Mike, i wasn't talking it down either. I tend to agree with ShreDEds that there's a transfer taking place from Lombard to another institution, hence expecting a TR1 showing that reduction, plus another confirming the other institution crossing 3%, but let's wait and see. Last time they dropped it sharpish from 35s to 31s, but that didn't last very long. If it that repeats, i'll be adding more if I get the chance. GLA
This is looking very, very good...........
We will. I'm not saying that there is another party that will make a bid, just that there is steady institutional buying and that when Lombard offloaded 2.5% three weeks ago it was to another institution. I expect more TR1s, although I note that previous notifications have generally been when 5% has been breached.
Well we shall see whether the TR1 appears and whose name is on it. A new holder must declare at 3%
At the moment there is a willing buyer for all traded shares, with some largish block buys in recent days. The larger trades today were peanuts really in the greater scheme of things, but the overall volume suggests that the buying activity continues.
That's not what happened Mike. Lombard sold two large chunks of their holding in one go to another interested party(s). The two trades, equal to 2.5% of the company were clear to see. I've not posted today, but I didn't see anyone talking the share price down - just a recognition of the potentially interesting picture behind the trades.
Either that or they felt overweight and are taking profits whilst they can? We need higher momentum to test what’s really afoot so pray for more volume.
If I bought 13% of PHD from daft sellers and made 25% in a few weeks I’d sell some for the coffers then buy more back from daft sellers by using the same strategy..... rule of trading is take profits if they suddenly appear especially if you can replace them in a situation like this? I could be wrong but if they are selling more only the 180K trades might be a possibility but we shall see. If there was a takeover there’d be a TR1 from whoever was buying at 3% then every 1% thereafter! All imho.
Ok so what’s your theory on them going up to 13% and then back down again?
Not just you ... plus the Lombard trades would be upwards of 500K and possibly millions as per when they were buying. They aren’t going to transfer any imho and will keep them all for fund use plus might add! Great for them once divi returns as growth plus divi equals happy clients! GLA
I was not talking it down when I mentioned Lombard reducing! I think if they reduce again they are transferring the stock to a potential bidder, not sure how that can make me a hawk?
Not convinced all sells. Smoke and mirrors. Can see the hawks trying to talk it down with their not too subtle Lombard reducing remarks so good sign imho. Still holding strong here!

More likely institutions buying. Someone had to absorb those sells and they were far to big for retail pi money. Same behaviour as when the other 3 II's loaded up. If there wasn't a persistent buyer the so would have decked.
Proactis aren't big on spikey RNS's but they are recruiting overseas and they have a lot of big updates on their website- today's news and big pharma renewing last month. Talk to the company they are very forthcoming and happy to chat with investors.
