yep no 'no brainers' anymore. Markets mad. I'm looking to scale back now. Happy to leave this one long term. Will have sub 150 average once i get the cheap shares!. Liked the forward outlook today!
I jumped in today at 240p.....it will sort itself out ..i have been in and out of ITM..that was even worse ...gives you seasickness that one... for ups and downs ..holy moses
yep too right. I see you jumped in on Hut. A bizarre one that, all over the place LOL
Paddyboy1
No gain, without pain.....lol.....
This whole game hardly lets you put anything away these days .....always something round the corner....
Tenders and hopes look much, much better here for year end and 2022 though
Makes sense. Cheers Poker.
hope you're right Poker. would like to see a bit of stability here. want to just tuck this away now & not have to worry about it for a good while. It's not really been that type of share over the last year. Up & down all over the place. I've done very well out of it overall though so can't complain!
cripes
negative trades are usually reverse trades to cancel out a buy...i.e a cancelled trade
Paddyboy1
Probably late reported after hours from earlier in the day ..for some of them..looking at the prices
Some of sells appearing as negatives? (-)
i don't usually pay too much heed of the after hour trades but that report up above doesn't look very healthy!
i sold a few in the ISA to pay for the new ones. I'd have had to do that anyway. I'd imagine this will drop then tomoz if entitlement was today. Personally i'm just happy at least we were allowed to get some of the cheaper shares rather than a pure placing. I guess next couple weeks could be interesting here!
I see this trading down much lower before 11th. I hope I am wrong. Plenty of buying opportunities ahead.
To be fair pokerchips it is in the prospectus timetable. Each prospectus timetable is a standard format.
The fact that people do not understand what each date means if not the fault of the underwriters.
Mary
a race to get the big contract they mentioned, before the MMs get too much of a chance .lol.
Paddyboy1
Considering it is an offer for shareholders to help raise them cash...it is a it of a joke it isnt expressed clearer.....to shareholders
Likely to trade down towards 115 or lower, mms have some fun.
Same old paddy, I remember the board was wrong on TUI recently too. I rembember a guy sold after record date and managed late in the afternoon that he had sold rights and covered himself by buying back.
EX is the key, tights or entitlement.
when they're back over £2 i don't suppose i'll care too much anyway!
well i think any layperson reading this would assume you get the shares if you held yesterday & not after. Had enough of it all for today though!
You will be pleasantly surprised rock8

I actually went back to that Infra Placing/Offer in May and found the explanation about the share certificate holders (which is the admin reason for the Record) ...
The difference from the use of a normal Record date is the use of the share certificate holders data ....it is all about what they use the Record for ....to ensure that all entitlements end up with the correct holders ...
Not very explained though , today
Food for thought rock 8.
Penny dropped yet?
Entitlement up to close on 26th.
Ex entitlement 27th T1
Open offer opens on 28th T2.
M.
It’s very clear it’s the record date - read the documentation.
But I would be happy to get even more as I added loads 124-135p today - but I can read and understand legal documentation.
Cheers Pokerchips,
It was the same with INFA which had an open offer. The record date was not the date that mattered. It was the ex entitlement date. No different here.
GLA
It’s very clear in all documents - its the record date
“The Open Offer will open on 28 October 2021 with Qualifying Shareholders having an Open Offer entitlement of one Open Offer Shares for every four existing ordinary shares registered in the name of the relevant Qualifying Shareholder on the Record Date (and so in proportion to any other existing ordinary shares then held) on the terms and subject to the conditions set out in the Prospectus (and in the case of Qualifying Non-CREST Shareholders, the Application Form will be despatched to shareholders). The Open Offer is expected to close at 11.00 a.m. on 11 November 2021.
