Now then !!
I can’t say I don’t think about why the results seem to be held back. But maybe there have been other Covid impacts or they got a lot of cores back at once and want to map them out to present a better picture to the market.
Either way, we have couple of weeks and we’ll have had a Q&A session, an AGM and in all likelihood some results.
An equal mixture of excitement and apprehension but confident in the team, whether this set of results or the next batch ORR will come good for us.
Don’t worry Kuttz, plenty of ways to do beans on toast whilst wait, I’m hoping you won’t need to eat it for much longer!
Cheers Leathal. In this together mate. Enjoy your evening and see you here tomorrow
Hi Kutzz
Lets hope we dont regret selling up a certain comp to get in here only for the obvious to happen !! The amount of times thats crossed my mind haha !
I hope for you more than anyone pal this comes good , its been a shocking couple of wks across the markets strange times , see you here tomoz 7am sharpish
Leathal
I hear you Leathal, it’s funny how the delay makes your confidence low for one reason or another when in reality it probably makes very little difference. If they are poor you’ll get everyone saying that’s why they were late but it may not be.
They have been quiet on all fronts recently so no doubt they are working hard behind the scenes.
I really don’t know what to expect…. The first hole was poor. We know they have seen areas up to 13m of mineralisation (3m , 9m) etc but are they too narrow? Unless they have bonanza grades.
I just hope we have good results!!!!!!!! I’ve manifested that thought enough, it just needs to happen
Im trying to remain positive , although i think we should hear something this wk i cant help think grades might not be up to what we are hoping for , the markets are all over the place at the min iv no confidence in any share at present .. The fact theae results have taken so long to be published just makes me feel uneasy , hopefully im just reading into things to much and all will be fine , oh well all the best to all and once again lets hope this is he wk we can atleast be put out of our misery one way or another
Leathal
I've almost half written off Senala short term, because of Tim's comments on the possible fun and games he expects iamgold to play.
For me Cameroon is crucial so that we can outlast any of those fun and games and for Cameroon itself obviously.
We already know, historical grades from 'Fare' at Senala been awesome. Good strike length also. IAMGOLD carrying on with their earn in Option at Senala and looking for further expansion with their increased Diamond drilling work programme with ORR on free carry there.
At Cameroon, ORR working through previous 4 zones alrady identified and the 'New' discovered zones with strike length and width increasing further. Land package at Cameroon is huge. Just need few juicy jaw dropping grades to attract a Major like Barrick Gold or Anglo Ashanti to come in as JV or earn in basis, etc.
Lot of value to be unlocked here in my view, just a matter of time. Covid related delays globally been frustrating for all investors. But eventually we should start getting assays back to back hopefully making up for lost time.
Meanwhile cash from warrants and Royalties income keeps coming in from other assets.
GLA, DYOR
Well at least there will be news next week. Its the last day to submit questions.
Regardless of the delay in assays - I trust in TL. His track history isn’t one of pulling the wool over peoples eyes.
Yes it’s v frustrating, yes we were expecting assays ‘as and when’ & ‘throughout q2’ but that’s not how this played out. The closer we get the more frustrated we become.
They feel tantalisingly close and have done for the last 2 months. Surely next week, surely next......
Multiply that with a deflating share price and of course everyone is going to be f**ked off. It’s been week after week for 2 months of nothing but red days and almost zero comms.
Let’s hope it’s all worth it in the end.
Ha yea i notice UKI only pops up when the chips are down, if memory serves correct back in Jan/Feb when ghe share got pumped to high heaven he was right in the thick of it .. Anyways all the best to genuine holders, thanks again Jack you seem to be one of the good guys
Leathal
And I’d argue you have an agenda because anyone that actually understands the play in Omi should know last results were first of a series due under a jv free carry with a major...
You just got owned!
Sorry for off topic oriolers
I’d also suggest it’s not just about the charts, but being aware of wider market. For example GLR placed recently and settlement is today, Shard were involved in that placing (as well as ORRs) and those in the GLR placing would need money from somewhere..
