dadean,
What are you -posting as you know nothing
Wow dad have you ever received any dividends from any share you own, Assuming you own shares?
i heard a fund manager on a podcast (money week) saying that these pay a9% dividend at the moment, from what i have read here this is not right?? how strange
In the USA it is extended/ after hours trading.
It does not happen here.
My remarks are to referring after market trading.
ONLY HAPPENS IN THE USA
THIS ONLY APPLIES TO AMERICAN MARKETS.
NOT UK !!!!!
Don’t spread misinformation.
Paddy you are so quick to attack. Do enlightening us how did you think the world worked?
The big players are the ones that buy your shares during the day have u ever notice that there is a seller almost instantly and wondered how? Well sometimes there’s a odd amount left and it easier to just sell the small amount you have left. Think of it as taken out the rubbish. Not that I’m saying this share is rubbish.
That was me
'not for small players' so do enlighten us who the oligarch was who sold 562 shares @149 then??
Most likely one of the insti shorters buying back 582,000 shares that they had borrowed. We’ll find out at 4.45 tomorrow.
You can buy and sell 1 hour pre and 1 hour post market but is not for small players
Now your looking like a fool. It’s down to the buyer if they wish to hold or sell. But they got a good price as to break these shares up is expensive is fees and will affect the share price. So when somebody want to sell a large it is sometimes cost affective to take a small hit. This doesn’t mean it will affect share price as the buyer may hold for 220
More drivel from the drivel monger. Like someone would surely sell half a million shares for 1.51 when they finished trading @156. Prick!
Regardless of my position the trades that show after 4.30 are after hour trades. It doesn’t necessary mean the share price will drop or rise greatly just somebody was happy for another buyer to buy at a price. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/after-hours-trading-am-i-able-to-trade-at-this-time/
IMO, you will be absolutely fine. My ave is a bit lower at 121 but I think we will all be very satisfied in 2-3 years time. TBH, i did not buy this share for dividends. This was for capital growth and hence i have all of my PFC holding in my ISA. ATB
JG, pay no heed to those 'after hours trades' you see on here. The only relevant one is the UT which denotes the official close price. The other stuff is trades throughout the day. As you will see. The one you refer to has a price of 1.51 which means just a delayed trade report.
No I've been holding all year, I averaged up even at 165 , I'm happy with my holding, averaged at 135 now, will definitely be holding these at least until 23, because when larger new contracts are won and PFC resume their long standing ADNOC relationship, and dividends do resume, I am hoping the yield on this type of SP will be double digit.
JG68, hope you have not sold on the hope the Y-11shy person is right. Might be a short sighted position. IMO
Exactly Paddy. I've read a whole lot of negativity with a smile on my face. The prices some of us have been able to load up is an absolute steal.
It is as they say, the stock market is the vehicle for the transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient. ATB
Large after hours recorded sell at 151 may kick in at open.
i know we have Covid still holding things back but i really think the significance of the SFO stuff being concluded has been missed here. When the whole SFO stuff happened in 2017 it knocked the SP from nearly 950 right to 350 in a couple of months. Just indicates how much potential ground there is to catch up here!
Tomorrow price will rise and I am sure in it with 100% positiveness!
interesting to see how these play out tomoz. Wondering will the shorts try their games again? pretty sure the price action Friday signals at least a further reduction from RB or CV!
Maverick, that is certainly the way i'm viewing this one now. Just sit on it at least until next year. Hugely confident that this will be way higher then. Shorts exited; SFO out the way; new contracts coming in; suspensions lifted. OP on the up; a great new management in place. Huge potential here!
