I strongly agree with you Degsy, a journey to unearth 'pennies to pound' in potential can be truly fulfilled here. Period. And I'm in it to win it.
And as many sensible contributors have expressed here several times.........a rare opportunity to find/ get into.
For me, all my analysis over last two years suggests so and I cannot stress enough.
But, DYOR, before anyone pounce on me :)
This place don't need any mis selling, ramping, or under mining your intelligence.
If you've any doubt.........you better be out and now!
Good luck.
Professor,
I agree, indeed I anticipate exciting proactive times from here on wards and upwards too.
I know what you mean regarding Newmont to continue into this new phase :)
Technically we're still in phase 1, except as per the June 2020 corporate presentation:
"• Significant change of pace: From September 2020,
Newmont are contracted to spend minimum US$4
million/ Year in the ground (compared to US$1
million / year in last 2 years)"
And confirmation of NMs support to it (backed by $500k payment) on 3rd Sept adds profound weight to it.
About strike length to 8/ 9 kms from 2.5Kms, tonnage etc comment, I trust NM/ OMIs professional expertise
and having seen the commitment of buying 19.9% shares at premium to begin with, backed by Cash payments etc
simply enhances my faith in their due diligence on prospects and potential of Anza project.
Further to add to this, Swiss investor Continental IP is with us since 2017 and they aren't going anywhere, plus our Ex-Ceo
and Loryser won't sell their stake at current pop corn price speaks in volume for any prudent investor to ponder on it.
But, from your post, what I'm most impressed with is your belief in the 'permit issue'.
Now, let me tell you, I'm on this case since AGM 2019 and I've had several email exchange and
discussion with our Ex-ceo on this topic, predominantly because as LTH I need to know plus a few
BB contributors have express their concern too.
What I've received as response in a nutshell so far is:
OMI has permitting strategy which are actively manged by the team and they believe it is going according to the plan.
Recent RNS suggests-
"Anzá is a gold exploration project, comprising three exploration licences, four exploration licence applications, and several small exploitation permits, totalling 207.5km2 in the prolific Mid-Cauca belt of Colombia.
The Anzá Project is currently wholly owned by Orosur via its subsidiary, Minera Anzá S.A."
He also said- It did not make sense to progress the permitting for others until you get the capital to do something with them.
In other words, and imo they've enough to kick off the exploration to begin with. APTA, Charrascala and Guiaramala are ready to drill. Rest can follow when the right money/ time/ interest will come. Perhaps later in 2021.
He also noted that- " Anyway, I take the point and will ask the team to expand more in the quarterly reports on these matters."In other words, I expect some sort of clarification to calm the nerves of a few here :)
But, NM is not perturbed.....and I'm certainly not.
And I agree with you professional, it is just an admin one, nothing has changed.
NM has enough to kick off the exploration in near future. They're sort of running out of the time, should they wish to commit for the JV.
And I believe, as Brad, our Ceo commented-
"We have long valued Newmont as both partner and major shareholder, and we are delighted with their decision to continue to work with us on the Anza Project.
Go
Reversal at close of play today. GGP dizzy heights are destined for holders here. Starting today from £5m cap we have a serious ride up north ahead for us...fully funded complements of Newmont
This is the only way for a minnow to make it to the upper tiers of success in a timely and efficient manner as was the case for GGP.
GLA
Thanks Bhargav, Degsy
It is indeed looking very good from here. For Newmont to continue into this new phase, I believe the remaining permit issue may just be an admin one. If you consider the intervening land area between the targets and if that shows up excellent grades as the targets have shown then what you will have is the strike length increasing to 8/ 9 kms from 2.5 kms. The overall tonnage becomes mind boggling. I would love to put some figures to this.
Thanks Professor, great to see you're back :)
And volume is rising/ sustaining each day..
Hope you're well.
Good luck.
Thanks professor. Another bonus when a major is taking the lead and funding the way for a minnow like OMI