Odd the UKI pops up here with that little speculative comment admitting not invested? Soon to be invested, maybe? We all want a good entry price but dont be a Di@k about it
Assay results/drilling results/financial results are delayed all the time - especially beyond PI expectations - we have been advised 'end of Q2'.
Jack, nice one pal think im just getting a bit twitchy mate, ah well with the Euros starting tonightbil have a few beers and forget about it , just wish i had funds to load up on France to win the thing !
Have a good wkend
I'd argue you've already had the answer on omi - their results were late and poor last time
Investor might be correct but it’s pure speculation and the mm’s will play on fear.
I have exactly the same situation on another gold explorer with delayed assays, Omi. Same price actio over there, same doubts being raised but delays are delays..
One final thing then I’m taking my own advice abou switching off. Look how low the mcap already is here, even if the results aren’t great and SP does dip shouldn’t last for long as enough other stuff going on to justify a 10 mill mcap so much negativity whether just or unjust already priced in.
Have a good weekend mate
Your right Jack thanks for the shoulder , im just a bit concerned by UK investors comments if im honest , im pretty new to investing so unsure if such dealys with assays is a common thing
Cheers
I haven't held for a while but ddelay in assays is outrageous. simply don't believe they had one so fast then no more
Either the core is faulty and needs to be redone or results are poor and delaying closer to Senala results so no news vaccuum
See delay in CHF announcing their last holes till before new drilling campaign
Genuinely think this can and will turn on a sixpence and then all of a sudden it’s .9-1 to buy what’s sold at. .7 overnight, maybe even on no news.
If I wasn’t already consulting weightwatchers about my current position here I’d be adding but fired all my bullets early and have to manage risks..
Shame to see this drift even lower but there is strong support in this area, hopefully back over 1p fairly soon.... Current and prospective value here at such a low mcap. News maybe Monday... there have been a few intraday updates but might be hoping for a bit much. Holding strong.
Leathal that’s exactly how the market makers want you to feel so that people roll over and fill their coffersz
Be resolute unless fundamentals change imo.
As long as your not leveraged/getting margin called switch off for a bit. Don’t let them get you down with their counter intuitive tactics.
Genuinlely sick of this share !! Iv tried to hold my **** together but every day it just dips lower !! Wish i had stuck with David Price and the team even that had more going for it than this ! Sorry bad day
Warrants churn bringing in cash to fund the "extended" drill program in Cameroon where they already discovered more Gold mineralisation zones on top of the 4 key zones already known.
Gold mineralisation strike length also seems to get bigger, with some new width extensions.
Hopefully soon, we can get some juicy bonanza Gold grades to attract the big majors like Barrick Gold.
I am really excited being invested here.
I’ve sent my questions in. Hopefully I’ll get some answers back and also answers to questions I hadn’t even thought of so really looking forward to that.
Then we have the AGM where I’m hoping the board will be laying out the strategy for the coming fiscal and putting more meat on the bone.
And aligned to both of these we have assay results coming in June for Cameroon and hopefully not long after Fare/Phase 1 in Senegal.
To top it all off, our JV partner IAMGOLD shifted their Phase 2 drilling of this years earn in to a site 15km from where they have committed $60m in spend.
Everything is reliant on good results but come on, it feels good to take the risk here abs place to be looking forward playing the game rather than standing on the side lines.
Yes we get twitchy when the SP is sliding and the news isn’t communicated as we’d like, but we certainly aren’t bed wetters, we’re investors who are nervously excited about imminent news and I for one am looking forward to the next few months.
No ramping about what the SP will be, just that with TL leading, some strong results and hopefully a strong plan laid out for asset realisation to deliver share holder value, today is a good day to hold ORR stock.
Yes if results are poor, I’ll be disappointed and will be xxxxed off but that’s life and I’d rather take a risk and get a bit twitchy than take no risks at all.
Good luck Hunniford/Kutzz and all. Trojan, keep chucking your £4k’s in and sit back. The ride will not be over quickly (I hope) but at least you’ll feel like you’ve been on one by the end!
