If the MM's are filling a large order, its interesting price stabilized around 30p - the £50 million market cap mark. Big funds are not always allowed to invest in sub £50m companies.
Hi tom 111 – yes, possibly. They could just be filling a large order or just creating a 2-way market, so they benefit from the volume. Who knows for sure, I certainly don’t!
I liken it to a practice allegedly conducted by JPMorgan after they inherited Bear Stearns’ short position in the silver markets years ago; pummelling the price lower regularly to profit from their paper shorts but simultaneously, buying the physical metal at discounted prices. Paper profit on the way down, physical profit on the way up
So reading the article that was kindly posted can I take it the MMs are shorting the stock and marking it down to buy later
Spare a second to look at the politics brewing down there... Not eldorado just yet numpty
Give it a rest
eldorado, I am on the right way. I bought cheaply while there was no interest
and buy more before the price goes up again. Good timing is the key to success.
Yes, many will ignore it until they'll see some sort of RNS or interview.............
The case here is different....just book your tickets/ seats and relax. Each month pretty much you may see
the price tag going up from here on..........!
30p....21/10/20
?....21/11/20
I'm happy to re-visit this thread to discuss.
Easy isn’t it. Majors are funding the way here all we have to do is hold and get paid by the deep pockets. Fully funded so we don’t have bucket shops sending the goons out to rip off pi’s.
Best in the business majors running the show here.
Great article - thanks for sharing.
Could not resist and bought more. MMs collected from
Muppet Investors . I am no longer one of them.
AIM is a game.
I would strongly recommend all on this board to take some time to read the following, written by a market maker and helps to illustrate the current market action:

MM's are tightening the spread which indicates 30p might be the floor for the time being. A relief rally is imminent.
I have a feeling that this wi9ll turn blue later, sellers from yesterday will probably get back in again before it heads north
More buys then sells 3 days running and 3 days price dropping?
2 steps forward 1 step back but ultimately value will prevail. Hold.
mapp, its not short sellers, trust me i tried, there is no borrow on OMI, its just down to profit takers.
Looks good for a bounce now back to 35p, so i'll be in for a few if anyone pays 30.50p
I have new support at 29-32. Consolidate and back to 40-50 onwards.
Short selling thugs knocking
the share. How far? Insider Information. Thugs join forces
and know their nasty game on AIM. I am long and bought when
shorters kept the price down. I am not needy or greedy but curious.
We hit 24p yesterday the 1.618 fib. Mms are satisfied now it’s just a case of getting the stock from weak holders for order filling.
nope not missing anything... this is normal for AIM stocks.. you have to be strong when the swings happen.. I added more this morning, ill add more if we hit the 50% FIB retracement (about 25p in imo)
IMO this stock could be worth £2 - £3 in the next 18 months.. if those drill results are good we will be in £.. not pence..
How come the price can drop 25% over the last few day when each day there twice as many buys then sells am I missing something
Wealth destruction thugs , short sellers, at work. Obvious.
I got caught more than once and no longer buy at the top when
Muppets are in danger. AIM is a Game. PROtraders gain and
many investors go down the drain. Take care, life is not fair.
Bugs everywhere
When got the last 2 days there’s been more bugs than sells we’ve dropped 25% ????
