If Russia/Ukraine agree a peace deal shortly as the media is intimating. Sentiment would soon turn. Already signs of the early birds getting on board with other Russia linked stocks such as EUA, POG, POLY….Not arrived here yet but likely will come soon. Would take much less of buying pressure to get this one to run higher.
Very harsh. The market cap is almost less than the cash OVB has (in safe jurisdictions at that). And, as has long been the case, no value is being ascribed to orenetide. On the flip side, this means - theoretically - the market cap shouldn't be falling below the value of the cash/equivalents, but over the last week we have seen it clearly has done just that. Glad today's price has taken us back to a slightly more reasonable place
So we $9.5 million in cash and cash equivalents held in UK, Irish and Australian banks. We only hold 125000 shares in Poly.
After that clarification from the company, I feel OVB has been harshly marked down because of the poly share price. Most our cash is in banks in safe jurisdictions.
Yes indeed. Particularly appreciated the excellent cash position information which highlighted that adverse exposure to the big drop in Polymetal SP has been relatively small (it would appear they had previously sold off most of their holding in POLY before its recent big drop in SP due to Ukraine situation). Will sit on my holding and wait for further news in due course.
Welcome RNS from the board, provides some comfort and clarity. Hopefully the price firms up a bit more from here.
In the interim results in Sept 2021 the company said more than 50% of patients had been enrolled in the phase 2 trial. I think it is therefore reasonable to assume that we should get an Rns in March confirming the dosing of the last patient in the trial. With already having completed 3 trials in Russia and gaining approval, the phase 2 trials should meet the end points.
I am hoping that we will then sign a licensing deal with a pharma to fund the phase 3 trials for USA and Europe.
Just wondered why the SP had plummeted so much after seemingly fantastic news. Any ideas? RUssia?
One bag yesterday, 9 more to go...
Seems like a decent entry point. The SP went high 20s in the last couple of years even without the authorisation - interesting to see what it does if OVB starts announcing any commercial partnerships
I’ve been adding on this dip as missed a decent entry yesterday.
This is surely worth ten times our present value. It will come in time.
At a Mcap of £18M surely OVB must be a sitting duck for a takeover target. We have approval in Russia on the back of data from 3 trials. We have a phase 2 trial nearing completion, which will have a very high chance of meeting the end points. Then all we need is one phase 3 trial to gain approval for USA and rest of the world. OVB is ridiculously undervalued and hence very appealing to other companies.
so much for botwats sanctions
Sorry make that 14% as does fellow director Mogutov!!!
Director Skopstov has 11M shares so owns 12.5% of the business!
The market has got this wrong, It is way too cheap at this price. Just look at the likes of fum to compare. I suppose releasing an Rns at 15:30 didn't help. This should be in all the papers tonight and won't be surprised if it opens into the 30's tomorrow. It's been a long wait but worth it.
Looks like great news.Co only valued at £20M and have around £8M in cash. Going to commercialisation imminently.Ooo er exciting!!
Been in this for years. About 12p and nearly sold out on a spike at 15p recently but the mm's would not take the stock. Shame.....
Where's the MCAP heading to from here? Commercial partnerships pending.
I also think a lot of people will have missed the RNS coming out at 3.30pm - let's hope much more to come for the SP tomorrow
What a plonker! Do some research.
Take it your not invested yet….
You are speaking of the ongoing phase 2 study in Australia/New Zealand which commenced around 1 year ago. Whilst the Russian Marketing Authorisation re-submission feedback is expected shortly.
whose bowling into this when the test subjects still to fully complete and results could be some way off
The 2 trades at 8.16am today were made to look like sells by MMs but they were buys based on comparison to the afternoon price action from yesterday. News we await……
Hmmmmmm……Interestingly today is the first trading day after 3 months has elapsed since those 4th Nov 2021 RNS where there was the large size shares transfer transaction from NED to a new Russian investor.
Market sensitive news should now be able to be released without it raising any eye-brows about the insiders. Could be why there are some pre-emptive buyers of the stock today.
Something's up today
