Martin,
I'm getting the proverbial splinters in my seat due to sitting on the proverbial fence. :)
I may wait until I've seen SOH being grilled at TW Hovel in September. I'm seriously tempted to go down, armed with my tent, a few troopers and a good book just in case. :)
Cromwell
Sounds like a summer holiday in Bridlington!
Choleric, Why don't you join Greenpeace and chain yourself to a buoy in the north sea!
You will always be a hero to me Elrico..a brilliant mathematician ,great researcher, fantastic authority on just about everything, great friend of multiple CEOs,not to mention your network of HNWIs.Its no wonder you developed delusions of grandeur with all these qualities and to me you are simply one helluva guy.
I bought in here again as soon as you sold so I am so grateful.
Elrico - better get back in quick ;) And BTW, we've never met and we are miles apart politically but I have you down as a good bloke.
Aqua,
Thank you for your kind words. I am truly humbled and grateful.
I have always felt very nervous before each podcast interview. The clue is that I have c #cked up the beginning of everyone despite having preprepared introductions. I am unsure how anyone who feels uncomfortable and nervous can come across as arrogant, self-righteous, smug and have an inflated ego, especially at a masterful height of 5.6", looking more Hobbit-like.
Rebarm,
Ref my comments on the SP rise. You may have missed the point about my comments being cheeky. I try not to take myself too seriously. That said, you also must have missed the point I made that the Twin Pete's Investing podcast would have brought the Companies featured to a potentially new audience, which is often a good thing.
I am not sure why you are so upset about my eagerness to clarify my comments during the podcast in a supplementary podcast on my own. I got a lot of good feedback in my inbox and the odd favourable one on another BB.
For the record, I still have an interest in OPTI doing well. I don't have any shares, but I hold PBX, and two of my three sons remain invested. They disagree with their old fart of a father. Kids, today!! :)
I am confident I will become an investor again, so if it is OK with you, I will keep my eye on OPTI. If only for my sons and a few friends that also remain invested.
Have some humility, and be more respectful, if only for your public persona.
The claim that you were responsible for the OPTI sp rise after your negative commentary on the Two Oiks podcast will do for starters.
Furthermore, as you are no longer an OPTI shareholder perhaps you could clear off and take your over inflated ego and smug, self-righteousness with you!
Skid, I may not agree with all elric(o)'s comments and views and am quick to say so when I believe he has got it wrong, but I do enjoy listening to his podcasts and reading his opinions and the BBs would be much duller without them. Surprised he is a climate change denier especially as many of his kind are at risk
https://sciencenorway.no/agriculture--fisheries-biology-ecology/falling-lemming-populations/1374950
but maybe that's what comes from living in Manchester with its high rainfall masking the full effects of climate change felt everywhere else. Disagree with your comment about the large ego although I understand why you would think that; the private side of elric comes across as a very humble, kind and generous guy so don't get fooled by the public persona.
Thanks for all this information. Much appreciated.
when i posted it only two had viewed - probably himself and mike?
now more views than subscribers seemingly (53)
