Hi ST
Indeed he has
Hi Magictrades
Welcome and great post.
Just one point I would like to add is that I have been in regular contact with the previous CEO, Mr Salazar, who I remember saying that as far as LA CEJITA was concerned, they at the time thought it was of porphyry type. So I assume this will be of the LA COLOSA type owned by Anglo Ashanti which, although lower grade than epithermal type, produced over 1000 MT with 25 million ounces. LA CEJITA appears to be 5 times as big as APTA.
august .......... adjective = "respected and impressive."
Brad basically saying hand of history on his shoulder .
Yippppeeee............!!!!
Magic great to have you on board, yourself and Ageos knowledge will be very welcomed.
Just as a side note for the lesser educated we may need some of the info in layman’s terms...
magictrades - I'm re naming you magicbrains!!!!! : )
I take it you and AGEOS have a degree or two between you???
Brad said in his interview yesterday that at some point in the future, ‘august papers’ will be written about the Anzá project.
Nit sure what he means.
Phoeb - nor everyone is smart - Ha Ha Ha!!!!
Thanks Magictrades.
Wow.
I'll check that post out AGEOS. So far from what i've read of the tech report and your posts, plus my general knowledge of Colombia etc, that epithermal overprint of VMS is exactly my hypothesis right now. Given the tectonic setting, the VMS would be a back-arc environment which would support the Kuroko type analogy they refer to in the tech report. This would be Cretaceous age. Then as the subduction zone develops and more accretions occur, we get the Neogene aged porphyries/epithermal systems start to come about. We know we have Miocene age intrusions nearby. Therefore not only can the younger intrusions generate epithermal veins etc, the hydrothermal system could remobilise pre-existing mineralization. Therefore if the VMS was originally a gold rich VMS, it's possible that gets remobilised to an extent. However as you probably know, this would need a serious amount of drilling/investigation to verify likely in conjunction with some university analytical equipment. Best to take things one stage at a time but i'm quite confident this system has an epithermal component to it
Cheers
Magic
Magictrades, 3.58mins into his presentation Brad states, if I have transposed it correctly, “previously noted that the gold events are quite young....Late Miocene, but recent and earlier drilling showed a VMS system....don't know whether these two are related or separate events exploiting the same structures”
He is clearly referring here to the APTA prospect and to the possibility of multi-phase mineralization including a Miocene age epithermal overprint onto a Cretaceous VMS phase. I detailed a possible variation on this in a post dated 16.01.2019 relating to the NI 43-101 ANZA Tech Report [see post paragraphs 3-6] including comparison with the El Roble Mine further south.
You will of course appreciate the significance of a VMS component to the massive sulphides at APTA especially if this proves to be the major primary source of the Au. Will be very interested in your analysis.
AGEOS
That’s true. The upside is here tho if all turns out as expected. Eg today for parity with GGP’s cap OMI would be at 500p ps.
Bebeto good luck mate but its the market cap not the sp that is most important.
Thank you for the welcome guys. I can't promise a video but I also can't promise there won't be either. If time allows, I may do a video on Anza. AGEOS, been reading some of your past posts. Not got through all but it appears you support my current interpretation (based on some brief reading) of Anza as epithermal. I also like that you have questioned the VMS interpretation of the past. I'm a little skeptical on that one also. I think if people have been paying attention, you've spelt out alot of things already :)
@napthman1 - it's relative to people buying now rather than personal revelance as everyone will be different. Btw you bought in there miles behind me ,:)
From the presentation:
Interviewer: "Do you think you Agnico and Newmont are still on track for the world-class, tier-one goldmine in Colombia?"
Brad: (laughs) define world-class? I think the answer is probably yes. I mean, obviously, we are not there yet, but from what we've seen on the early holes, this is not something you see very often, and to get these kind of numbers over this kind of width and this kind of depth extent, it certainly has the makings of something world-class, yes"
It's great that we have two geos on this board, and I'm looking forward to reading their views, which I hope they will continue to share, as we come to learn more about this deposit. I've followed Ageos postings on here with interest, and also magic trades videos/postings on GGP. When I watched his recent video on Scallywag, I was actually thinking 'it would be great if we could get his thoughts on Anza' - and I'm really pleased that we might now get them. Of course not necessarily expecting a video on Anza (it would be brill tho) as I appreciate that magictrades has his studies to concentrate on, but hopefully learning about this region of Columbia will be every bit as informative/educational for him as has been learning about the Paterson. Moving away from the geos, I have to say it was a fantastic presentation and what struck me was Brad's comments that the area they are currently drilling (and getting these promising results) represents a very small part of the overall project (did he say "postage stamp"?).
Babeto again depends at what price you bought in at every 1 p for me at ggp is 5k so really what moves quicker depends what you are invested at
I understand fully all I'm saying is this moves far quicker and better.
Once 30p gone then it will super charge
bebeto do you understand how this works in regards to share price? its not about which gets to a £1 first its the market cap and also at one point you have bought, OMI is the equivalent of ggp at around 1.5-2p. OMI getting to £1 is like GGP at 4.5 -5p
Bebeto- I am in GGP and OMI as well and agree that the upside on OMI is likely to be more rapid than GGP. I took some money out of GGP to increase my position here. This has the potential to be a major goldmine and so the current mcap of 54mil is frankly ridiculous.
I'm in both but my money is on OMI reaching £1 well before GGP. Share count discrepancy is massive, for both to reach that figure GGP mcap £3.879Bn against OMI mcap £187m.
Please take your time. No rush. We expect, update on 2nd drill incl 4 holes, in coming days and weeks.
3rd rig for other 3 holes of 2400mts programme estimated to complete by the end of Feb shall roar in a few days at the most.
Yesterdays webinar offered some idea and optimism, 1st hole drill results seems better than expected. And it is
just a start of new era after a pause of over 3 years and good grade results of the past.
I'm long term holder here.
Thx.
Good to see you on here Magic
