Lol MRP, been also looking at the other unknown/grey printed trades, a few million pound trades excecuted above mid buy. More than likely to be buys, good way to keep it low and all of us guessing.
Mr P , jolly
Cheers for info, let's hold for gold
Wow.....jolly
You reading my mind....LOL
Touche MRP.. wot timing mate..
Kiadog, had a look, shown in grey and slap bang on mid of spread. Sharescope also showing at as an unknown. Sp ticked back up though.
17:07 seems a Buy.
There is also -1m sell from morning.
Both showing as type: Unknown.
Look like cancel / correct trades.
Correcting the Qty on Buy side by the looks.
Thanks MrP
Is the late trade at 17 07 a buy or sell? Anyone got l2 access?
Spot on post MRP. We need to ignore the daily topsy turvy movements and focus on what we have. The Oriol tweets have been a good source hinting at us to stay focused on our projects. In addition little snippets about IAMGOLD and their focus on BOTO resource upgrades as well as them looking at Cameroon... we seem to be the common denominator here..
Tim Livesey past roles at:
Antofagasta
Anglo American
Barrick Gold
Reservoir Minerals (COO)
Reservoir Minerals was sold to Canadian listed, Nevsun Resources in April 2016 for $365m.
Nevsun itself was then bought for $1.86 Billion by Zijin mining in Dec 2018.
Management track record & quality of assets is what attracts Takeovers.
It will be fine. In big Tim, I'm putting my faith. I might get that Crux guy to send him an email in his passive aggressive tone..
"Dear Tim you promised RESULTS in Q1. Q2 is NEARLY upon us, yet we see NO results. Can you put a DATE on when we are going to GET some RIVITING RNS'. You've said this BEFORE & I want to draw a line UNDER it!"
Regards
Big Crux Guy
Can anybody elighten me on TL history with RM ? I assume it was of some success? Many thanks

“Although it seems to be travelling by tortoise” hahaha Dogstar I actually laughed out loud then at my phone. Brilliant.
-5% is better then -10% earlier in the day aye!! I’ll take what I can get until these assays arrive.
Hunni I’ll join you at the Salvation Army!
Hunni, hope it pans out for you, if it doesn't remember the salvation army do a mean chicken soup!
@MrP,Prof & eyeguy - This IS a form of torture but remember that the "NEWS" IS on the way and, although it seems to be travelling by tortoise it will get here eventually!!! (whether we'll still all be above ground when it arrives is another thing!)
yep. some good posts today. Ive loaded some more over last few weeks. IMO this is one of the best potential gold plays of the last few years and very much reminds me of Mariana resources circa 5 years ago. The surrounding Senegal geology is world class and the risk is offset somewhat with the fact they already have world class results at FARE plus Cameroon drill coming too. Its a lock and load for me
Hi Dogstartrader
Thanks for the useful tips.
I just backed a SPAC today on a punt instead of tipping up here. Like my life wasn’t exciting enough! That may turn into “backing the 4.25”
They say spread your risk but it’s probably meant to go lower than here not higher!
Looks like that is the end of my career as a tipster...Day trader came in 3rd! Yep,fast women and slow horses ...story of my life!!!
For those desperately in need of funds there is always the 4.25 @lingfield where the fav is called....Day Trader!!!
Dogstar
Excellent approach. Agree 100%.
Perfect i shall look to purchase , all helps mate
Thanks v much

That's great, Leathal. I'm a bit of an old fart really and have some rather old fashioned views - although we have the i/net I still advise people to read as many books as they can on this subject as the old masters invariably come out with something we can use. I pointed a few of the guys towards "The little book of Market Wizards" by Jack D Schwager which is very good for dipping in & out of (chapter 8 Risk management touches on a lot more than I posted on here). These books are great as when we make the same mistakes again & again (and let's face it -WE DO!) they are there to re-read until finally the penny drops. I am a big fan of this little book as the chapters are titled and makes THAT specific thing easy to read. Remember, the market is a fickle harlot that tempts you with promise only to slap you in the face when you're not expecting it!!!
Hi Dogs
Thats really helpful thanks very much , started investing 6 months ago , im by no means a big player , just thought id try and invest a few quid rather than leave what i have sat in the bank doing nothing
Id consider myself to be pretty careful , none of what i do here will affect my life in anyway , mortgage is 30k on the base rate so thats peanuts , no kids so im not having to shell out on a daily basis for them .
Im keen to learn after getting drawn into crypto by a friend i learnt that was far to volitile for my liking .
Anyway less of my life story , think im guna sell the wife and top up here !
Nice one Dogs appreciate your time

Hi Guys,
Leathal I don't know your level of experience in trading/investing so apologies if I'm telling you something you already know but when faced with this situation in the past (just last week for me actually!) where I have bought shares in a company only to see the sp drop almost instantly, I have looked at the following things to help guide my actions:
1. Check whether,in adding to what you already have, you won't exceed your own portfolio risk profile/plan ie if you have set specific percentages of your PF for high risk stocks and buying up more Oriole would greatly increase your risk exposure then adding would not be advised.
2. Check whether other high risk stocks you own COULD be wholly/partially sold in order for you to add to your Oriole but still respect your trading plan.
By sticking to the rules you have set yourself you can, sometimes, avoid making errors. Last week I was confronted with the same conundrum stick or twist? In the end, as I was convinced that we had struck "the bottom" with ORR, I sold the TLW shares I had bought to top up my original holdings and used it to top up my ORR (Original TLW @31.77 topped up @27.20 sold for just over 40). I still have my original TLW but now have no cash on hand and am a bit over-exposed with Oriole but am willing to take the risk. Strictly speaking if I were tempted to bring down my average even more (which I'm not after buying more just last week) I could right now as TLW are drilling a well off the coast of Suriname that has a 2/1 chance of being a producer so, theoretically, I could reduce my holdings in TLW by 2/3 to de-risk (I'd still be invested but greatly reduced to avoid a possible big sp drop if the well turns out to be a dud!). Some people obey their own rules rigorously and some of us are a bit more flexible (over a short time frame) - only you will know the details of your own situation and whether you are handling the amount of risk you are comfortable with atm. Read up about "risk management" as it is an important strategy in your armoury and gives your PF, and your overall approach, structure. Hope this helps, mate.
I said a week ago that it was my final top up. But if it keeps on going down for absolutely no reason, then I may have to add to my holdings as well... I don't have anywhere near as much as a lot of the others on this board lol, but anything to bring my average down is always a bonus - but yeah -it's like playing with fire lol
