Haven’t you soon the moronic trading in the last 6 months. Everywhere?
There’s too many stupid peeps aka furlough kiddies - no idea why at a DCF is - have you ?
Let's face it, they are paid to come up with some old twaddle to satisfy punters incessant demand for a story. It doesn't much matter what they say. Preferably it's credible, but all that really counts is the bottom line, as Mr 'moony' Beam will tell you
It's rare that i agree with Jack Daniels but i think the furlough excuse is poor. Merely referencing the poorly performing AIM market would be ok, but to blame it on a specific group of investors is just being too creative.
Good to see 20p being paid near the close - didn't think i'll be saying that a few months ago!!
Cool story bro
I don't see any other Companies or CEO's using the furlough excuse.
If you could point me in that direction where that is the case!
Maximise profit..lol..or lose your shirt
You do realise most day traders lose money.
I echo the comment and sentiment around PIs entering and exiting the market as a result of furlough. I was one of those investors along with a couple of co-workers and we did just as described with our furlough money - maximise profit in a short timeframe as possible, before returning to work.
ORPH was one of those stocks - fantastic upside in a short space of time with exceptional profits made. In and out within a few months.
I can understand the SP depression over the past six months due to low PIs investing. Needs a significant increase in IIs rather than PIs to get this back to where it should be. Fundamentals are there but sentiment isn't and I don't think will be until the Spring with (hopeful) demergers etc.
DYOR
May then they shouldn't be turning away DIM business from Google or Apple or Fitbit,Elrico.
If they ever were tyre kicking.
I was going to add...there has been an increase in emotional outbursts, much of it on here.
I have seen people complain about CF exuberance and even suggest he stop doing presentations. But, on the other hand, the same people have been saying CF needs to come out of hiding and tell us what is going on.
It's straightforward. The delayed government-sponsored study has caught out ORPH. CF and his team have been working dam hard chasing new contracts, which have in turn prevented them from cracking on with the spinouts. They do not have the workforce to keep pace.
If you have spare wonga, view the decline as an opportunity you may have missed on the way up.
Timber,
There is a lot of sense in the WB email. I have often commented there has been a lot of furlough investing, and opined it will be interesting to see how they behave when the market/macro's change for the worse. Most will never have experienced a declining in market sentiment, as many will have bought near the lows of the COVID decline.
I looked at the 3 so called good companies you mentioned..ODX DDDD AVCT..
Pretty much all have little or no revenues and DDDD has a whopping 1/2 yearly loss. .
But keep buying those dodgy AIM companies.
I’m not blaming you. I am pointing out your stupidity. There are many good stocks with good management that have halved in value this year. Bored with this. Bye
Don't blame me cause you've lost your shirt on AIM stocks.
If you have good management the share price will sustain itself no matter what index they're on.
I actually thought I had u erased not sure how up popped back.
If you can’t see the current trend in AIM stocks then defo go back to work - if anyone will employ you. And please don’t tell me your a successful multi millionaire businessman lol
All by these forloughed workers Jimzi?
So has the management of those companies you mentioned used Open Orphan's lame excuse?
ODX, AVCT, DDDD Gild plus 1000 others whose mcap has fallen 50% at some point . Get a life man and do something constructive- maybe some work?
I wonder what other companies these phantom rogue traders on furlough were speculating in?
Surely they must have punted on other shares?
Maybe they too were mesmerised by Cathal's charisma.
Jim, briefly took you off filter to see what possible explanation you could give for sharing CF’s number.
So the CEO, in his concern for an investor and their worries, offers his personal mobile number for a chat, and all you can do is share it here and STILL dig the guy out despite not having the guts to call him. What person in their right mind would do that when presented with a golden opportunity like that? How many CEO’s would go to such lengths to allay investor fears?
What a spineless, toxic disgrace you are Jim. Shame on you. You deserve banning for sharing his number and betraying trust like that.
Timber.I got his number surprisingly from Walbrook this morning and then they sent me that dodgy email which apparently Walbrook are sending to everyone.
No point in me speaking to him,he's full of it.
People are getting fleeced here because of unfulfilled promises by Friel.
RNS's are all that matter
JB - Thankfully I have you filtered; but if you have CF’s mobile number why on earth don’t you just call him and vent all your angry complaints to the man himself, rather than defaming him on here and boring everyone with your negativity and moaning, which is unhelpful and achieves absolutely nothing? I suggest the simple and honest answer is you clearly haven’t got the balls and prefer to anonymously hide behind a keyboard criticising and abusing a man who you know won’t answer back and who is doing a job I suspect is far beyond your capabilities.
You'd think so but I guess it was pursued against Ryan but who knows if cathal or anyone else will against JB
If that’s what he did then surely what goes for one must go for another?
Jimbeann went one step further and posted Cathals's personal mobile number earlier (since removed). Totally unacceptable and should warrant a lifetime ban like Ryan got. Where is the outcry about that sort of thing this time around?
I'm not here to make friends so I couldn't give a fiddler's f why you think.
Friel needs to be called out on his BS!!
JB maybe you should apply for a job for the Irish Independent in the same email, you talk that much rubbish and you think your opinions that important you'd fit right in.
That said imagine being so angry and bitter from past events that you'd try and publicly shame a man by forwarding an email to a newspaper..... hopefully you can let go of all this anger one day JB
JB, have you cc'd a copy to the Pope, Boris and the Queen?
