Dyl2021 You could be right. In one of the interviews Tim said, at the anniversary they sit with IAMGOLD and discuss their forward plans. Might be earlier this year as due to COVID restrictions you can do all that over a ZOOM meeting, etc instead of face to face meeting.
So they could be speaking now....who knows. Just guesswork. Will find out soon.
Good post mister positive. A waiting game is the byword for investors. Well , when I say investors i use the term loosely .I believe that 90% of all punters are in fact , traders .I also believe the 10% , the investors usually make more money than the 90% , traders .In and out for beer money is all very well but looking at the various shares i have knowledge of , The investors usually get the biggest slices of the pie .Provided the company in question is a profitable one of course . I am here to hopefully see out these projects .There seems to be a lot of them on the horizon here .
Leathal , ok mate nice one .I also don't believe a single word on these boards .In fact I always believe the exact opposite. If someone tells you they are going left , they are going right . If someone tells you we are about to go north , we are actually going south. It works .
Nice one Loch , always value your opinion , i got in on the day of the big spike back in Jan , luckily managed to get a few more at 1p to avg down so sat here at 1.19p not the best entry but certainly not the worst by the sounds of things
I just think it's a case of waiting for the due updates to see what we have found .If positive results and grades are shown then a rerate would ensue .In terms of this share it is like any other company in respect of the bulletin boards .The pathetic and groundless pump and dump rampers only appear with their ludicrous predictions when the share price is rising . They only like singing when they think they are winning .When quiet periods follow they tend to either disappear or change their narrative. All this ... " guess the sp at the end of the year " and 10p by the end of the week " are either pump and dump merchants or beer money dreamers .Instant green box for them is recommended. As fast as they are ramping they are selling .We do have a lot of potential here given the previous results but these parasites that are present on every board , once in the green box are in their rightful home . We can then get on with looking at the FACTS and not the deceptive fiction . The next few months will hopefully give us FACTS to cheer about .Gla genuine holders .
Hi MrP, this is my 1st proper investment and bought in at the spike, 1.55 is my average. Due to me being a novice and panicked incase i missed the sailing ship. And have been in the red ever since. Im not prepared to to sell and understand gold mining exploration companies are not something you can make quick money.
After doing a lot of research and hearing good things about GGP/EUA etc this share made me excited for what could happen.
Now i still believe this share will rocket up This year and could possibly see similar rise with so much news anticipated. All depending on good grades and the aiV agreement. However reading that ORR/IAMGOLD where due to have an annual meeting 2nd of March and seeing that report arrived without any updates Was just asking for advice of people with more experience to see if this was normal. But looking back 12months wasn’t it 12th of March when they released the RNS last year??
Hopefully end of March we will have a better picture when we start getting some assays through. Will look forward to it.
I'm with lethal on this. Luckily i never got stung and don't buy into the hype. So many ORR investors disguising this a SCREAMING BUY at 1.90p before they believe we're overdue "Fair value"
From 15th December - 12th February this shot up 350%. That's one hell of a swing without any assays or results being announced. I do believe eventually prices like 1.9p will be a thing of the past but it doesn't matter who you are, if you bought in at 1.9p, and the following week it retraces to 1.3p, thats one hell of a loss short term and its never nice to see.
DYOR, follow their informative twitter page, look on their website and spend an hour or two looking at the RNS history and if it fills you with confidence, buy in there and then. Far too many investors just following the spikes without fully understanding whats happening. If you did buy at 1.9p, right now is an ideal opportunity to average down
There is a very small mention of Senala on page 20, as being in Discovery Phase / Greenfield. However you are right no mention of the JV. However I expect that an RNS would need to be issued from both IAMGOLD and ORR to cover either/both drilling results and continuation/finalisation of the JV based on $ spend as per the original agreement.
I like many others though am waiting for the RNS to confirm the above, and hope to see positive results moving Senala into the next phase.
So came across this as i was re searching for Some updates anywhere. Now Iamgold have released this to the investors on their website but no mention of ORR JV? Today was the annual Meeting date so was kind of expecting something to come out?? Should iamgold of reported the JV in these updates?
