Wild speculation about why a major holder may be selling, which amounts to no more than a guess, is not helpful. More than a whiff of desperation on here sometimes. Unless you're day trading, count the time in weeks and months, not minutes and hours.
Meanwhile the 1 million buyer continues
Sometimes this gets a bit painful. BHC have sold 34million shares difference between RNS on 4th may and 4th June (207,300,000 less 173,300,000). There is no "dilution adjustment" that is merely additional shares in issue.. printed if you like by ORCP when the warrants are exercised - clue is the number of shares in issue goes up.
That is a pretty hefty shift given the low volumes in this. Why are they selling who knows.. all we know is they are. Are they still selling? who knows again.
The sheik has not bought the shares as we know the difference between his old holding and his new holding ties to the number of warrants exercised.
Que boring clamoring of "dreamping" for pointing out the basic and obvious by the LOI 5P!, SP 50p by december ludicrous ramping gang.
He could have at market price but I was referring to the warrants 100 million.
GLA
So the Sheikh may have bought them
I agree Ben they have only sold 10% they could control the share price so why not no risk, they still have 173 million shares. They have used the new diluted figure 1.979,913,151 If Brandon have sold the difference between 207 million and 173 million less the dilution 12 million they have sold approx 22 million extra.
100 million purchased and retained by the sheikh approx 5.4% of the company. So the buys win the day.
GLA
Not implying they know more than we do as that would be insider trading. Simply saying don't buyin to the fact that an II must have a reason to be selling that relates to the company, they could be reducing holdings for any number of reasons. Also the idea of an II seing trading is ludicrious, more so on a share with such low daily AVG volume
Jstar,
The first few lines of your comment made my day! Well done mate. "They are selling that volume in a micro cap stock to buy in later? from whom? and to increase their overall holding - why not just erm.. buy?" :D
Well THANKS TO NAHEED, at least we don't know when the LOI drops, apparently, BHC knows it very well so they can take advantage of the SP swing if you are sure about your comment Ben!
Sorry but what utter nonsense. They are selling that volume in a micro cap stock to buy in later? from whom? and to increase their overall holding - why not just erm.. buy? maybe at 0.5/0.6 last month or even convert some of those o/s warrants at 0.25p.
Nobody knows why they are selling, cashflow issues? another opportunity? all we know is that they have been selling anything else is just as speculative as saying SP will be 50p in Dec.
The Sheiks holding has been confirmed thats the good news of the day - along with the obvious that now ORCP has more cash from warrants (that would have been exercised at some point) to not do a raise before more news hopefully comes. GLA
I never underatand the musings of people trying to predict why an II sells or buys. I can garuntee that BHC started selling when we hit 1.2 hence the short lived rise and then constant selling pressure at .9. They may be shifting the portfolios around seen as it had seen a 100% increase from the 6m lows of .55. If they knew something we didn't they be dumping alot more agressively
I am not sure of the motive, I am just hypothesising. I would suspect that the Sheikh knows more about internal politics in a country like Pakistan better than Brandon Hill which is likely informed only by Naheed to an extent.
I sold my stake a few days ago for 90p and bought it back again today for 90p when Level 2 exploded (just ahead of the RNS). However you slice it, the Brandon Hill TR1 is bad timing, no wonder it was at 4:30 rather than the earlier TR1 for the Sheikh.
The Sheikh is no mug and the price is *okay* a bit miffed not to buy back a larger holding than I had but I am a tiny bit more settled now that the Sheikh has bought and held. Then again, the Sheikh would think nothing of that money locked down for 4/5 years whereas I would.
Trilla,
In fact, if you are right, this should not be a piece of good news for us!! If BHC has gone for a quick trade only for a 20% to 30% profit, with such big risks, then simply means they cannot foresee a bigger profit for at least the next few months ahead! Damn it Naheed, update us properly to see what the hell is going on! you have already missed the deadline and this the investor's right to be updated. Stop this bloody cheap game and tell us the good/bad news.
Trilla, Maybe you are right. But the irritating part is that big companies usually don't do these kinds of quick trades. In May the share price was around 0.65p and on 3rd July the share price was around 0.8p the reward/risk was not that big for a punt for such a big financial group.
I am not saying you are not right, but as an investor, I don't completely buy the idea.
Simply it means they have sold around 33 mil shares!!
Based on the 7th of May Nazario consultancy sold out its shares, and BHC increased its position based on the $th May. Now just about to get a huge update about the LOI they have sold 33mil shares. I don't understand why would they do that?
The SP rose by around 45% over time - that's not a bad scoop for any company. They sold and rebought before if you remember ?
Based on my calculation, BHC was owning 11.09% of 1,868913151 shares which means around 207 mil shares. The total number of shares in issue has been increased since the last notice for 111 mil. Hence, if you calculate the current percentage means (207mil/1979913151)*100= 10.46%, this clearly means they have sold some shares and have reduced their position!! But Why??
Probably a bit of both.
Good point Chelcele the date happened was 3rd which was the original date of admission. Need to get calculator out.
GLA
Their shares have become available in the market because they have sold them - i understand how you've made their mistake but they've reduced their holding. That figure shows everything that they *DONT* own.
They don't own every share lol I have 2 million.
GLA
OMG Cowboy come on!!!! that is the total number of shares in issue!!
BHC have increase their position from 1,868,913,151 to 1,979,913,151
Has BHC actually sold, or this reduction in their position is due to a change in the total number of shares in the issue?
Reduced 8.75%
