Earache I'm planning to subscribe when the IPO happens subject to funds arriving in time. I think there is value in POLB as a standalone company. Any clues as to the subscription price?
It seems to me that the benefit of the spin outs is not accruing to ORPH but to ORPH shareholders. Keeping these 2assets" within ORPH is only of value if ORPH can do something with them but just lying around unable to be developed because of cost required gives nothing to shareholders and indeed the "asset" may atrophy and lose value if not developed. Whether the rumpORPH is worth less without these underdeveloped "assets" is a calculation which each shareholder must make for themselves.
Earache, where did CF say the spin offs would be 10-20% of the ORPH MCAP?
I think that one statement wasn't clear and has been misunderstood by many PIs
As for a valuation, they can only value it and RNS that when they have done the fundraising. It's incredible how people want that figure, which is impossible to give and at the same time moan about missed timescales.
Earache. I'm not buying the POLB shares, they are free. My original intention , which remains exactly the same is that i invest in Open Orphan and give it another 18 months or so. The fact they will be giving me free shares in four separate company's along the way, is surely a blessing. The fact I will have to hold these four new company's for nine months is the least of my worry's........what am i missing!
Yes Earache - I lolled at that too!
I tend you agree with you there Earache. Anyway still holding my shares but not my breath!
i dont think it helps having the lock up for 9 months. May be putting some people off to have 10-20% x 4 of your holding taken away and locked up for 9 months.?
I'll make you a deal moniman..
If Richardson doesn't sell I'll go away and never post again but if he does sell a sizeable chunk you'll go away and never post again..
We mr contrarian there's been a large 31.90 offer out there on and off all day..
FYI that is lower than where I sold..
At least extrader came up with a logical idea of what Richardson could do.
Bronx you really are making yourself look stupid…give it a rest you’re becoming boring!!!!!!!zzzzzzzzzzz
“Richardson would be an idiot not to take some off the table.."
I’m sure Richardson will be chuffed to be receiving investment advice from the guy that sold at the 90 day low, right at the starting line of an epic bull run.
.."Richardson would be an idiot not to take some off the table.."
No idea about his personal circs, myself, he could also hedge his bets and just write some covered options and generate some income whilst waiting for the market to catch up...
IMO
.."Maybe Cathal Friel might get some of his hedge buddies involved as well..."
The line-up of parties involved in the ORPH story is already very heavily weighted towards the Irish connection.
People talk of the Welsh Taffia and the Scots Spaffia, both after the Italian you know who , what's the Irish equivalent ?
Slightly more seriously, with so many if the Irish 'great and good' involved , CF has a lot of 'face' at stake as well as money, so doubly motivated to make this all work, IMO.
Sounds like a deramp...
As soon as £10m RNS drops (maybe tomorrow), CF is then free to buy. The SP will start to work northwards IMHO.
GLA
I doubt Cathal Friel will buy in the open market.I'd imagine it will have be a long term arrangement with Tony Richardson (now that he is freed up)..probably mid market of the daily closing price..
This is not a deramp.. Richardson would be an idiot not to take some off the table.Maybe Cathal Friel might get some of his hedge buddies involved as well.
Totally agree. It is similar to the selling on the last day of the cum-div for Poolbeg. WT??
When someone is giving you a freebie and you turn it down.
Just listened to last weeks Video interview and find it baffling that shareholders are selling!!!
Why wouldn't they wait (at least a week or 2) to see if CF comes good on his statement that there is news to be announced that will make shareholders happy???? Quite Bizarre
