Capital Fund Management's arses must be twitching a bit now.
Happy days.

Totally agree LeeRex. Next big hurdle here is 140. Once over that i believe this will start a good rerate towards the 200!
Nice to see this at the top of the 3 month peak.
Hopefully breaks through this time.
All the clever money was a Strong Hold months ago. This will eventually fly!!! Might be 12 months, might be 24 months. Still a strong hold for me and looking for the long game on PFC
GLA
haha, i like the last bit poker. Some people think this shares gig is all one way traffic & easy money. It's hard work & can be stressful for sure. PFC is one that i'm least stressed about. Quite happy to sit on these for a long time. Sitting on the Golden Egg. Only gets killed by impatience!
The shorters buying back now means the bull buyers must take over, for the next stage .... but we are enetring a recovering economic situation and energy is going to back in full play again.... so...everything to play for...
4th SFO anniversary coming up....oooohhhh
The CEO said he expects he expects the sector to grow later in the year....seems reasonable assertion..
The tendering and final decision making is underway....some Middle East countries are having budget cutbacks as a result of last year's budget over spend....but that will ease too later in H2 ...imo
Stay calm and back the new CEO ...imo
Anyway....I always liked my profits coming after a bit of hard work, stress, suspense and tension.......feels like a proper days work :-)
I'm not sure whether Slift is still holding PFC or bailed & wanting a lower reentry. On the pipeline issue PFC have never been in the habit of dropping RNSs about all their contracts. I see no reason why the pipeline will not be as per previous factoring in covid obviously & the temporary suspension by ADNOC which accounts for about 10% of historic contracts. I feel the recent rally in the commodity markets is surely going to filter into the oil sector soon. The reduction in declared shorts here is a huge buying signal IMO, & i can only really see this heading North from here. Nonetheless any weakness or dips below the 125 level (which i don't expect) i will buy into!
And right on cue pops up Slift with his (her?) doom and gloom.
Some things in life are just so predictable.
IMO, this is primed and ready to fly high again.
Patience grasshoppers, patience!
"All bad news baked in & shorts bailing out. Selling at these prices is a bad move IMO. we'll see."
Meanwhile, the backlog has continued to diminish with no order coverage of significance since start of April.
Backlog estimated at c. $4.5b at end of April.
Current month is huge to ensure backlog is kept at sustainable levels. Otherwise, further downsizing of the company would be required.
That is solid reduction!
This will fly
short positions now at the lowest levels since 2015. This share is just waiting to rock!
And down again. BR knocked another 0.11% yesterday. Now stand just above 'reportable' at 0.54%
Total declared now at 3.36%
Happy weekend all.
DT
haha, yes i thought that too. I think i make or lose £700 everytime this moves a penny either way!
Cheapsharesboy
they become quite amusing after a while...
To think people advising us about our life savings and dodgy charts are playing with pocket money
4thtiger
with respect...next time you have a "dodgy" chart ...maybe you could post a pic of it..so we can see the "dodgy bit" within it
..otherwise it is kind of .....meaningless
110p?
Just like the 79p that never materialized.
You been talking to joshsmith?
He has lost his shirt and trousers shorting.
PFC is a multibagger from here you just need to sit on it.
£700 is just chicken feed, albeit profit better than a loss.
You should be looking to make a minimum of £10k here, if not £100k or more. Depends on your funds.
I don't think there was anything personal about DT's post really 4th tiger. He has stated (correctly that your posts are almost entirely negative (which is correct) & called incorrectly i would add. How do the charts indicate this would go back to 110? With all the shorts reducing this will not go back there without some pretty bad news. You've chosen to sell, so good luck in your chosen alternative ventures but there is no need for an unwarranted deramp which has little evidence behind it!
I have done 6 trades this week,5 of these are winning and one is badly judged. I made over 700 pound in PFC within a short time. One should look at the chart in combination with other factors. I have no further holdings in this one. If there is good news soon, the price will rise from current level, otherwise do not believe so, as chart has peaks and troughs, an honest opinion. No point to get personal.
Have a look at 4thtiger's posting history in PFC. Almost entirely negative. Each to their own but I think now would be a good time to close any outstanding short. Just ask Blackrock.
I actually think the SP is holding up nicely, given the current low volumes. These are the times that the price is often manipulated downwards. Any whiff of good news - new contract or positive SFO news - and this flies.

"..The chart looks a bit dodgy at the moment..."
ey lad....it be a real dodgy one that one....
I've seen a few dodgy charts..and I'm telling you... that one is ..well..right ...dodgy !
Not sure what relevance charts have on a share which is in pretty uncharted waters. I.e just bounced off all time lows!
No chance of 110 or 120 here now IMO. Be lucky to buy this below 125 now. All bad news baked in & shorts bailing out. Selling at these prices is a bad move IMO. we'll see. This is a bizarre share sometimes!
The chart looks a bit dodgy at the moment. I am afraid it may fall to 110 level due to lack of any positive news soon. Sold my shares and may come back again
Good news indeed. However, IMO the shorts are still controlling the SP as they contrive to exit in an orderly manner. No significant buying pressure means they can just keep it pegged while they buy up loose shares.
We need some SFO or contract news to put some pressure on.

Says it all.
Apols for the repetition but it feels good just typing it!!!!
