Whats the bets on the trading update ? I say end of the month last working day of April ?
Yadda yadda ya
That is the point . They have let it go down to get it cheap. Imagine if you invested as a debtholder and i invested as a shareholder a year ago. You are going to buy shares at below market rate even when share has fallen nearly 60-70%. and what will i have.
They could have issued rights at 70,60 etc .. They could have sold part of business . They could have done some belt tightening. They let it drown to get it cheap.
I know we all had a moan regarding the timing of the RNS the other week and the paradoxical nature of RNS' and those that weren't, and rightly so as it seems to very odd. However, and just to state, that bar the recent stifling RNS, the past year RNS' were obviously timed for the impact, which was generally received well and accordingly reflected in the upward nature of the SP at those times. I'm hoping the RNS that we are now due will do the same and discounting the 'odd' RNS recently will the BOD be trying to continue the impact that the previous year RNS' did have, which is fact.
Albeit I'm hopeful, a large dose of scepticism is reserved for the big reveal, so to the BOD:
"prove me wrong regarding the doubt you have fostered upon the humble PI"

Probably low volume because the shorts want a lower exit. Their departure seems the only thing that moves the SP. Latest RNS was a kick in the teeth for PI’s. The sp does however seem to want to hang around 25p give or take. Update will need to be good, stating legacy completion, debt solution etc. Order book should value the business a lot higher than 25p if it survives, which is question able atm.
Oh yes dan
I put far too much into Superdry and got seriously burned.
Far too much in PFC same happened.
Now trading smaller amounts in much bigger companies.
Lesson learned, never trust in the management
Eerily quiet on here today, low volumes?
GLA
@Dancuk, all I can say is that RR is saving my bacon, 6 figure sum gain there, now likely to be offset by a 6 figure loss here in PFC. ““Thems” the breaks,” as the pride of Britain Boris once spouted and luck either way is the thing. GLA.
Just looking at my H&L account, 5th May i bought 12267 Rolls Royce Holdings Plc Ordinary 20p Shares @ 101.2868, sold them a couple of month later for 107 and pumped the money in to Petrofac as i thought it was on the up.
Anyone else made a bad decision like that (Bar Petrofac?)
Alpha male manchildren playing with missiles and drones ... as if planet earth hasnt got enough to deal with
little wonder they think AI will overtake human development , measured against those d*ckheads
Looking at this from a distance , the share price is low due to the overhang of debt and uncertancy etc. When this was seen as reasonably risk free and debt not quite considered a high risk as it is at the now the share was approximately 90-120. So even if 50% of the business was issued as equity to cover the debt then i would argue that the share would then have a potential to be at least 45p / 50p . I suspect this could potentially be higher as the overhang of uncertainty would of been removed and the shorters would of migrated onto there next prey. That with the new contracts etc could see a good turn around for the business. This is my view however i have been stung before with similar situations so possible that i am just been optimistic.
Please some one correct me if i am mistaken,
If D4e comes at a premium of 10p that makes per share at 13 p to a debt holder.
Now if new float is 525 million which is equal to current float. So some one will own half of the company in around 75 million .
Why didnt the board tried selling half of the company etc or put the whole bit on sale. I am sure that will generate much more then 20p a share.
Just non core assets are valued more than 300 millions.
It seems they want to rob everything from PIs . I have no faith in this BOD.
Hopefully it doesn’t blow up on the launch pad.
From the moon to mars- although it might dip round the earth first!
I'd argue the response from Israel was surprisingly measured and what's more encouraging was the reply from the Iranians who have gone on record to say they will not be responding to the missile attack.
The situation developing in the Middle East is going to cast a cloud over UAE operations possibly. Infact it’s affecting the entire market today. Caution required
Which way is the rocket facing though!?
Rns next week financial results along with finance options. Then fasten ur seatbelt 🚀
Any sell……buyer looks to be mopping up in the background
Petrosaga - No need to say sorry as I am the one should say that. I should have read the article carefully and double check before dissemination , instead of just looking at the date (18th Apr 2024)
Petrofac awards carbon capture sub-contract

Agreed- then 35p by the week after. Exciting times for pfc just hope we’re not taken over cheaply as this is a £1 in a years time. GLA
