Alfred sounds good! Haven’t tried much of the Russian vodka but I hear a ice cold, decent vodka is nice. I had a few Gins last night to wet the whistle.
Hi Kurtzz, sounded like you had afew whisky's on Friday.....man after my own heart, I'm just having a nice Russian vodka....Cheers.
Haha yes most definitely were both gamblers, I’ll stick Hunniford in that bracket as well. Troajan as well. I wish I was in at 0.2 but as you say everyone has 20/20 in hindsight. I’d have picked last weeks euros numbers so wouldn’t even need to invest.
Have a good one. Catch you Monday morning for some gold pipe action
I think we are both gambling men given this investment, but looking good so far. I’ve taken a punt on the Grand National with a bit of interpretation on the name - Mine-ll-a-Celebration and Taking Risks. I thought “ Any Second Now” was pushing it a bit too far, but they didn’t have a horse called “Some time in Q2 we’ll have gold pipe assays”
Obviously still all the associated risks with this share, but equally still the upside of getting in early. Just wish I’d stuck more than I did at .2, but with hindsight trading we’d all be millionaires. Either way I’m very comfortable with my risk here and am happy to bide my time. Just have Trojan buzzing in my head to think about when a placing might come to support 2022.
Have a good weekend all.
I’m a gambling man. I’ll give you 10 to 1 on a gold pipe at 10m
What odds on a ‘gold pipe’ from hole 5 though.... :)
* however that’s from the very beginning. Obviously companies rock chip sample, trench, survey the ground etc to narrow down those odds.
Just watched an interview they posted on Twitter, pretty broad brush about everything as it was for school students but a few take aways.
Their timeframe in mind to do enough drilling so they can get a true estimate on a resource before they sell it is 2 - 3 years so that puts our investment into prospective for whoever is here for a quick buck.
Plus they said 1 in 5,000 to 1 in 10,000 prospects develops into a fully fledged mine. Let’s hope it’s our time haha.
cekim - Yeah exactly that's my point. so TL clearly isn't expecting bad results because he's laid £5k down
Or he's just been up his allocation for the future. I'm expecting assays this week. Crossing my fingers
Also price of transaction was 1p more than the immediate previous one , which again would suggest a buy . Big vote of confidence. Roll on next week .
Definitely showing as a buy on This is Money and Investing.com .
Is it a buy ?
Somebody must be expecting good results here soon. After all , a 8 mill buy , after hours showing on investing.com , is not an everyday occurrence on this board . Have a good weekend all LTH .
if i was expecting bad results i wouldn't buy £5 worth never mind £5k
But if you were expecting bad results you’d still buy £5k worth. It doesn’t matter who you are or how much money you have, 5k is 5k.
He’s expecting, from previous interviews, the next lot of holes to be a little more encouraging. He’ll have already seen a detailed breakdown of the core before being sent off to the labs. Time will tell but it’s certainly not negative news when your ceo buys more shares whilst 1,400m of assays are anticipated.
If i was expecting good results i would buy more than 5k.
It’s been 10 days since we received the assays for Hole 1. Within the same RNS it was made clear that Oriole have completed a further 13 holes (probably more by now), and are awaiting assays which are due soon. And during this wait, the ceo has decided to add another 600,000 shares taking his allocation over 9million,hmmmm. Now if he was expecting bad results, why would he then go and spend £5k of his own money in topping up, instead of waiting ?
One spark will ignite this whole share and I feel it’s coming very soon.
