Sweet mother of God! Prepare your self for a surprise, lol.
Ddraig/Mollaka's post timed at 10:09 contains some pretty good content.....and some horrible stuff too, sadly.
1) Ddraig - you suggested someone commit suicide yesterday on the 88E thread yesterday and it was deleted by lse. I and many other posters have pointed out repeatedly your cruel and frankly unforgivable jibes about fellow posters' mental health. Do you not read the news? Do you have any concept of the pain you may be causing readers of your despicable utterings? Have you had a friend or family member commit suicide? You disgust me.
2) Objectively, Ddraig describes extremely well indeed the process of identifying all the moving parts on timing, subsequent wall of selling, reputation management etc, etc which have to be analysed and squared away prior to an equity raise for any company, particularly in small caps. I have an advantage in knowing the BoD and knowing the corp broker at Canaccord. These gentlemen are all well versed in such matters so, personally, I have no concerns on that front *IF* that is the chosen funding route. I believe a farm out is Plan A for the BoD although my personal preference is to self-fund for another drilling season. But the process was very well described by Ddraig in his post.
3) Ddraig knows fine well the rationale behind Farallon *maybe* ceasing/reducing its share sales and it relates directly to the 88E tax rebate news. I am able to confirm that a number of interested stakeholders are working hard to see if there any implications from the news delivered by 88E on Monday.
4) FWIW I do trust the PANR BoD. I trust their integrity and as an AIM Board they are as aligned financially with private shareholders as 99% of the companies with whom I've come into contact in my career. Does that make them infallible as humans? Of course not. But I trust their characters.
09:43 - Hi - regarding your comment about "is the SP ......... being prepared for another placing to pay for the next drilling campaign?"
What do you mean by this?
I've seen others make similar comments but unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with this sort of thing to know what's going on. Presumably, your comment links what you've mentioned to this current share price rise, but how does that even happen?
(for example, are you saying that the company are doing things to increase the share price, such as buying lots of shares on the market? But if so, what's the link to another placing to pay for the next drilling campaign?)
Oh chessman 1 & 2, you simple-minded old buffoon! For the umpteenth time.....I am on record for weeks/months now stating the following: despite it not being my preferred funding method, I believe the likelihood of a farm out has increased and the likelihood of an equity raise has diminished. To be crystal clear, I would far prefer PANR retained 100% control for one more winter drilling season.
The fact that you, cheeseman, appear to lack the reading or comprehension capacity to have noted my prior posts does not necessarily mean I'm obnoxious. However I admit when it comes to constantly correcting your fantastical conspiracy theories then you're right, I am indeed obnoxious. And exasperated.
Does it also likely mean you don't know what you're talking about? Yeah, I'd have thought there's a decent chance of that being true also. Pip, pip.
09.43 - I get your point about scot but at then end of the day he's got a lot of stuff wrong so wouldn't read too much into his ramblings or where he's (very rarely quiet)....and they are quote disturbing ramblings.
Fact is the company will need funds at some point, anyone who argues others wise is delusional. When that happens is u to debate. Clearly the current rise is an opportunity as farallon have pegged this at 30p for months.
The company has to be careful too. Yes a road show is great but the last thing you want to do is get an uplift in share price, get a raise away and then farallon smash the bejesus out of it back to 30p. IIs lose out and reputation ally you'll be in a more difficult spot. Unlikle others I reconcile that I only know whats public information and that like an iceberg, probably only 10% you can see above the surface. So what this boils down to is do you trust the board and their business ability to maximise the potential by making the right decisions...adnthat is everyone's individual right....
I posted on the other board a day or so ago that an executive director had informed me a small roadshow had been held earlier this month and that further presentations were intended for institutional investors .
The questions for me are:- is the SP now on it’s way to 100p plus or is it being prepared for another placing to pay for the next drilling campaign? Normally the obnoxious scot126 shoots down anything he deems to be negative but on this occasion he didn’t respond so I think another placing is on it’s way. The potential riches here are enormous but somehow they seem to be beyond reach. I’m starting to wonder if PANR is like the end of a rainbow!
09.35 - 3% I believe ...so c.20m shares
Just out of interest, if there is a big buyer mopping up the shares, wouldn't there be an announcement about that? I guess that perhaps the amount that they've "mopped up" needs to break a threshold though.
Whatever the reason for it, I hope it's a solid reason - these share price movements look more positive than just usual business-as-usual trading activity
Follow the money
I am hoping that further good news is going to come out on the drill results which must be due soon. That and a big player with lots of dosh and experience comes on board to take this huge find forward.
it seems like there is a buyer at any price and mopping up the shares Farallon are off loading.
Maybe there's a hint of a finance deal?
Well, maybe the way to change that is to discuss stuff a bit more!
Why do we think that the share price has gone up by 8% this morning?
Too much entertainment on the ADVFN board!
Considering how much the SP is moving at the moment I am very suprised by the almost zero volume on the BB.
Just shows how quickly sentiment can change, since Monday
