I'm in a number of those Bitcoinbuyer and in terms of baggers from its current price, I put OMI ahead of the pack. I never used to, I had ECR (Which i still really like and heavily invested in) but when you break down the historic drilling campaigns, their grades and widths don't compare to OMI, not on a continuous basis. They have a number of small campaigns across numerous targets with nothing with STEEL substance. That's what 2021 is for with ECR, get on the ground and prove up what you think is there.
You can run a company brilliantly, with finances, social media, presentations. But you can only beat it so hard until it all comes down to what's in the ground. You don't need Havieron style hits for transformational gains, but you do need high grade. At the minute, there's nothing in the junior exploration space that can compare with what Orosur have going on with Apta. Grades over 200g/t. 0.4m@948g/t, 70m@3g/t. Funded, 5 drill rigs, 2 majors on board. I like EEE and they're going to be on a pathway to production soon and will multibag from here, but it is very small scale in comparison
Not a cross ramp and there's money to be made throughout the junior exploration space, but for it's price, especially 15p, OMI is the pick of the bunch :)
I think BCB was name dropping 5 others... whilst stating the strength of opp here in OMI. least that's how I read it and knowing his posting/wandering around this site it makes sense.
Bitcoinbuyer - thanks for sharing your experience and sage advice: "My advice from learning the hard way ... is When you have good grades there is a mine... Hold on through the bumpy dips and spikes ... Will be really glad you did."
Notice OMI ain't in your top 5, lol. But there are so man opportunities around - too many.
Sorry 5 listed... Missed KAV..
No RNS... Newmont had signed and paid the initial payment .. Shares shot up to I think 5.8p ish...
Then slipped back to 2p ish and remained dormant for a good long while.. Liabilities from their other project were
holding the SP back... ... It was like watching paint dry waiting for Newmont to make a move and the other liabilities to be
agreed ... Could well have been wound up... Newmont and this project saved the day ..
Sadly missed out on the gain as held on through the dip back to 2p and sold When totally broken by a Tomco RNS
5pm Friday afternoon... Its all a learning curve.. painful at times.
I also missed out on the GGP rise... Well part of it... When Newmont walked I jumped back in for 6m shares @ .50p
I did very well but sold far too early and the SP kept rising and never really dropped back until now... So back in at Sub 20p
My advice from learning the hard way ... is When you have good grades there is a mine... Hold on through the bumpy dips and spikes ... Will be really glad you did.
OMI has had some good price action but has only just started ... 3 years from now this will be mega...
Stocks with most price potential upside awaiting the initial price action in order... Cobra Resources... ECR... Palm... EEE...
KAV... There are others but the 4 listed could present life changing gains. I would like to think 10 baggers to start with .
Just my opinion, please ...DYOR
All the best
Gosh you had 5%, did you have to make a declaration and was there an rns, and then you sold before Newmont bought in?
Yes, 5 rigs on the go at present
I think they have 5 drill rigs.... not sure
Just the assay delay holding this back
I am thinking the 2 majors directing the 4 drill rigs ... Will be saying yes on assay confirmation..
Then 50p to £1 will become a daily reality
Columbia needs Jobs.... Gold mines are the new nose bag... :)
I had 6m of these shares @ circa 2p ...18 months back... a fool to sell .... The only reason ... Stagnant price .
Patience is all that is required. here... The dips and spikes are a bummer but will be worth it in the long run..
