I've been watching the cricket, and missed both yesterdays and todays SP action. More fool me, but I'm richer anyway, and not worried in the slightest about CF's style and ability. I reckon he could sell anything to Boris, even wearables data.
Carry on Cathal, despite the infamy, hur hur hur hur.
Agree Jimzi. I don’t see what else CF could have done. The crowd were asking for an RNS last night, they got one, telling it how it is and it got sold into. I stated earlier today the II’s wouldn’t sell into it but on reflection there’s no doubt in my mind they did, the SP never spiked once, it did it’s normal staircase number. To be fair, the SP volume was big today so hopefully they won’t be around for long. I stated previously that it’s the one area where CF scored an own goal, having 12 institutions on board rather than 2 or 3 long term investors was wrong. This business is doing fantastic business, we can’t control others actions but cream always rises and we will get a run at it. Nothing comes easy in life, we will always have days like these but we will reap what we sow, maybe sooner than we think.GLA
Thank you for your cervix Brook :)
Lol some people on here chat some absolute nonsense LMAO
Yes I am for real, normal trading for an AIM company correct, as I said, I've been here many times with IAM companies that issue a speeding ticket and I am thoroughly bored of it, I expected much better here to be honest. Yes I may re-read this in a month and think mistake, however I may have found another investment that can give a better return for my heavy capital investment, that's my choice as an investor. Just a couple of words in todays RNS could have capitalised on the global news coverage, simples init.
“CF has 2 weeks to get his crap in order,“
Are you for real?
There seems to be a contagious loosing the plot syndrome atm- maybe another lucrative opp for CF.
Just re- read your posts next month.
This is normal trading ffs - how it warrants a meltdown by some is completely incomprehensible- we’ve been volatile since March 20 .
Gla those who haven’t lost it.
Deepjoy, you are right, I am bloody threaders with this hanging in here for bloody months now,,, I'll tell you what I think, CF has 2 weeks to get his crap in order, if we get a decent 20-30% raise on official news then great but I have been here before with AIM companies that issue speeding tickets and it is never pretty afterwards, never the same as fresh news. For an ex broker as chairman I expect more to be honest. What a big bag of toss today has been, CF please bloody capitalise on worldwide PR for gods sake, it was there for the taking, today you failed big man.
Hi Deepjoy,
Thanks for being so candid but everyone can chose when to buy and sell whenever they choose.
As Jimzi says if you watch every SP movement and do get emotionally attached you will find the ride a roller coaster.
Yesterday afternoon would be euphoric and today the opposite.But if I said to you yesterday morning we would have been where we are now you would probably be very happy.
Anyway I have found it is best to not be too attached and watching the screens 24/7 is best left to the “ professionals” who are operating a variety of positions.
It is mentally tiring but the name of the game is profit and you will have achieved that so worth celebrating even though I am very confident in the next few months taking us to much higher levels of the SP
Quite right Deepjoy. Each to their own, I completely understand your viewpoint as it can be taxing but it’s share dealing, and unfortunately we’re the pawns in this game. Always good to take a step back and reevaluate. I have slowly been trimming down my shares in the past month and moving it elsewhere. I was over exposed here but I actually believe we are on the precipice of news now, so I added more today. Patience is the most valuable commodity in share dealing and this will come good. Enjoyed your contribution and honesty which is a rarity on these boards. Im sure you’ll be back soon ;-)
Mark,
Just a reminder what the fundraise was for :
he net proceeds of the Fundraising will be used to
o Maximise available Covid-19 opportunities including accelerating the development of both a seasonal coronavirus and a Covid-19 virus challenge study model to capitalise upon Group's inbound demand from Covid-19 vaccine developers globally. These challenge study models have the ability to speed up the development of a vaccine by 2-3 years;
o Ramp up Covid-19 antiviral testing to the Group's current capacity for 3,000 tests per day;
o Expand existing laboratory testing services to 3rd party pharmaceutical and biotech companies in line with our strategy of becoming a leading services provider to the growing viral, and respiratory diseases sector of the pharmaceutical industry; and
o Strengthen the balance sheet to enable the Group to take advantage of the significant and growing opportunities the Board believes are available.
Now last time I checked, we had installed an antibody test machine which may well be contributing to future profits and will certainly come into its own as Covid19 Human Challenge Study volunteers are vetted before commencing the trials , during and post the trials, and a succession of new and bigger contracts are being announced inferring the money has indeed helped to grow the business.
JH I always question your motives on this board, but they're becoming more transparent of late. What exactly has CF said wrong?
His only fault in my eyes has been a seem8ngly completely pointless opportunistic cash raise, proven by the cash pile we now sit on being well above the raise value and a profitable company meaning it should never be called upon.
It's that which has given rise to the sustained selling and not anything CF has said or any action the company has taken which has been positive pretty much exclusively.
Deepjoy nothing wrong with trimming an unbalanced holding; stick your proceeds in premium bonds if you want a steady holding, much less stressful but can get a bit boring watching the value stay the same if we have another lockdown :)
Fair dos but most stocks are mentally tiring atm if you follow them too closely!
This is turning into a heavy traded share which of course suits the mms [who love their delayed trades!!] so we can expect 10% moves daily - think of poor old me on SBs - luckily bought some time ago.
I share you thoughts deepjoy, ive personnally had enough of Friel constantly putting a downer on the SP
Maybe a decent businessman but his gobs a liability when it comes to SP levels.
all day...whilst this ain't going to be popular, I just thought I share with the LTHs here that I trimmed my holding today by a far margin. The more I think about it, the more the current valuation (as of today) seems a fair one and bang on the broker projections taking all into account. So I've always seen the broker valuation as my medium term target so sold a fair bit out now.
The second reason is far more simple and the main one- I am mentally tired of the journey, I had the end of October in mind as some of you will know but to be honest this isn't fun anymore but that's just my personal feeling.
All the very best to each of you on here I am sure you will do very well I've just had my fill of second guessing everything mentally and emotionally I was too attached... still hold but not enough to get my mind racing too much for the first time in a long time. best wishes DJ
