s natural resources
As you look to design a post-COVID recovery, we encourage you to focus on creating high-skilled, green jobs, in sectors that will be critical to the future economy, such as low-carbon energy, transport and heavy industry.
These measures would be wholly complementary to the Government’s levelling-up agenda and long-term decarbonisation goals. For example, the Committee for Climate Change has made it clear that the UK will not meet its Net Zero targets without significant investment in the hydrogen economy.
The global hydrogen economy is estimated to be worth $2.5 trillion by 2050, supporting 30 million jobs. Other nations, such as Australia, Japan, South Korea, Canada, and China have already set ambitious strategies for growing their hydrogen economies. Just last week, Germany joined this list with their own €9 billion hydrogen strategy. The European Commission is also creating an EU hydrogen strategy, which includes plans for multi-billion euro investment in hydrogen projects, and schemes to boost sales of hydrogen electric vehicles.
It is now clear that hydrogen is going to play an essential role in the world’s future, low-carbon economy. The increasingly bold steps being taken by other nations underlines the need for the UK to bring forward urgent measures to establish a hydrogen strategy and unlock investment and innovation. We should not risk falling behind other nations in developing our hydrogen industry.
As a collective, which combined employ around 100,000 people and has a value of £100bn in the UK, we stand ready to invest up to £1.5bn in hydrogen projects and create thousands of jobs across the country. This is why we have joined together for the Hydrogen Strategy Now campaign.
Signed
